Good afternoon, everyone! When the cold weather came, I remembered our August vacation in Pitsunda at George's guest house. Among the advantages: the warm sea, a few tourists, the comfort and hospitality of George and all his employees ( for which I thank everyone very much) a market with fresh fruits, cheese and vegetables is five minutes from home and a very friendly (and just cute) dog Butch. We cooked ourselves, as we were disappointed in local cafes and canteens. In one seemingly very decent cafe, they ordered buckwheat, cutlet and cabbage salad - the buckwheat is dry, and the cutlet is a semi-finished product heated and all this for two without tea 760 rubles). After that, we decided to live on fruits, fast cooking and dumplings with dumplings. By the way, I really liked the dumplings with locally made cheese, I recommend it!
We went to rest on the beaches of the Pitsunda sanatorium either through the official entrance (100 rubles) or through a free path (there is a hole in the fence to the left of the entrance to the Sanatorium)). The only thing that made me sad was the abandoned buildings and sometimes unkempt squares overgrown with trees. The trees on the free path to the sea were also unkempt and, most importantly, sick, half-dried. I was hoping to see and walk the relict pine grove of Pitsunda, but there were only rare trees on the territory of the Sanatorium and those half-dead trees in the abandoned territory. How would you like the residents of Pitsunda to understand how important it is to save every tree and plant another one to replace the deceased, so that their native village would be green and blooming for many years to come🙏
In general, I consider Pitsunda an ideal place for a quiet and relaxing holiday.
In the guest house, my husband and I met people from different cities, communication with whom made the rest even better! There are those with whom I still communicate) and I hope that fate will bring us together again!

We had a rest in July 2024 at the Amra guest house. A cozy, quiet place.The kitchen is gorgeous, there is everything to the smallest detail. Cafes, restaurants and a market are nearby.George and his brothers left positive impressions. We were settled in advance. When we were arrested, we were asked to call a taxi, George's brother drove us in his car for free to the bus station, for which we thank him very much. Would I come back here again? Definitely yes. P. S. There is a kind dog in the yard and a cat in the backyard)

We were in this house from July 14 to July 25, 2024. We have the best and warmest memories from the city of Pitsunda and positive emotions about the AMRA guest house, in which we lived our entire vacation in comfort. I want to thank George and his entire team for the wonderful, warm, attentive attitude to all residents, for the impeccable cleanliness of the room, all furniture and bathroom are in perfect condition, the air conditioner is cold, the kitchen is in perfect order, everyone has their own shelf in the refrigerator, dishes and all accessories that are not there, in general everything is provided up to little things. Shops, cafes, bazaar, pharmacy are all within walking distance, to the sea at a calm pace of 15 minutes, the sea is the cleanest and most transparent in Pitsunda, and the dog Butch lives in this house, it's just a Cutie that you can't pass by Thank you for a comfortable stay, we are delighted and will definitely come back to you, you are the best

We had a rest at the end of June. Great host. The rooms are nice and clean. A refrigerator, a TV, a shower / toilet in the room for such a price is great. There is a great inexpensive store nearby, good cafes. Not far from the sea, but you will have to walk. The sea in Pitsunda is very clean. Compared to Sochi, there are few people.

We rested here in September 2023, delighted with the welcoming atmosphere! The owner of the guest house, Georgy, personally picked us up from Sochi, drove us around the city, showed us the main places (how to get to the beach, where cafes and shops are). In general, he and his team are very cool guys, they are always with guests, support evening gatherings, in which case they will tell you where it is better to take excursions, where to go and so on. The house has two verandas and a spacious kitchen, so all vacationers will have a place to gather to share their impressions of the excursions :)
The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, food storage and laundry.
You can also rent bicycles and take a ride to the store or the beach. In general, all conditions have been created for a comfortable stay.
It is a pity that there are guests who consider the hosts to be servants, and themselves to be kings and try to create conflict situations, as if they did not come to rest. It should be simpler, and it will be easier to live by yourself :)

Our first trip to Abkhazia and only for this reason 1 star, otherwise I would not have put any. We were with a small child, but they settled us under the very roof. There are cameras everywhere and the "hospitable host" keeps an eye on everyone. The sea is 600 meters away in the description, but of course. Even if you draw a line directly, it will be 1.5 km. Walking 4-5 km in one direction. My advice is obvious, look for another option!!!!

A great place to relax, I will definitely come here again. The sea can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. The guest house has everything you need. Everything is great in the room, shower, air conditioning. The hosts are very hospitable, they will help you with transfers and excursions.

I rested there in 2022 and 2023. I liked it-clean, the host is hospitable and the price is good! To the sea 20 minutes on foot, but it didn't bother us-sometimes we drove by car, and often the owners drove. On the way back, cafes, shops-you can just take a walk. The house is quiet and peaceful-I liked it, the atmosphere is pleasant. There is a barbecue in the yard, a huge table-it's nice to sit in the evenings. Maybe I'll go again)

We had a rest in July this year with friends at the Amra guest house. A very cozy house, 3 floors, now the 4th floor is being equipped. The third floor offers a beautiful view of the mountains. Each room has amenities, air conditioning, TV. A large kitchen, a living room, two areas under a canopy, one of them with a barbecue. There are also bicycles that you can ride for free.
It takes about 10-12 minutes to walk to the sea.
All the staff are very friendly. And despite the fact that we checked in late at night, the owner, George, met us. He is a very helpful and kind person. We all liked it very much and we will come here again!😊

Warm hospitality, order, the kitchen has everything you need, there is enough space in the refrigerator, there is an iron and a hairdryer on request, everything is clean, towels and linen were changed, everything is done for the residents! If possible, the owner carried out a transfer of vacationers to the beach. There is a transfer from the border! The rest turned out to be unforgettable! We were in Abkhazia for the first time. We did not regret that we chose Pitsunda as our place of stay. The streets are calm, quiet, and safe. The owner of the Amra guest house, Gosha, is kind, responsive, a little modest and, of course, like all residents of Abkhazia, a very hospitable person. Special thanks to his assistant Arina for the cleanliness and order throughout the house, as well as for her willingness to help at any moment.
We got a room on the third floor, which had one large bed and one small one, also had a shower and toilet. Special thanks for the air conditioning in each room and the shared kitchen. It is better to book rooms in advance, as it will be problematic to get from the "street", since there are almost no empty seats. But now the fourth floor is being built in the house, and, according to Gosha, it will be ready next year.
The guest house is located a 5-minute walk from the central market, 15-20 minutes from the beach, along the way there are several cafes and canteens where you can eat tasty and inexpensive food.
P.S. If you want to choose this guest house for the duration of your vacation, please bring Gosha a magnet from your homeland. He will be very pleased.

there are reviews below that the owner threw with the settlement and himself, as a person, does not really allow himself to yell at the guests. I see that nothing has changed in 7 years. In 2015, I booked at the booking office for a month, received confirmation and no longer steamed. The day before check-in, the owner wrote to me by mail, waited 12 hours, did not receive a response and settled other people in my room (apparently for a lot of money and past the booking commission), I saw the letter already at Adler station, waiting for the train to Gagry. I called and received rudeness and aggression from the owner on the phone, in his opinion I should have answered the mail (I was in the mountains and physically can't). Well, actually I started looking for another hotel. After 5 minutes, a woman called back, apologized and said that I would come, that everything was okay and the number was there. When I arrived, the owner met me, said that "I am an assistant prosecutor" and took me to another hotel, another kilometer further from the sea, unfinished, without gates and with construction debris in the yard. He said that this was "our second building", and told the booking office that I had not checked in. Booking refused to accept the complaint. As a result: divorce and rudeness

Everyone writes good reviews, but I want to write not very good ones. We stayed at this guest house in September. The first impression of the owner is that he is friendly and polite. But this is not the case. He's just a two-faced guy and a brute. If you do something that annoys him, he may yell at you or be rude, as happened to us. He shouted at us and scolded us for slamming doors and jumping in the room, even though we were adult women and lived very quietly. He ruined our mood in the first days of rest! And not only for us. Other couples also complained about his strange, "arrangements." He has a camera and a motion sensor installed in the shared kitchen. So, you have to walk there and cook Very quietly, it was annoying. After all, people come to rest, pay him money, and he behaves inappropriately and not tactfully. He's just a boor!! It was very unpleasant for us and we will not go back there. And we do not advise others. In general, I really liked Pitsunda, the sea is clean! If we go, we'll look for another place to live.

We rested at the Amra guest house from September 18 to October 2, 2021, with a friend. The owner of the guest house, Georgy, is simply Gosha, a sociable, creative, good-natured young man. This time the weather was rainy, and it was Gosha who diversified our vacation...with their stories, stories from life. Very interesting. Arina, the girl whose hands keep the guest house clean, is very young, responsive, with a bright soul and a smile, always ready to answer questions, as well as Gosha himself.Wonderful kitchen: beautiful dishes, everything you need.There is always honey from the owner on the table. The guest house is located three minutes from the market, you can go to the sea in different ways, we did not mark the time...But it is very pleasant to go through these paths:Everything is surrounded by the most gorgeous nature, intoxicating, clean air))) We recommend it!!!!

A friendly host, order and regime are maintained in the house (no one will bother you with their fun at night), the stated offer on the website has been fully confirmed, the owner's offer for free use of bicycles is especially pleasant (you can ride around the neighborhood with the whole family)! I was surprised by the treat (namely, the treat from the pure heart of the owner) with honey and bread. You need to be ready to use the shared kitchen (of course I read in books about communal kitchens), unusual sensations, but you can almost always negotiate with other visitors (there may be cunning people, of course, but the owner solves the issues). The kindness of the owner has no boundaries, which is actually what many people use: they bring cats from the city, which is why they stay, lured by visitors. Overall, a pleasant impression of the time spent in this guest house.

The company and I were in Abkhazia for the first time and I can say with confidence that we will return more than once to this Guest house! We have never seen such a warm welcome anywhere. The excellent attitude of the host George and the staff won our hearts! The house has all the conditions for guests and their comfortable stay, wonderful rooms with all amenities, beautiful courtyards with a barbecue area, a kitchen. Everything can be used, and if something is needed, the owner is always happy to help. George is very attentive to all his vacationers, shows and tells everything, manages to devote time to each guest, and this is very rare. Parking is behind a fence, a cow can rub against the car.The hotel is of the price-quality type.The price is not expensive, so the quality is appropriate.It's a long way to the sea.There is no park nearby.But there is a market nearby.If you need a park and the sea, look for housing closer to them.

Wonderful vacation in a wonderful place! I really liked everything! A hospitable host, kind and cheerful George, who will delight you every evening with interesting stories from his life! The rooms have a cozy atmosphere, on the ground floor there is a spacious kitchen and a summer courtyard where you can barbecue) The territory is guarded by a dog, very kind (although at first glance it does not seem so) There are also kittens there, which I constantly cuddled) Everything is very cool! It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach, we ate mostly in a "Yummy", inexpensive and really tasty) People are very kind and friendly) The beach is paid, admission is 30 rubles per person, the sea and the beach itself are clean, entertainment in the form of inflatable slides that descend into the sea, a banana that takes you to the sea and stops, allowing you to swim, cheesecakes, catamarans! In general, I liked everything very much! We recommend it!!!
