I do not recommend to apply for the repair of macbooks. They take you for an idiot for your own money!
A macbook filled with coffee was brought. We have agreed on the terms. They called me to coordinate that they needed to solder something there and replace the keyboard, I agreed. I found the keyboard and brought it to them. As a result, a month later, I came to pick up the laptop for the first time.
1. I asked the master what was soldered there, he replied that he no longer remembers (a month has passed). That is, they will not report to you about the work done, they may throw lefties in front of you to just take the money (I bought a poppy, so there is money).
2. I asked about the diagnosis, to which they replied that they just assembled it and that's it, it's under the password (then it's clear why he doesn't know about the service mode). I asked for advice on how to load it now to check, to which the master replied that he did NOT UNDERSTAND MUCH about MacBooks and could not tell me! Okay, I found it on the Internet, tested it for 5 minutes before turning on the cooling.
3. I noticed in the service that the trackpad does not respond well from one side, I said so, I was offered to leave the device for another couple of days, but I needed it for work, I took it home, agreeing that I would bring it later for free revision.
4. I came home and saw that sticky spots remained on the case in some places, including on the display (I wonder how people give them devices for cleaning if they simply can't wipe it from the outside before handing it over). I decided to open the back cover and make sure that at least everything was wiped. But unfortunately, there are also divorces, and even in those places where it can be wiped with your hands. Reluctantly, they wiped it off somehow.
5. I noticed that one of the cooling coolers is NOT SPINNING, it just stuck. Then my patience ran out, I wrote to the owner of the establishment and told him all this. He apologized and said that everything would be fixed.
I brought the MacBook back, noted once again that the trackpad does not react well, and that when opening the lid, you can hear that some kind of loop sticks and clicks at the same time.
They called a week later and came to pick me up. And I see that the trackpad is installed unevenly, almost touching the case at one angle. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING HERE IS:
They begin to fill me in that they tried to expose it for several hours and it is very difficult that it will MOVE on its OWN after a while anyway, that this is a known problem of macs. Here I finally understand what kind of service it is! (I have 3 more macbooks at home, of all previous generations, and none of the described problems, the oldest is already 9 years old!).
I asked if they could try to set up the trackpad again. To which the owner of the service says, well, we can, not the fact that it will be successful, it will take at least 4 hours and rolling his eyes begins to mutter that it is necessary to unscrew the speakers, put them aside, peel off the batteries, disconnect a lot of cables and then proceed to align the trackpad.
In general, I took the laptop home as it is. When I opened it at home, I heard the same clatter of the plume coming off and realized that they hardly did everything right. I opened the back cover again, fortunately the cooler began to rotate, all the traces that were there last time remained, plus scratches appeared on the trackpad (I generally got a dirtier laptop than I gave them). I searched the Internet for how to align the trackpad and did it in 30 minutes. To do this, of course, you do not need to peel off anything, disconnect, etc., just remove the back cover and loosen the screws. In principle, the trackpad can be completely removed only by disconnecting its cable and unscrewing it, since it gets to the side of the display.
As a result, for a quarter of the cost of the MacBook, I received a very dubious repair. It's probably worth being glad that he at least remained a worker.
The best service, the only ones doing complex repairs in Georgia like replacing the Processor or BDA soldering chips, very satisfied, very high quality!I 've been to all of them with a high rating , storytellers everywhere
These are magicians!!! I poured my MacBook on the m1 max just poured it into the total - turned on in the waterfall, it practically flowed straight out of it.
