Thanks to the staff of Almaktoum airport, at the check-in desk of the flight to Moscow of Pobeda Airlines, who on 21.01.2025 helped to arrange the departure of the flight attendant of the airline Pobeda and her mother. Especially thanks to the employee who said "don't worry" and the employee girl, unfortunately the names were not remembered.
the registration doesn't work, 5 hours of waiting on the floor, among the posts and a sea of people, they only gave out a bottle of water! they only promise that everything will work, in the end they only mislead! hungry, without conditions, the reim was moved 3 hours later, horror In the photo there is a queue for coffee

Small and thus very efficient - 10 min from entrance to gates. Free parking is just 50 meters away from the entrance (but better check the status as they can make it paid parking anytime). No traffic ride to the city. Best for Palm and Marina areas.
Didn’t like duty free. You pick a lipstick for example in Mac corner and it is impossible to try it, and nobody will help you. The samples outed upside up and you can’t see the number and the name of item for no getting out it from the hole. So you should get all of them to find right. And IF you find
The airport is large and modern. But not mastered yet. There are very few shops and cafes. We saw only planes from Russia. The airport is not busy at all. It's good, but the service is not enough.
I live in Dubai Marina, of course, it is more convenient to get here than in DXB. A very comfortable and intuitive airport with free parking for cars- leaving a rented car, you don't think when the owner will pick it up with subsequent billing, of course, the Dutik is too small, and there is nowhere to eat except for the McDuck, but I think this is for now. You will definitely be met by enterprising merchants of apple products with an offer to transport a couple of gadgets to Moscow for a small fee. It's a pity Emirates does not fly to Moscow Time from here, but it would be the only airport I would use
Overall, I really liked this airport. What exactly: pleasant and helpful staff, few people, no queues, compact, fast, to / from Marina go quickly (30-40 min) and inexpensive by taxi. You can get there by public transport bus + metro. The bus runs according to the schedule from the stop next to the exit from the airport, and the subway is a minute walk from disembarkation from the bus. The bus schedule can be viewed in Google maps - everything is clear.
There are 2 cafes and a small DFree in the departure area. But the delivery to/from the plane is by bus.
The impression is very positive in the departure area: fast, organized, understandable. There is a duty-free store: one large store with perfumes, cosmetics, cigarettes and alcohol, one small, like a pharmacy, and one with souvenirs. Whatever, but it's more than enough for me.
There's a Costa cafe on the second floor (I had breakfast here), Mac. Heineken bar is on the first floor. As far as I'm concerned, you won't be lost either, even with the kids.
But the arrival area is a bit poor: there are vending machines with coffee and snacks, but personally I just didn't figure out how to get coffee. And the only cafe that is available is the same Costa in the departure area, but it is at the entrance, before check-in, you need to make some way with a suitcase.
The airport is great.Parking is huge and free right in front of the entrance. There aren't many people.Everything is clean, the places are full, the toilets are perfectly clean. The service is fast.Upon arrival, they are allowed to scan the retina of the eyes.Everything went quickly for my husband and daughter, but it took me a while for my retina to miss me)) Wi-fi is free, fast and unlimited in time.Maybe the only drawback is that it's too far from some emirates, but it's perfect. When you fly to the airport, look at the bottom..gorgeous pictures open from the illuminator)
It's a very cool airport, small, essentially one-story, and as free as possible (at least when we were there). There is a huge empty parking lot in front of him, there is practically no traffic nearby. When we took off, there was 1 person in the queue at check-in, 0 at passport control, 0 at scanning, as a result, it took 5 minutes from entering the airport to the waiting room. There is a Smart Gate framework at passport control, such as it should be convenient and fast, but this is if they work, which does not happen for everyone for unknown reasons. In the waiting area there is a McDuck with adequate lunch prices and a coffee shop. The toilets are cool in Dubai and there are quite a lot of them. In fact, the only disadvantage of a small airport is the lack of sleeves, buses are transported to and from the plane.
You can get from the airport to the metro by bus F55, runs according to the schedule (there is one in Yandex Maps) once every 15-20 minutes, it is paid with a Nol transport card. Both times the bus was half empty. It seems like it's not far away, but the bus wanders through all sorts of local back streets, picking up people, as a result, it takes about 40 minutes in time. Of course, it would be absolutely wonderful if the metro was extended to this airport.
The airport is clean. Spacious, free. There are very few people.
The toilets are clean and beautiful, like offices... It's so nice to see the cleanliness. I was changing clothes there.
And in the waiting area, the carpet is dark red in color. It's nice to sit. And the seats are soft and comfortable. And most importantly, peace and quiet. And you don't have to run somewhere... Here's the exit nearby...
though Dutifrey is boring... very... There are no expensive bags or glasses... just like in Sochi. There are no normal spirits either. But this is because it is new and the flow of people is not large. That's why the dude is modest))))
Well, it's not scary... I flew from Dubai to Sochi after New Year's Eve. From heat to heat... That's life...
The airport is modern, everything is fast and clear without queues. I was especially pleased with the passage of passport control through the terminal using a passport scan. The only thing is to be careful with taxi drivers. At the airport, a taxi company representative announces one price, and upon arrival at the hotel, the driver already announces a completely different one. It's a small thing, but it's unpleasant. It is better to use aggregators, especially Yandex.Taxi is available in the Emirates.
A big, clean, new airport. The duty free zone is scanty, you don't need to expect that you can buy something here. There are drinks, perfumes and chocolates, statuettes of camels and Burj khalifa. That's probably all! The waiting area is huge, there are enough seats, there is carpet on the floor, children ran barefoot. A makdack was seen on the second floor, but we did not go there, we arrived late at the airport.
The check-in area is a huge long snake maze. A boarding pass was issued quickly enough, then the customs area. Everything is decent, fast, without huge waiting queues.
An amazing airport! Very convenient! The plane was delayed and we rested at the airport, ate at McDonald's. There is a smoking room on the territory of the airport, comfortable with excellent ventilation. Comfortable and clean toilets with hygienic showers. From the bottom of my heart: 5 points!
A large and empty car, as many wrote here. See the photo)
Positive: intuitive, clean, quiet, comfortable in air temperature, there are drinking fountains (take an empty bottle).
Cons: there are few employees at the counters and at customs, few cafes where you can have a snack, no lounge. It's still far away, you can see on the map: it's 50 km from Sharjah, but so far we've been driving from the hotel for 2.5 hours).
Keep in mind when choosing a flight (for example, Ural aircrafts fly here on tours, which delayed our departure from Moscow Time at 1.30, and back at 2.30).
A small airport, especially after the main one. There is no metro, there is rarely a bus, but there is a night bus. Taxi 100-120 dirhams to Barsha Heights and 90-100 back. There are few flights, so it is quite free. There is a taxi stand, somewhere in front of 200 check-in counters. There are automatic border crossing stands, for those who are in Dubai again, they save time, if those who did not try to pass there for the first time, it would be even faster. Baggage collection is slow. The Dutik is very small both on arrival and on departure. Cosmetics, if you need it very little, alcohol and tobacco are available, but it is easier to buy in Russia. The business hall is small, the food is rather Indian-style, there is alcohol. An hour before departure, they open the gate and start to drive everyone into it - do not see it, there is not even a toilet in this septic tank. The manager in the business hall shouted "all aboard" and literally kicked her out of the hall. Calmly let it pass by.
A huge modern building. The information is available, everything is logical and understandable. The big dutifrey store. Cafes are open. A good gift shop. Where you can easily part with the remaining dirhams) there is a lot of space in the waiting rooms, there is always a place to sit down.
Huge (of course smaller than DXB), modern, conveniently located (especially for Dubai Marina, Jumeirah or Dubai Expo), as practice has shown (04/16/2024) - better protected from the vagaries of nature…
But at the same time, the airport is completely empty. And empty in every sense of the word. Empty free parking lots, empty border crossing posts (one or two out of 30 may work), the same with check-in for a flight. There is a huge queue at one working counter. In the years since EXPO2020, this air harbor has not yet been "promoted". All hope is on Emirates, which seems to be going to move their base there!
Excellent modern airport. High-speed free WiFi, you can recharge your gadgets for free.
You are quite comfortable and free to go through all the points, there are a lot of places, there are few people)))
The airport is quite big. Duty free with a good choice. However, the prices in duty free are no longer humane at all. In the departure area, you can only eat at McDonald's and another cafe. And the most interesting thing is that nothing is announced on the speakerphone. From the word quite so that you need to monitor your flight yourself.
A relatively small airport. There is a small range of perfumes in duty free, the most popular ones are quickly running out.
Comfortable waiting for the flight. Friendly staff, always ready to help.
Friendly staff.
Everything is clean and tidy.
It is quite comfortable and cozy .
There is a cafe.
Prices, it seemed to me, are lower than at airports in Russia, by 30 percent.
The airport is no frills, but large and convenient. There are a couple of coffee shops and a McDuck for food, there is a good dutik. Large spaces and lots of chairs. The nice thing is that the floor is carpeted.
Nice airport, clean. There are charging stations for gadgets. Normal Duty free. There is free water. Lots of chairs. A childhood dream came true to watch a plane landing and taking off. It's all in the palm of your hand
By the way, the prices in duty free will be pleasantly pleased. The staff is very polite and attentive. And find another public place with a red carpet. It is very pleasant to be here. There is a McDonald's on the second floor, you can't stay hungry
Excellent airport, large waiting rooms and plenty of seating. Clean and spacious. The cafe is not enough and you can run into a queue. But in general, the impression is good.
The airport is good. Small, but clean. Duty free is also small, not the same as in a large airport.
The business hall is also small.
And such an unpleasant aunt walks around the hall and almost looks into bags so that someone doesn't put something from the hall with them.😅😅😅 In front of our eyes, some of the guests began to turn out bags of French fries to check if they had taken a coke. The rest of the guests were uncomfortable. Well, in general, this is somehow unusual for the Emirates. Hopefully, this aunt is no longer working in the business lounge)))
But otherwise, of course, everything is on the level! Just like everyone else in the UAE!
Of course, this is not the central airport of Dubai, there are no expensive and interesting installations, many boutiques, etc. But there is a lot of space and few people (mostly Russian-speaking people, because the main flights are from Russia). There is so much space that children can arrange suitcase races (which is exactly what our children were doing). The airport is more than intuitive. Upon arrival at the control, they immediately divide the queue with and without children. An adult's face is scanned, which allows for more rapid control in the future. Upon arrival, they give out a free SIM card, which is valid for exactly one day after activation - convenient. After passing the control, there are shops and currency exchange offices. There are free pump rooms with drinking water at the airport. You can get to the city by public transport (bus + metro) or by taxi. The NOL card (travel card) can be purchased at the store (see photo). The price is 25 dirhams, of which 19 remain on the map - this is enough to get to anywhere in Dubai. The bus goes to the metro station (at night to Ibn Battuta, from 6:00 am to EXPO 2020). The transition from the bus to the subway is very clear, it does not cause difficulties.
About taxis - municipal taxis (with blue and red roofs) are on duty near the airport - they are cheaper than calling through the app.
The departure area is also clear and operational (due to low passenger traffic). The waiting chairs are comfortable. Minus - we boarded through the bus - there were no teletraps either for arrival or departure. In general, I liked the airport because there are few passengers, a lot of space and everything is clear.
A large, new and modern Dubai airport. It is not heavily loaded with people. The location of the airport is not convenient enough, it is only close to the Dubai Marina area. There are many more enclosed spaces, most likely they will be shops, From the food outlets we saw only McDonald's. Duty Free has Russian-speaking staff.
