A magnificent monument of Byzantine architecture, carefully preserved in Turkey. Getting there is easy and straightforward. We take any bus from Konakli, Turkler, Okurjalar or Alanya itself and go to the terminal, to the market. We get off there and wait for bus number 4. It will say Kale on it. He will take you to the highest point of the fortress. In 2024, we faced the fact that the Turks sharply raised the price for a visit to $ 20. Well, what to do. The fortress has fantastic views and a small museum. The way back is now all gentrified, there are convenient stairs everywhere. We need to go down to the mosque, there is a free toilet near it. Then it's better to get on the cable car and go down. I recommend.

It's a great place to visit.
We were in a car, and there were a lot of "pockets" along the way for parking and a leisurely walk. The views from here are amazing.
On the way to the viewing there is a cool blossom cafe with delicious food: pastas, salads, seafood, desserts.
They also make a good hookah here.

The fortress is highly recommended for visiting. I've been there 2 times and I'll be happy to come again. Choose a day that is not too hot, put on shoes and dress comfortably, take water with you and go ahead! My favorite route is to take the cable car up, take a walk at the top and walk down. You can go to Cleopatra beach or to the seaport. You can see a lot of interesting things besides architectural monuments. For example, we managed to meet land turtles, which are quite large! And the existing residential buildings of the last century and the beginning of the last century are generally a separate story. It was very funny.
