I had a vacation in October 2024, alone.
I am very happy with the hotel, although I have read some negative reviews, but in my opinion they are not entirely realistic.
Rooms.
The rooms are very tired, I don't think this is the main thing. The plumbing is working, the electrics are working too. The only thing that really pissed me off was the air conditioner built into the wall, which blows directly onto the bed. In other words, you're lying in bed, and the wind is blowing in your face and there's no getting away from it. The next morning is guaranteed: throat, snot, cough and herpes. Who mounted it is a damned "genius ". How did you get out of the situation?! I turned off the air conditioner at night and opened the window, not to say that it refreshed the room much, but it's better than a cold.
Cleaning.
Every day, but very mediocre. They were spinning swans.
Towels were changed 1 time in 8 days. The only thing I have left in question is whether these towels and bed linen are washed in powder or just thrown into the washing machine and it all just spun in the water.
When I stopped by, the type of clean towels were all stained, which were perfectly washed with simple soap!!! When the towels were changed, the story was the same. There were stains and they could be washed off. Someone will say, how did you know that they were changed? But I easily understood. By the very spots that I spotted and remembered. There weren't any on the changed towels somewhere, where there were, but others. And one more thing - when you wash a thing, it smells like powder. And in the hotel, neither on the day of arrival nor afterwards - neither towels nor even bed linen had any smell at all. By the way, about the bed linen - on the day of arrival, I got confused - I checked the bed and threw some black hair off the sheet (I'm blonde). To be honest, at 3 a.m. I didn't really want to do swearing and find out something. So I just relaxed and scored. Because I can't prove all this, and I don't want to. If people in the hotel had picked up something, this information would have spread very quickly and we all knew about it. Word of mouth is working!
Meal.
I didn't go to lunch.
The breakfasts are normal.
The dinners are great.
I was well-fed and satisfied.
Among the disadvantages are sausages, sausages and cheeses like cotton wool. It's not very tasty. Even local cats don't eat them, and cats know a lot about food :):) :)
No poisoning has been detected.
Staff.
It's just something on an unreal level. Everyone is polite, smiling, regardless of whether you gave them a dollar or not. The dishes are brought and taken away instantly. Mohammed the bartender at the bar near the restaurant is a handsome man. Kind, pleasant. I even left him 5 bucks at the end of my trip. He's too much
customer-oriented. By the way, you need a life hack - if you have $ 100 in one bill and you need small money - do not skimp, buy a cocktail from Muhammad for $ 3 and he will bring change in dollars and small ones. Bartenders can always solve any issue.
The guests.
There are a lot of Italians and mostly Russian pensioners and families with children. If you are looking for a romantic dating, you are not here.
Beach.
The hotel is on line 2, there is a shuttle service to the Amforas Blue hotel, through which we go to the beach. I've never used it, how much do you have to be a lazy ass not to walk for an extra 10 minutes?! I walked.

I was from October 20 to October 29, there was a strong wind, and because of it strong waves, a red flag often hung, which means that you can not swim.

I still appreciate the opportunity to go to this hotel, but I will look at others now.
We visited this hotel for the third time in November. It's a shame that we arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock in the morning, the room was not ready. At the reception, the guy spent a long time and tediously extorting $ 70 for a room with a view of the pool, constantly called somewhere, as a result, they settled in by 3 a.m., dirty towels in the room, the floor was dirty, the tulle was stained, the shelf in the bathroom was hanging on one screw, even the water bottle in the room was open. The food is also worse, but only slightly. The sea is fine, we made a new pontoon. But...I don't want to return to this hotel anymore

Chapter No. 1. SETTLEMENT
We arrived at the hotel closer to one o'clock in the morning. The young man at the reception did not speak Russian.
He offered us to visit a restaurant, but we refused, because we really wanted to sleep. All the documents were processed and we were escorted to the room. The card failed to open the number and had to wait for this issue to be resolved. We waited for fifteen minutes and were given a regular key. The next day, the door lock was repaired. In principle, the issue was quickly resolved.
Chapter No.2. THE ROOM
We had a room in the main building. The room has been in need of renovation for a long time, the furniture is old. The plumbing is working. But in general, everything was fine. The room's balcony overlooks the pool and the restaurant. I liked that there is no animation and music in this pool. It's always quiet for the most part. The room has very good audibility from the hallway. Sometimes vacationers with children come back at night and it prevented them from sleeping normally. Practically nothing can be heard from the neighboring rooms. Cleaning was carried out every day. We were vacationing as a family of four. Only one 1.5 liter bottle of water was brought to the room. We didn't have enough. I applied to the reception for the first time and this issue was solved for 20 minutes (searching for a bottle of water). Later, we started to collect water in the cooler in the bar.
Chapter No. 3. NUTRITION.
Of course, there is a problem with nutrition. The menu is almost the same every day. But the main problem is meat. There is practically none. If the chicken is served, then it is very overcooked. It is the same with fish. In the evening, as a rule, there is a grill. But there's either fish (like our carp or crucian carp) or chicken. Lula kebab was grilled a couple of times. In general, you can find something to eat. Do not forget that this is a budget four (even the guide said so several times). There were melons, plums, and cool dates from fruits every day. We mostly ate melon. Desserts are monotonous, but generally normal. The only thing I don't understand is why tea and coffee are not in the restaurant, but on the summer veranda. Basically, everyone eats in the restaurant itself. If you go for tea or coffee, then you have to carry it all very carefully afterwards. There is also a snack bar near the pool with slides.
Chapter No. 4 POOLS AND THE BEACH.
The hotel has two swimming pools. One is deeper, more for a relaxing holiday. The second one has water slides. That's where the traffic is. Music, animation, and more. The slides work according to the schedule. There is enough time to ride. There are four lifeguards around the pool who really keep an eye on the vacationers. A couple of children helped me. But in any case, you need to look after your children yourself. There are enough sun beds for everyone. The beach is 800 meters from the hotel on the territory of the Amforma Blue Hotel. It can be reached on foot in 7-10 minutes. But the bus also runs according to the schedule. There are enough sun beds near the sea. There is also an alcohol bar and a snack bar that can be used. There is a pier on the beach and a shallow entrance to the sea. It is not suitable for small children. If you do not enter the sea from the pier, then the depth is up to your waist.
Chapter No. 5. THE BAR
The bar is the pain of all vacationers. Beer and spirits (except cocktails) are poured literally into glasses. You'll get tired of going to the bar. Mohammed, the bartender, works at the bar near the slides. Here is a really cool bartender who is focused on vacationers. The drinks are locally produced, but normal. My head doesn't hurt in the morning. Beer is poured from bottles.
Chapter No. 6. GENERAL IMPRESSION.
In general, the hotel corresponds to its price. There are positive and negative points (as everywhere). Would you come back again? 70\30. It depends on finances.
Very beautiful hotel, lots of greenery, 2 pools, 3 water slides. The rooms are comfortable, the service is good, the staff is responsive. Don't stay hungry, the food is varied. I was happy with my vacation.

We had a rest in August 2023. We arrived at the hotel at 23:20, sent for dinner, there was a "rolling ball" in the dining room, no bread, no food as such. I asked for a room not on the ground floor, I can't sleep with air conditioning, the reception staff pretended to be stupid, said come tomorrow there are no other rooms. In general, the reception there is terrible, communication is only through an interpreter, there was only one Russian-speaking employee, we had a room by the pool with slides, there was no balcony, there was a path under the window, so we lived with closed curtains. The room was normal, gels and shampoos were replenished, water was brought, cleaned every day, but the bed linen was not changed every day. When our lock broke, I ran to the reception three times, it was good that the window was badly closed, we climbed through it, magnetic card, the effect is zero. As a result, the boy who cleaned our place brought the key. But this was a plus, the card was inserted all the time and the air conditioner and refrigerator were constantly working.The food at the hotel is monotonous, even meager. In an a la carte restaurant, the same thing as in a restaurant is only a beautiful setting. Animation is not very boring. Simulators are on the street, and there are few of them. There are 4 water slides, they work according to schedule, the pool is warm. The food by the pool is a special sadness, it is not tasty, so there is also a huge queue, everything is very long, the locals climb without waiting in line. There are shops to the right and left of the hotel, but we went to the Mango Market. You have to go to the sea through the blu partner hotel, it takes 10 minutes to walk. There is an animation on the beach, a bar, and a lot of sun beds. As such, there is no gentle approach, the beach is on a cliff, the descent is cut down, you can walk along the cliff, watch the fish, but sometimes there are strong waves, there are large stones in the water. Another descent along the pontoon, the pontoon is short, rescuers are sitting there, the bathing area is fenced with buoys, the depth is great, on one side there is a beautiful reef, on the other a wall of blue water. The water is cold because of the current. We swam to the right to the neighboring beach, the reefs are all different, just a fairy tale, a variety of fish. Sometimes they don't let you go right behind the buoys along the reef, they whistle, there is a strong current. Basically, everyone is hanging on ropes, sometimes it's hard to get out of the water, they sit on the steps of the pontoon. We took excursions at the Dahab hotel (safari) did not like riding on quads along the highway, there is a terrible dump in the canyon, mountains of garbage, toilet without water, water for money, snorkeling in the reserve where nothing is visible, muddy water masks, fins for money.A boat trip with diving, swimming holding a circle with an instructor, there is no other way. The child liked diving, if you take it without diving, then the mask and fins are paid, it's better to take everything of your own. The water on the yacht was free and lunch was served.My son liked the dive, they take photos and videos, money can be transferred directly on the yacht and Wi-Fi will be distributed and you can transfer it to a Russian card. Photos immediately via whatsapp. The paradise island on this tour is *sadness*, you have to sail from the yacht holding on to the circle, and there are 15 people. The current is strong, ropes from yachts and huge boulders are stretched along the shore. The rest time there is 10 minutes and swim back. We liked the sightseeing tour of the Charm, visited the museum, the Peace Square, the oil shop, etc., the church. The guide was excellent. The departure from the hotel was about 15 hours, the bracelets were not cut after the eviction, it was possible to use the restaurant. The day before, we bought fresh at the bar where the reception was, there was no change from the bartender, he said to pay through the reception. I paid, but they forgot to mark it, they don't understand Russian, with the help of an interpreter I proved that I had paid, told them to check the cameras, as a result, they called the employee who accepted the payment and with grief they half achieved the truth. At the airport, they were not allowed to check in for a long time, waiting for the locals to pass. Checks many times. People had a preponderance, boxes of mangoes, A kind man allowed them to be stuffed into a suitcase and let them pass. They were allowed into the waiting room 10 minutes before boarding, and so they sat on chairs in a cafe, then on the floor. Among the advantages is the fabulous sea with a short pontoon and the proximity of the city, there is a water park next to the hotel. I was not impressed by the hotel.
If you want to relax, choose a different hotel!!!

A good hotel, we rested in it 2 times, in 2015 and 2023 the difference is felt in the food, more precisely in its variety and assortment. The first time they gave crabs and white fish in bechamel sauce, but this year they didn't. Basically, I liked everything: good service staff, helpful, especially the guys who cleaned the tables, they are very friendly, smiling. The only thing I didn't like was that when I arrived at the reception, one fat Arab, I don't remember his name, but many people have already written about him in reviews, he started to lure out an extra payment for rooms, but I immediately cut him off, nothing happened with the money, so he let's ask if I have chocolate. Where does he need chocolate, he's so fat that he won't fit into the doorway soon. There were 4 of us, we went for a walk somewhere every evening, Thank God, there was somewhere. I want to advise good shops with low prices to the right when leaving the hotel. You can buy everything at your side and not run anywhere. We were in the Mango market, and in the Fix price, and wherever we were ..., but we were convinced that the prices here are lower, and the pharmacy is also budget. And the most beautiful thing is, of course, the sea and a wonderful coral reef, where there are a lot of different fish. on the last day of our arrival we saw a MANTA RAY (stingray), it was the size of a sheet. It was SUPER. This is the second time we have seen such a large MANTA ray, right here. So everything was fine, we really enjoyed walking to the sea after a hearty breakfast. The food is good, no one will remain hungry. We rested from 26.08 to 06.09 there were a lot of Arabs, Italians.
The hotel is a solid four. Cozy territory, pleasant unobtrusive staff. Monotonous food. Alcohol is normal. The pool under the slide is warm, the rest are not heated. The beach is across the street. Not a bad live reef
We rested from 06.04.24 to 04/13.24 at the Amphora Aqua Hotel. You can use the Aqua and Blue territory, they don't let you into the Beach.
I'll start with a snack. We arrived at 10.00 a.m. We did not pay $30 for early check-in. The bracelet was put on immediately, the restaurant was allowed to use from 12.30. We left our things at the reception, went to Mango Market (15 minutes on foot, turn left from the hotel barrier, then follow the signs). At 12.00, we were already checked in at no extra charge. The fat Gamal receptionist (about whom there are a lot of negative reviews) has already been fired, so we did not meet with him. The room was offered 422, 1st floor, in the building where the reception is. There is a swimming pool and a restaurant nearby. We asked for a balcony and it was there, a view of the road (more precisely, there is no view, there is a concrete fence planted with greenery in front of us), cars drive at night they can be heard. It didn't matter to us, we stayed in it. The water is hot in the shower, the drain is working, there is a clothesline in the bathroom (for 4, of course, it is not enough), the room is purely Egyptian. Ie, everything worked out fine with the reception, all subsequent requests also went fine. It depends a lot on which shift is working. Rumboy Mohamed is very adequate, brought extra water to the room for a small fee. An additional 4th bed (full) was brought for $ 4 (when booking for 4 people, we booked 3 beds). There were 2 large towels for 4 people, 2 more were brought at our request, as well as 2 additional cups in the bathroom on request. There were no cups in the room. We had almost no mosquitoes (for which we loved our room 422 even more), the fumigator and Raptor pills (brought from home) helped, but other tourists (room 236) at night, the mosquitoes had a feast, they ordered the "treatment" of the room, it stank, but the mosquitoes disappeared. There are 3 sockets in the room, all are occupied by lighting fixtures, so the T-shirt was useful. The door to the balcony was not locked, but we found our advantages in this (we went through the balcony when the children were sleeping;). There was a safe in the room. They cleaned normally (we are not capricious, we left a dollar), and what a crocodile they rolled up from towels for us! We thought about it: which room would be better than ours? Perhaps in buildings 23-31, but not with a view of the pool (music all day), and so + is the same thing, because the hotel consists of many two-storey buildings, i.e. half of ALL rooms (in Blue also) is the 1st floor.
Natalia, a very pleasant Russian-speaking gastrelation, successfully solves all issues with the reception and simply advises on all issues.
The territory is green, well-groomed, smooth. The territory of the Blue Amphora seemed more comfortable to me, but not everyone agreed with me, and even there the territory is all covered with slides. There are 2 pools (and one in Blue), including a very shallow zone, and 4 medium-sized slides, but three worked first, then four. Children ride more, but sometimes adults. According to our company, the pool in the Aqua Amphora is definitely better than in Blue. There were always enough sun beds.
Sea: the road is 10 minutes, to the sea under the hill, back to the hill. Exit there behind the pool with slides, go left, almost to the T-shaped intersection, in front of it (on the right hand) is the entrance to the Amphora Blue hotel (the name is not visible at the entrance, but the building looms inside, on which the inscription Amphora is visible). On the way, at any barrier, they will tell you where the Blue Amphora is. Go through its territory to the beach. You can also take a bus in 2 minutes. There is a schedule, but we did not understand it. There is a short pontoon on the sea (slippers are not needed here), to the right of it is the entrance to the sea from the shore (in the morning and evening there is a waist-deep depth, at lunch knee-deep, there are some fish (if someone feeds them, then there are a lot), if desired, you can swim here with a mask, some they walk barefoot here, but preferably in slippers). There were always enough sun beds, at any time of the day. At sea, the wind, the current, there was often a red flag, rarely the flag hangs the same half a day, it is changed. It's bad that the hotel does not notify which flag is on the sea, i.e. to find out, you need to go there. Because this is Egypt. And it is impossible to arrange a call from the fight on the beach at the hotel reception. Either the boy won't call, or the reception won't hand it over. This is not Turkey.
The fight on the beach appeared at 8.30 (it should be at 8.00), it was not there before, i.e. the pontoon was closed before that. Security is well monitored. There are a lot of fish, they are beautiful.. A moray eel was seen right near the pontoon! I think she lives there. Once I saw a lionfish (deep). There is a shower on the beach, there is no toilet.
Contingent: mostly Italians, also Russians. 04/10/24 Eid al-Adha happened, many Arabs came. The attitude of the staff is normal to everyone, almost no one speaks Russian (fragments of phrases), they speak a little English. It has always been possible to come to an agreement (I know English at the 3rd grade level of the school).
Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, sometimes hanging. We bought a local SIM card at the airport, some kind of Orange for $ 8, because we went to Cairo. The Internet was enough for me and my daughter for 8 days.
Food. I must say right away: we are not moody. There is always a choice (fish, meat, and chicken of the same type, vegetables, pasta, potatoes, rice, fruits - goava, tangerines, oranges, dates, melon, physalis, bananas), but day after day the same thing, with slight changes. Without any special frills, everything is edible and delicious) The grill menu is prepared on the street to the left of the main entrance to the restaurant. There were always enough tables, sometimes there were no tables outside for dinner, but they were always indoors. But the cutlery had to be "mined" sometimes. There was no stuffiness either on the street or in the restaurant. At lunch, you can eat at the beach bar: burgers, pizza, French fries are quite nice.After the sea, the best seasoning for lunch is hunger). There is a queue for pizza and burgers on the beach. But near the pool with slides at lunch, everything is the same (but in the burger there is not a cutlet, but half a sausage), but without a queue. The children were glad when they found out. Before the evening show, there was a children's disco in Aqua (and Blue). It would be nice to leave information about the animation schedule somewhere: for example, aqua aerobics at 12.00 in the pool with slides, belly dancing at 15.30 at the beach bar, evening fire show at 21.00, etc., or you don't even guess about half of it.
In my opinion, at the reception you can sign up for a bus to Nabq Bay (going at 18.00).
Shops: we went to the nearest to the left of the hotel, as well as to the Mango market area. What I priced, what I bought- everything was cheaper here than in the Old Town. The hotel is not 4, somehow it can be stretched to 3 stars. Garbage is often lying on the territory, leftovers of food are floating in the pool, which are stolen by crows (they are near the pool and at sea, this is the first time I have encountered this). The room is terribly cleaned, hair all over the floor, dust, mold in the shower. Towels are all stained, beach towels smell very strongly of dampness and sweetness, if you run out of shampoo or gel, you can walk for several days and ask to replenish the stock.
I will not evaluate the animation group, because I have never been to animation evenings.
The food for 4 is just right, except for coffee!
