Nice fishing town, great location, I advise you to go to the lighthouse. Do not ignore the locals, they sell all sorts of unnecessary trifles on the podium ( prayer beads from a prayer tree , backgammon dice , painted ceramic mugs ) There is a tiny cafe for two tables where they brew excellent coffee, the hostess is a sweet and shy woman )
A town for a quiet and leisurely vacation .
If you go to the observation deck, there lives a big and beautiful dog, take for him whatever he is insanely glad to see everyone)
The town is like a postcard from the Mediterranean)
Russian tourists on the Black Sea coast of Turkey are rare visitors, but my wife and I were lucky. We were in 2024, in September, we arrived at Astoria Grande. I really, really liked the place. A small resort town in a very beautiful bay, lots of fish restaurants. I climbed the lighthouse and drank authentic Turkish coffee at a local rock cafe with a colorful barista. Such a quiet Turkey, which we are not used to, but the meeting was all the more pleasant.
A pretty little port on the Black Sea. There is a fortress, a nice beach, and an interesting town. You can take a walk or sit on the beach in a restaurant.
It's a wonderful town. I recommend you to visit. The atmosphere, the views, everything deserves attention. The only thing I didn't like was a somewhat littered beach for such beauty. For Turks, this is a minus and a point of growth, the beaches of Sochi are an order of magnitude cleaner) for a relaxing holiday and walks - wonderful!
The port itself is small. The city is small, but I really liked it: a nice bay with a beach, a bazaar, a hotel - everything is close to the center. Cozy, calm, clean.
The port of the very charming town of Amasra.
The exit and entrance to the port is carried out without any problems. For the participants of the sea cruise, it is enough to show the on-board maps.
On the way from the port to the city center (300-400 meters), you can find a huge number of cafes and restaurants that prepare freshly caught fish and seafood.
Prices are very affordable compared to other cities in Turkey.
A gorgeous place! As they said on the ship, the port was built specifically for this liner (Astroia Grande). The place is very beautiful! There are cafes and restaurants, beautiful historical places. People are friendly, friendly! I highly recommend visiting, even if you are not on a liner, but will be nearby! Super! 5*
There is no excitement. It's cute. A small town. There's not much to see. The locals are hospitable, but you will have to explain yourself with gestures, the indigenous population speaks only their native language. I advise you to try the local cuisine. The menu has already been translated into Russian) mussels, fresh fish are good!
A beautiful tourist town, interesting old buns, a beach for four, it's interesting to stop by for a day or two, but in two days you will bypass every nook and cranny
It was very wonderful on this cruise, I really liked everything and the staff and animators, a special big human thank you, I recommend you all to relax your body and soul. We will definitely try to go with this team again on this beautiful Liner 🎉🔥
A small port, a small clean town, friendly people and magnificent nature, gorgeous views, the purest sea, greenery, flowers. Very beautiful. It will take half a day to get around))
A gorgeous Turkish city on the southern coast of the Black Sea! it is located between two bays, the views are amazing, there are many cafes, souvenir shops and just take a walk, look at the local beauty!
This is the most beautiful place. A cozy clean city, friendly, beautiful, wonderful people. Prices don 't bite . Be sure to visit. There are not many attractions in the city, but each one can be viewed a lot and for a long time.
A great Turkish island town. The weather made us happy on December 13th. There is enough space to walk, but of course it is better to go to a fish restaurant, there are many goodies for anyone to find a dish to their liking.
A small port town in Turkey. Very cozy and colorful. The residents are friendly. It is interesting to walk along the streets, go to the shops and buy delicious Turkish sweets and souvenirs.
It was the most interesting stop of our Cruise Ship
Quiet cozy streets, beach, kind smiling residents
I really liked the city, I wanted to stay there for a week
Perhaps we will come there in the future
There was one day. The town looks like a Greek one. We started the inspection in the morning from the seaport. The sea is clean, the nature is very beautiful. There are many small shops on the embankment, there are cafes. We went up the small narrow streets to the very top. We walked along the ancient stone bridge. We got to a shopping street where coffee, lukum, jewelry, household utensils, shoes and clothes are sold. They say that there are good wooden products here (boards, spoons, bowls, etc.). You can bargain everywhere.
A small provincial Turkish town. There is no service, the locals speak only their native Turkish, and if they say they can speak English, then you will not understand them) prices in restaurants like in Istanbul, the barabula is delicious) The sea was cold, but clean where the stones are, where the sandy beach is, the water is muddy from a bunch of vacationers. To take a break from the cruise and go for a swim is the best thing, but for more than 1 day I do not know what to do there)
A nice, small town, with the beauty of the sea and nature, the beaches are super, although the sea was cool in June, but we still swam. The places are gorgeous!
Amasra is a very beautiful city with a great history. Wrapped up in beautiful legends and myths. Narrow winding streets have patiently preserved traces of the Roman Empire and ancient Greece. Each building can be viewed for hours . The city itself is very small, you can walk in less than two hours. The city is located along the coastline and has a long embankment with a gorgeous beach. There are many different cafes and restaurants with national cuisine in the city, the main treat is freshly caught fish, there is also a whole street of stalls with various souvenirs.
He visited the town on a cruise on the liner Astoria Grande in January 2024. The town itself is nothing of itself, but the views are stunning and mesmerizing. I recommend visiting the fish restaurant, which is located five minutes from the port and ordering seafood. I've never eaten such squid in batter and shrimp melting in my mouth. I also recommend visiting the Bartyn district center, it is much more interesting with a beautiful pedestrian street
It would seem that the village is a village, but how beautiful it is and there are many locations for cool photos.
Get to the lighthouse and walk along the mountain. The town itself is also beautiful and very calm, without any fuss.
You don't even have to leave the ship to admire the beauty of Amasra. There are mountains, the sea, a lot of greenery around, but it's still worth a walk through this small and cozy town
Amasra is a very colorful city! Beautiful beaches, delicious food, beautiful views, reasonable prices, polite merchants! I want to come back! The city is a relaxation!
An authentic seaside town and very dusty. 1 hour walk is quite enough. The beach is dirty, some kind of husk is being chased by the wind. The sand is dirty. The staff on the beach only collects money and that's it. I lay there for 20 minutes and returned to the steamer.
Great fish restaurant!!! Fresh fish!! And a double whiskey, although it costs 400 rubles, but it's great!!! The shop with homemade sweets is just a bomb!!!
