We had a rest in the second decade of January 2025.
The location is good: the main historical attractions are nearby (to the Hippodrome Square 5 min. slightly uphill, there is also the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia), but there is a high-speed tram railway nearby, which can be critical. We were mostly outside the hotel, and at night the trams stopped running, so the "noise of the wheels" didn't bother us.
The hotel is traditional (most of them are nearby), not big and cozy. There are 4 floors, including one basement, where the rooms have access to the street and a tiny courtyard.
The rooms are small, but quite sufficient for a comfortable stay. There is everything you need (slippers and washcloths, tea, instant coffee included), except for bathrobes. There is a minibar (non-refrigerator), kettle, iron and umbrellas at the reception.
The mattresses are excellent, moderately hard. The linen is decent and clean.
Cleaning is daily, but at a minimum. Traditionally in Turkey, dust is under the bed, on cupboards, on wall lamps, and on the headboard.
The TV is not usually small, located behind the mirror panel, connect a flash drive or hard drive. Not critical, because watching TV was not an end in itself.
The staff at the reception speaks English and Russian. They are very friendly, polite, and professional. They prompt and solve questions.
The breakfasts are decent and take place on the terrace overlooking the lighthouse and the sea.
I stayed at this hotel from January 7 to January 17, 2025. The hotel is located next to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, a very quiet and peaceful area. The hotel is cozy like a family home. The staff is helpful, there is a Russian-speaking girl who helps solve all the problems. Good food (varied breakfasts). The food is delicious. Of the hotels that are located nearby, this one seemed to be the most cozy and attractive
Nice cozy hotel. The rooms are small, but everything you need is there. The staff is polite, cleaning was carried out every day, towels were also changed. Normal sound insulation, you can't hear the neighbors. The breakfasts are delicious and there is a pretty good assortment of products.
The hotel is far from the metro. The streets are narrow nearby, taxis are not willing to come. But the Breakfast is great! On the roof with an excellent view of the neighboring houses and the sea! The pillows, blankets and beds are good! The atmosphere and the staff are sincere!
It is located in the old center of Istanbul. All attractions are within walking distance. Very tasty pastries for breakfast. Polite staff, highly recommended.
We stayed at the hotel from 8.02 to 12.02.24. We liked everything very much. The location is just super, walking distance to all major attractions and the promenade. The staff is polite and always ready to help with any questions. The room is clean and cozy, with a view of the bay on one side, and the minarets and the dome of the Blue Mosque on the other. The breakfast is varied and delicious, good enough to gain strength before exploring the beautiful city
Personal belongings are thrown out of the room, there is constant noise on the ground floor in the morning. Plus a rattling railroad all day until midnight. The hotel is for leaving things and not being there all the time. Not comfortable. The breakfasts are upstairs, beautiful views, the breakfasts themselves are average, there is a basic and no more. The staff is unfriendly. I came to look for where my personal belongings were missing from the room, they were extremely unhappy, why am I still outraged by this! Then they just looked like a wolf. How could the personal belongings of the resident be thrown out of the occupied room? Closed chocolate, fruit, juice in a closed bag, a bottle of alcohol and a mug for tea. They just threw everything in the trash. I do not recommend the hotel. Take care of your nerves
We stayed at this hotel from 6.01.24 to 13.01.24. The hotel was recommended by the travel agency for its excellent location, as it was announced, all the main attractions are within walking distance. I totally agree. There is a shop nearby where you can buy fruits, water and various products. We liked the hotel so much that we decided to extend our stay for two more days. I really liked the breakfasts, especially the pastries. Turkish tea is excellent. The choice of dishes is varied: fried eggs, potatoes, vegetables, fruits, yoghurts, dried fruits. In a word, you will not stay hungry. Very beautiful Turkish dishes: plates, bowls; it's nice that the hotel follows the traditions. The service at the hotel is of the highest standard. Everyone is polite and friendly. The room was cleaned every day, linen and towels were changed, it should be noted that the towels are divine, so soft and fluffy. If the shampoo or shower gel ran out, they always reported bottles, they did not skimp, even with a vengeance. The room has everything you need: a hairdryer, air conditioning, TV, kettle, refrigerator, safe, I really liked the mattress, it's a pity you can't buy such in Moscow. We lived in 101 rooms, it is also good because there is an exit to the courtyard, in spring and summer it is a great bonus, you can sit and drink coffee at a table. We were unlucky with the weather, it was constantly raining, we wanted to buy umbrellas, but there were plenty of them at the reception, there were enough for all the guests. The hotel staff works excellently, everything is always in place, they respond instantly to requests. I downloaded various Turkish taxi applications, but they didn't work for me there, the administrators called a taxi through their applications - it turned out to be much cheaper than just catching a taxi driver on the street. I want to express my gratitude to the girl-administrator Nazli speaks excellent Russian. She gave a lot of advice on which market to go to, which metro or tram to get to the right place, and received detailed answers to all questions. The terrace on the top floor deserves special attention. It offers stunning sea views. I recommend this hotel to everyone!!!
Good day to everyone. We stayed at this hotel from March 13 to March 18, 2024. The hotel is wonderful, in the city center. The cleanliness is perfect, it smells delicious with perfume. The receptionist Sami is a very friendly and attentive young man. The room is magnificent with a view over the bay. There is a beautiful view from the dining room with panoramic windows, you can go out onto the veranda. We booked only 3 days, then extended it, we didn't want to go to another hotel.there were no seats here, by a lucky chance someone refused to book. Breakfast buffet for 10+. Employees Anna, Leila and Mahmoud will welcome you as best friends. Thanks to the hotel management for such hospitality and service!!! 5+++
A very compact and cozy hotel in the historical part of Istanbul, has everything you need in the room. Beautiful breakfast terrace overlooking the strait
Honestly, it's a so-so hotel. It'll do for a couple of days. We were in the car. We stayed for 3 nights. Everything is clean, tidy, but more than modest. There is parking, but they can take it if you drive away. There are no breakfasts, but there are plenty of cafes nearby. In general, anyone without complaints can be considered.
A nice hotel with an amazing location. The room is clean, quite spacious for two, daily cleaning, snow-white towels. The windows really look at the railway, but we haven't noticed a single train in a week. Someone writes about good audibility - with the windows closed, prayer is barely audible, we did not wake up, and the neighbors can only be heard if they shout out loud.
The disadvantages for which I took off the star:
1. Tasteless and varied breakfast, this was the main disadvantage. But the view from the terrace is magnificent.
2. The Wi-Fi was constantly falling off, you had to get up and go to the door to reconnect.
In general, the hotel is clearly not 4 stars, but I can recommend it for budget travel.
Nice hotel, clean, I liked the breakfasts, lots of fruits, vegetables and cheese. The hotel meets the price and quality. The location is also good, you can walk to all the attractions, I recommend
Nice hotel in the center of old Istanbul. Transfer in a luxury car from and to the airport. Delicious breakfasts. Friendly staff. Daily cleaning service. There is a Russian-speaking girl at the reception. I definitely recommend the hotel!
We rested at the hotel from 12/25/29/23. We arrived early in the morning, were pleasantly surprised that we were immediately checked in. The hotel is very cozy and family-run. Breakfast with a view of the bay is hardly a miracle! The breakfasts are delicious, the food is varied. The staff is very polite, they will always prompt and help. The reception staff is pleasant, I really liked the Russian-speaking girl. The rooms are cleaned every day, linen is changed, the cleanest delicious-smelling towels. People of very different nationalities, but the warmth and comfort of the hotel united us. It was very pleasant for us to return to our room in the evenings after walking. The mood of the New Year's Eve holiday was created by a Christmas tree at the reception. It will be sad to part, but we know where we will return to!I will recommend this hotel
It is located in the center of the plus. There is a minus train nearby. Cleanliness is a plus. Cafes are expensive minus. Walking around the city is a plus.
The hotel is normal, the usual three. We only spent the night there. I was with the children. The food is good. The room was constantly cleaned and towels were changed. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We asked them once about the bookmarks, so we come the next morning, they fried them especially for us. It was a pleasure. They speak Russian. It is located in the very center. Two steps and all the historical monuments are nearby. I liked everything!
The hotel is cute and cozy!Friendly and executive staff, two points, a very poor choice of breakfast food and nowhere was it said that there is a railway next door, it was a surprise for us, the trains are not very audible but still)
The room is very dirty: there is dust and hair everywhere. The sofa on which the child was sleeping is broken. The handle on the bathroom door is broken, the window is broken. Windows on the railway- when there is a train, the whole room shakes. The staff is not responsive. The breakfast is not bad, but it consists of snacks, if you want hot scrambled eggs - pay 5€ extra.
All photos are appropriate, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is quite decent, the location is super, the main attractions are a 10-minute walk away, the only drawback is small rooms, but in the historical center of Istanbul it is everywhere like this. I recommend the hotel.
A good hotel for short trips, good location, 5-7 minutes to Sultanahmet Square at a leisurely pace. Beautiful terrace, good breakfasts. The rooms are clean.
A very cozy hotel, delicious buffet breakfasts, the view from the terrace is just a fire! the room is very clean, the bed linen was changed every day, the staff is very friendly, the entire infrastructure is within walking distance. I definitely recommend it
The location of the hotel is excellent. Everything else is a big minus. We lived on the ground floor, the street is very audible, the closed windows do not help, and the wind is blowing out of them. Breakfast is a horror of edible only boiled eggs and pastries. No scrambled eggs, pancakes and sausages. They haven't cleaned our room yet.
Convenient location, the room is very small and tired, one armchair, breakfast is usual, you can eat for three days, you don't want to anymore. Russian Russian staff is different, mostly friendly, but strangely enough, the girl at the reception of Asian appearance, but with a native Russian language, was very dismissive of Russian tourists, which greatly spoiled the impression of the hotel. I will not use the services of this hotel for the second time.
It will go, or rather it will come down (a three nevertheless)Clean, very modest. But the biggest disadvantage is that the windows overlook the train-but it is also tolerable! The breakfasts are good, you can't take anything out.‼️But we won't go back there again.
An average hotel, but clean. Breakfasts are very modest for the indicated cost. But the location is wonderful! The historical center, the feeling is amazing, you are touching a century-old history!
A cozy, clean hotel, delicious breakfasts with stunning views of the Bosphorus, close to the main attractions, friendly staff, I recommend you to stay.
A cozy room on the ground floor with good sound insulation - absolutely nothing could be heard from the street. Everything was great from the friendly staff of the hotel, to the comfort of your stay. Attractions and a transport hub are within walking distance.
Tired hotel. Both the room stock and the common areas. It is very beautiful in the pictures and may have been so once, but a lot of time has passed since the promotional photos.
In the main building, the toilet is only on the 4th floor. For a hotel lobby, this is nonsense, in my opinion.
They can also settle in the neighboring building, Almina Guest House, there are several rooms, cramped, climbing to the rooms by a narrow staircase. You get to the main building across the street.
And I understand perfectly well that this is not the main thing in Istanbul, but I sincerely believe that the information should correspond to reality. There are no 4 stars here.
Frankly speaking, there is no hotel. In addition to the location, I can only mention a comfortable bed and blankets with pillows. Otherwise, a complete failure! Breakfasts are about nothing: a bunch of different types of olives, but not a single type of milk porridge… The staff is unfriendly (except for the hostesses). Kondey makes noise like a tractor, the audibility from the street is 100 percent (every morning at 5:30 we woke up from calls to prayer)! The bathroom stinks of sewage and mold. The room cleaning is disgusting, towels are not changed. But the most annoying thing is the constantly falling off, unstable Wi-Fi! I do not recommend visiting this hotel and sincerely do not understand those who have left positive reviews about it…
The hotel is good- the breakfasts are excellent- the variety is clean and cozy... Small and compact, there is a viewing platform - the Bosphorus Strait is visible
In November 2022, they moved into an annex instead of the main building, despite the fact that when choosing a room there were only photos of a decent room from the main building. In fact, instead of the beautiful interiors of the hotel and a desk for work, I got a small room with only room for a bed and two small bedside tables. Also, the interior of the extension is completely missing. The neighbors in the annex complained that they chose other rooms, to which they were told everything was occupied in the main building, but as soon as we get free we can move, so there is probably a chance to move from there.
Everything is three-fold: the room is shabby, the cleaning is so-so (and toilet paper was even saved), the breakfasts are tasteless, the staff is not responsive (they asked for a chair in the room - they just ignored it). One day, around 10 pm, they could not get into the hotel, knocked, waited until the closed door of the hotel was opened for some unknown reason.
We had a rest in February 2020. A good hotel, conveniently located relative to the surrounding area. Good view from the windows of the restaurant (it is located on the 3rd floor of the first building). The room was cleaned every day, as well as all the towels were changed. I was pleasantly surprised by the presence of a kettle and tea and coffee right in the room. There is a railway nearby, but trains run very rarely on it, we have only breathed a few in 4 days, it does not bother at all. The staff speaks Russian. They helped to orient themselves upon arrival, gave Dahlia a map, and offered excursions. The breakfasts are monotonous, but you will not stay hungry. I would recommend it for a stopover in Istanbul.
A very cozy hotel, more than enough for budget travel. The rooms have both 2-bed and one-and-a-half beds, on which you get a good night's sleep. Breakfast from 7-30, eggs, porridge, a large selection of local snacks and cheeses, sweets, jam and honey in the assortment. We never went hungry.
I advise those who spend most of their holidays at the sights, and not at the hotel. There are 2 channels on TV in Russian.

A small hotel is a 3-minute walk from Sultan Ahmet Square. She's not a bad Swede.
I stayed at this hotel from March 11 to March 14 (I'm just leaving today). The hotel is very nice, located in a quiet location, there is no noise from the road. The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are within a 10-minute walk.
The room is very clean, the bed linen and towels are snow-white!!!!!! There is coffee and tea in the room, a kettle. A delicious breakfast is served in the morning. Thanks to the hotel staff for their hospitality.
I liked the hotel, it is conveniently located, attractions are nearby, transport is also nearby. The breakfasts are delicious, the choice of dishes is large, there are fruits, vegetables, yogurt, hot dishes. The staff is friendly, polite, helpful, speak Russian. The room was cleaned every day. We were in December, the air conditioner was working to warm up, it was even hot.
We were in January 2020. Great location. Quietly. The most comfortable beds, we slept well after walking around the city.Clear. Comfortably. Delicious breakfasts. Thanks!
Great hotel! The breakfasts are good, varied, shampoo gels, kettle and everything to it, cleaning every day is very good. The only downside is that the room is very, very small. It's just very small! As it is, everything is fine. 5 minutes walk from Sultanahmed Square, Istanbul city center. 7 minutes from Topkapi and everything else. I recommend this hotel to everyone!!!!
it is very conveniently located. the Blue Mosque is a 5-minute walk away, the Grand Bazaar is 15 minutes away. good breakfasts. the furniture in the room is not new, but everything is clean.
