My experience of treating my Yulik at this clinic ended sadly with his death a month ago. Alexey Sergeevich is a doctor who is written about everywhere and speaks only positive things . And I believe that this is true, and he has brought many animals back to a full life. The clinic also has really good service and customer orientation. But still, there are other stories in this clinic and with this doctor when :
1. After the operation, knowing that this breed is at great risk, they return to you a cat that has not come out of anesthesia and does not hold its head, and they give it to you specifically just before closing.
2. We overdid it with the same anesthesia, because my Yulik did not come to his senses all the time and only lived until morning.
3. They don't warn you what to do in such cases and don't take your phone
. Knowing that there are no night vet clinics in the city.
4. Finally, they assume the right to make a cardiologist's conclusion without being a specialist in this field. If you want to check your heart with a real cardiologist, then definitely not in this clinic. Because a real cardiologist will definitely not give the go-ahead for a 5-minute paw X-ray with a horse dose of anesthesia, knowing that he will have surgery soon and he underwent surgery before that. And he will give such a dose of anesthesia during the operation itself, after which the animal will not come out of it.
That's why I'm writing this review. In order to remove blindness from the eyes when you have the best doctor in the city in front of you. After all, in such situations, you may miss an important moment that costs your close friend's life. I made this mistake, and I wish you to trust your heart and your eyes until the last moment, not just the professionalism of the doctor. And the doctor and the clinic should be fully responsible not only for the process in which they are professionals, but also for all the processes on which life depends.

Probably, every owner of a beloved animal knows how sometimes the moment separating our pets from trouble is short and accidental. That's what happened to us - the fun game of my dog, the Great Dane of Bordeaux "Vinci" and my grandchildren turned into an unfortunate fall.
At first, nothing foreshadowed anything bad.A slight limp was mistaken for a sprain. And only the increase in lameness every day and the obvious pain that the dog was experiencing indicated that the situation was still serious. Visits to veteran specialists have begun. The diagnoses were optimistic and did not inspire alarm. However, the dog was getting worse. After several unsuccessful attempts to figure out the diagnosis and start proper treatment, we went to Dr. Makovetsky. And only he was able to make the correct diagnosis of a ruptured cruciate ligament. I will not write much about my worries in preparation for the operation and describe its details. Many people will understand all the feelings, all the thoughts, when you are waiting at the door of the surgeon and his verdict.... I cannot express in words my great gratitude to Dr. Makovetsky and his wonderful assistant for the brilliantly done work.For the fact that after only a month, the dog's lameness almost disappeared. We are actively recovering, thanks to the skill and high professionalism of our surgeon. I cannot but note the very careful and sensitive, attentive attitude of all the staff of Dr. Makovetsky's clinic to their patients and their owners. You are doing a very right and necessary thing for us and for our pets!!! Thank you for literally putting our girl Taya, of the Cane Corso breed, on the paw! She began to limp on her hind leg.... We came from Pinsk to Brest to make an accurate diagnosis. First, we were examined, palpated, tested for drawer syndrome, and then X-rays were taken. The diagnosis was made - rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament, which is quite often observed in this breed. This problem can only be solved surgically, so the date of the operation was set. A week later, we were already operated on, the operation was performed using the TPLO method -osteotomy, leveling the slope of the tibial plateau using a compression plate. The operation is quite complicated, requiring precise knowledge and experience. Alexey Sergeevich explained everything clearly and in an accessible way, consulted about the postoperative period, and later on the rehabilitation itself! He was always in touch with us, you could call and talk about any issue! Which is very important for us, worried and nervous hosts) A year has passed since the operation, and we maintain relations, periodically send video and photo greetings! There are often various kinds of questions that Alexey Sergeevich always answers, simply and intelligibly! And I also want to appeal to the owners of large breed dogs- Molossians! Our main problem is TBS dysplasia... But this is not a verdict! Veterinary medicine has advanced very far in our country, so many pet health problems can be solved! The first signs of TBS dysplasia in dogs can be detected as early as three months!!! It is also possible to carry out orthopedic examinations of a puppy at the age of 4 months. and to predict with greater accuracy the probability of further development of dysplasia. With a significant risk of dysplasia, a puppy may undergo a mini-operation - juvenile pubic symphysiodesis, to prevent the development of TBS dysplasia. The earlier the problem is diagnosed, the more effective treatment can be carried out!!!
Do not delay and do not miss valuable time if you suddenly notice that your pet has become limping, sad, refused to eat... Don't self-medicate, run to the clinic!!! Vigilance has not harmed anyone yet!!!
