The repair is at least 10 years old, the rooms are very old in the main building for sure. The food is mediocre and the same, some dishes looked like they had already been eaten)))) animation is very primitive. The advantages are a large well-groomed territory, a good reef with lots of fish right on the beach of the hotel, the beach and sun beds are also good.

We had a rest in June 2022.
Flight.
We arrived at Sharm El Sheikh airport from Vnukovo by iFly. In flight, they are fed sausage with pasta. It takes 6.5 hours to fly.
A health declaration is issued during the flight.
It must be filled in (!), otherwise the customs will simply not let you through. Even if the travel agency has issued another declaration, this one still needs to be filled out.
Keep your passport, voucher, PCR and this declaration with you.
Check-in
Upon arrival at the hotel, we were told to leave our belongings at the entrance to the hotel and go through the registration process ourselves. They took the documents and sent them to lunch. After lunch, at the reception, we found out that the room was given to us by seaview, in a new building, as we requested. The receptionist and the porter independently said that the room was very good, and it really turned out to be so.
Number 2219. Second line, second floor. Quiet, calm, no animations in the mornings and evenings. The entire infrastructure of the hotel is within walking distance. The beach and the pool are 2 minutes away if you go down through RedSky. The location of the room is close to ideal. The room itself is very neat, fresh, spacious hallway. A standard set of amenities for 5*.
Russian Russian staff is very friendly at first, they communicate quite well in Russian, they smile, they tell how long they have been waiting for Russian tourists (yeah. But more on that later).
Room service is provided daily. Hi, Ali! Thanks, friend :)
Food
The first and most important problem is the intestinal bacteria. With a 90% guarantee, you will get diarrhea. I advise you to stock up on enterofuril or analogues in advance. I was so unwell that they took me to the clinic for an IV drip on insurance, because dehydration began. You can buy local antinal tablets (very good. They are even called "tourist pills"). There is a pharmacy on site in the market building. The pharmacist is a galimy huckster, he charges 2 prices. So look at the price in local currency on the package of tablets, it is indicated for the package, not for 1 plate. You can try to request a receipt.
The second, no less important problem is food. If there are 4 restaurants and 1 Alyakart restaurant, there is not much to eat. The food is the same every day. The choice of fruits is poor. And this is in all restaurants, with a few interpretations. Of the delicious - fish, battered fish, pastries and bread. Desserts in Kulin are delicious. Sometimes there are delicious soups (do not take borscht in any case!) I won't even consider the rest. At the bar counters of restaurants, you can ask for mango juice from a box (it runs out quickly), bottled water, coffee, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. It is better not to drink drinks from vending machines. Juices from vending machines are powder in water (upi and analogues), and cola began to be loaded with water in the last days of our stay at the hotel. So I emphasize: juice - only from the box, coke - only from the bottle, beer - only from the bottle, no ice.
In some pool bars, ice cream of different colors/flavors is served from 10 to 12.
The third problem is alcohol. He's a local. It is impossible to drink. I was able to find a more or less tolerable option for myself - rum + Cola. Only without ice. I guess that's why I got diarrhea.
Beer is a light lager, quite good if poured from a bottle.
Hotel infrastructure
The territory of the hotel is big, not even that big. BIG ONE! At first we got confused in the intricacies of the tracks, but then we got used to it. There are many pools. There are pools with music, bar and animation. The water park! It's quite decent, interesting, but queues for the most interesting descents, and soon gets boring.
As I already wrote, there are 4 restaurants and an Alakart, a sports bar, many playgrounds on the street.
The evening animation takes place in a separate amphitheater, you need to leave the lobby towards the main entrance. The animation can be quite interesting, the presenters are well done! And sometimes it's just karaoke, here our tribesmen show, so to speak, the breadth of our whole soul, uh ...
after the animation, there's a disco in the lobby bar. Hello DJs, you are cool!
The territory of the hotel is constantly serviced, the gardener was seen almost every day.
Attitude towards tourists
When we first arrived, there were few Europeans. Everything was fine, without distortions. Service, smiles, jokes. But as soon as the shipment of Italians and other European citizens was delivered, it began. Like in Turkey. They need glass glasses, we need plastic. The waiter offers them coffee from the bar, to us - go get it yourself from the coffee machine. They are carefully poured alcohol, we are splashed, ready, take it! It spilled from above - there's a napkin over there, take it yourself, wipe it off. Unpleasant. Unacceptable.
Beach
The beach is nice, sandy, well maintained. Volleyball courts. Shower. Animators are agitating people for different games. There is enough space for everyone. There are enough sun beds, there are palanquins. A huge plus: it is forbidden to book sun beds. If you are very cunning, and in the morning you put a towel on the sunbed, which you really like, and went to breakfast yourself, "congratulations, Sharik, you are a goofball!" Upon arrival, the towel will not be in place. And losing a towel in a hotel is expensive, very expensive. To prove that the towel was taken away by the hotel staff - well, good luck ...
the entry into the sea is very shallow. Ebb and flow - every day. It happens that in the morning there is simply nowhere to swim, the water is gone, the beach is closed, we go to the pool or water park. But when there is water, run to the beach to the pontoon, look at the fish! There are many of them, beautiful, different! We do not forget to take our mask with us to go out on the reef from the pontoon and swim. You can buy a waterproof phone case, the footage turns out fantastic (if you know how to use it)! Some days the water is warm, like in the bathroom.
A big minus is that sellers of entertainment, such as massage, diving, and excursions, constantly go. There are a lot of them, they are annoying!
Another disadvantage: the beach and pools close after sunset. Along with the bars. Apparently, it is connected with the safety of vacationers on the beach. It is unclear why the pools close so early.
Plus: lifeguards are always on duty at the beach and in the pools.
Minus: it is impossible (!) to collect and export shells, corals and other gifts of the sea. This is enshrined in law. You can run into a huge fine, deportation and a ban on entry into the country. There is a very serious noise at the airport.
The Internet
He is there. Even on the beach. Stable - in the lobby. In other places, it's worse. Either constant network loss or low speed. The Internet has become much worse in recent days. The network is not coping with the load. In general, the Internet is a Schrodinger.
Viber works, among other things, on audio and video calls. Watsap and cart are just text. Providers block them due to local legislation.
Positive:
- quick check-in
- comfortable room
- nice sandy beach, sun beds, palanquins
- the staff speaks Russian
- entertainment, lots of pools, water park

Minuses:
- the food is monotonous, tasteless, there is almost no fruit
- local alcohol is terrible
- there are almost no high-quality soft drinks, the drinks menu is just miserable
- intestinal bacteria
- the attitude of the staff towards Russians is sometimes simply unacceptable
- there is no Internet anymore than there is
- sellers on the beach
Summing up, I would like to say that, despite the great advantages of the hotel, the hotel does not meet the 5* level. We are not going to come here any more in the near future, we will consider other options. Time will tell how the hotel will develop further.
