The chic hotel on the tower in Batumi surprised me with a magnificent view of the city from a height — it's just amazing! There is a cafe, an observation deck and a restaurant on different floors, and the positive staff is always ready to help and give advice.
The ancient alphabet on the modern tower is a real business card of Batumi. The 130-meter tower is encircled by a DNA ribbon, on which 33 letters of the Georgian alphabet, one of the oldest in the world, are laid out from bottom to top. This unique combination of antiquity and modernity makes the tower incredibly photogenic.
A stunning view from above that is simply mesmerizing! As a photographer, I advise you to set the time and get up to capture the sunset. The lift costs 600 rubles per person, children go up for free. I spent about 30 minutes upstairs, I couldn't tear myself away from the panorama of the city. I did not go to the restaurant, but the impressions of the view remained unforgettable.
The views are certainly beautiful. But the trip to the tower 5 years ago was not budget-friendly, but now it is generally so. Tickets for three adults and two children - 65 GEL (about 2300 RUB) - go up in a transparent elevator and walk along the observation deck. There is a bar and a restaurant. Last time we had lunch at a restaurant and there were a lot of people, the prices were more or less. And this year, only we and one sheikh with a companion😅 A glass of beer 0.33 15 lari is more than 500 rubles, any dish is not less than 30 lari. In general, we had a snack on a salad and paid about 180 lari - more than 6 tons of rubles. At current prices in Georgia, this is 2 full-fledged dinners for our whole family.
