It is a very beautiful museum.
It was right next to the beach of our hotel! I was most impressed by the statue of Ataturk and the Pyramid with the Sphinx! I definitely recommend it to everyone who finds themselves in Lara in Antalya.
It's not worth the money. We were in December 2024. Half of the sculptures are closed, some are destroyed. There's almost nothing to look at. I do not recommend it. There are many other places where you will have fun for the same money
An interesting museum of sand figures dedicated to the cosmic theme. Some kind of mixed feeling rolls over, passing by the sculpture to Yuri Gagarin, pride for the great power - the USSR, and at the same time sadness ........
The museum itself is interesting, and the sculptures are quite impressive, but 10 bucks per person per visit is definitely not worth it. But there is quite a good city beach nearby.
It took an hour and a half to walk from the Ramada Lara.
The road is a separate story, all overgrown with bushes, and sometimes missing tiles, but it has nothing to do with the museum.
The exposition is generally interesting, dedicated to space. We watched the whole thing in 30 minutes.
The descriptions of the exhibits made with the help of Google translate deserve special mention. I think 150 liras is a bit high for such an exhibition.
They are not bad sculptures, but the wind constantly destroys them. The translation of signatures on the plaques of the sculptures into Russian and English was done using a computer and did not pass moderation, so it is quite strange, and sometimes completely stupid.
I visited without an excursion in the afternoon, yes, I was impressed, it was interesting, but you go to the desert, there is no other infrastructure besides this beach. It is quite far from the city center, about an hour and a half away by public transport. It's very hot, if you eat during the day, take more water and change. Well, or pay extra for water.
