Attending the Wimbledon tournament in 2024 at the All England Lawn Tennis Club was a real event for me and one of the most exciting sporting experiences of the year. This legendary tournament really lives up to its global reputation — everything is organized at the highest level, from logistics to the smallest details on the courts. Watching live the game of the world's leading tennis players is an incredible pleasure that cannot be compared with a television broadcast. Every match was suspenseful, the audience reacted with lively emotions, and the atmosphere was truly athletic and inspiring.
Separately, I would like to note the very atmosphere prevailing on the territory of the club. Everything is steeped in history, tradition and respect for tennis. Impeccable organization, friendly staff, manicured lawns, iconic strawberries with cream and, of course, excellent beer, which is especially pleasant to drink outdoors to the sound of applause from the nearby courts. This place is truly alive with tennis and hospitality.
But I can't help but mention one unpleasant moment. I would like to express my special "ingratitude" to the royal guards. Their behavior at some points seemed overly suspicious and tense. I understand the security requirements and the high level of responsibility, but the constant gaze, as if I were an enemy of the people or a potential violator, spoiled the overall impression. I would like to have more trust and respect for the spectators who came to enjoy the tournament, and not to disrupt the order.
However, Wimbledon is a unique experience. Despite the small fly in the ointment, there was a huge charge of emotions, inspiration and a desire to come back again. Thank you All England Lawn Tennis Club for celebrating tennis!
