Everything is great. Pleasant staff, convenient location - near the main attractions, the sea, the square, a bunch of cafes (here is a personal recommendation - Kebab House at the intersection of Denyush and Pidegi streets, there are relatively the lowest prices for all nearby, very tasty and large portions, and the owner (he is also a cook and waiter) is just a darling).
The room is relatively modest in size, the bathroom is quite cramped. Clean, daily cleaning. Of the additional advantages, a swimming pool and baths are included in the price (although not all baths are open every day), and there is a terrace with sea views upstairs. Breakfast is a buffet, you can eat a hearty and varied meal for every taste) on your birthday, they also brought a small cake with candles to the music and congratulated ;)
From the nuances: you can hear all the prayers
Excellent breakfasts, everything is fresh and varied enough. The hotel is small and pleasant, but a renovation in the bathroom would really not hurt, there is mold in the tile seams. The staff is pleasant, they clean every day, they don't know Russian, they communicate in English. They are very friendly and respond promptly to requests. The main sights of the old town are within walking distance, although we live near the Bosphorus, it's tedious to climb the mountain:) Overall, we are happy, we have been living here for 4 days, and there are 3 more to come.
The hotel is conveniently located in the historical center, as indicated in the description, the main attractions are within walking distance. The hotel itself is clean, tidy, courteous staff, delicious rich buffet breakfasts, a nice pool and a hammam (small, but in order to relax after a day of walking it is very important). On the top floor there is an outdoor terrace with tables and a beautiful view. The hotel left pleasant impressions for Samaya.
Hospitality is a distinctive feature of this hotel from others! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you, it is a pleasure to be here, despite the very small room with a view of the wall, which we were quite satisfied with, since the windows of the hotels in Istanbul's old city overlook more than 50% of the windows of the opposite hotel. Downstairs there is a hammam, a steam room, a Finnish sauna and a swimming pool. Everything is small, but a maximum of 5 people met there at the same time, although the hotel was full. It was nice to steam before going to bed. The hotel is very warm in January, everything that is possible is heated (floors, a coil in the bathroom). Many attractions are within walking distance.
The hotel left a mixed impression.. On the one hand, it is close to the center (1 km. to the hippodrome square) and on the shore of the Marmara Sea, clean, reasonable price, there is a hammam, friendly staff. On the other hand, at least cosmetic repairs are clearly required, the breakfasts are monotonous, and most rooms overlook neighboring buildings. The most unpleasant thing was that they were initially accommodated in some very cramped room with a shower covered with mold! We were moved to a normal room (corresponding to the photo) only after our indignation! In general, 3% corresponds..
We were in November, 7 days.
A small cozy hotel. The staff is very attentive and friendly. All requests are executed quickly. The breakfasts are delicious and varied. After a whole day of walking, it was very cool to lie in the hammam.
Thank you for a good rest.
I liked the hotel. Very attentive staff Guven and Onur and other guys. Excellent buffet, the choice of food is very large. The spa at the hotel is a huge plus. The hotel has an outdoor terrace overlooking the Marmara Sea. The location is very convenient, everything is nearby.
A pleasant hotel for a city holiday! Friendly staff, explain everything, politely and sincerely. Upon check-in, they were treated to drinks, the room was given a nice and clean one. The most interesting feature is the terrace overlooking the Marmara Sea! It is very pleasant to sit there in the evening and drink wine after a long day of walking.
We didn't use the pool and sauna, but we looked in - everything looks good!
The breakfasts are similar, but everything is delicious and fresh, we had enough))
Thank you for your hospitality!
A cozy, spacious hotel for family or personal holidays in Istanbul, plus there is also a sauna and a cafe-garden in the courtyard. The main advantage is the proximity to the historical center of Istanbul, within walking distance of 15 minutes, saving on taxi.
The location is great! Near the old town. The staff is very friendly and always happy to help with everything! The service and rooms are also good. The food is quite monotonous, but quite tasty. I recommend
The hotel is not bad. Beautiful. The rooms are ordinary. Water, tea, coffee every day. The area is calm. The tram and the Blue Mosque are a 15-minute walk away. There is a view of the Marmara Sea from the terrace. Breakfast is varied, salads are not very tasty. After 30 thousand steps through the hills of Istanbul, a hammam and a swimming pool were saved. The staff is very helpful.
I liked the hotel. There is a swimming pool, sauna, hammam and another steam bath. There are towels and slippers by the pool. The rooms are spacious, we had a 4-bed with a view of the park (right next to the hotel). If you take the elevator to the observation deck, you can see the sea and it is very beautiful to meet the sunsets.
The breakfasts are not very varied, but delicious. There is room service (from a cafe around the corner).
Bus 19 stops right at the entrance to the hotel. Within walking distance of markets, mosques, a large Gulhane park, which ends with a cafe overlooking the Bosphorus. Within walking distance (10 minutes) there is a tram stop that will take you across the Galata Bridge to another part of the city in 15 minutes. You can pay with a card at the entrance.
They were in early February 2024. The location of the hotel in the historical part of the city allows you to reach the main attractions of Istanbul and the promenade on foot. The breakfasts are good, quite sufficient. The hotel is not new, but cozy, for some reason it reminded me of "old European hotels with a history.".. Four floors, a small elevator, a terrace with a wonderful view of the sea and another on the ground floor, a gym, a spa and a small heated pool. At first, the "interior details" that require updating are a little confusing, but this is not the main thing and the hotel is not 5*. Cleanly. The room has a refrigerator, a safe, bathroom amenities, water, tea, coffee and a kettle. Everything is replenished if necessary. The staff is friendly, helpful, attentive. Calm, pleasant, relaxing music was played at breakfast and in the pool. Communication with the staff in English or "pantomime". Do not rush to change the room, if you do not like something, the staff tries to please. There is a small park with a fountain in front of the hotel, but the place is quite calm. The mullah started singing at 6.40, but he didn't need an alarm clock. As a result, we realized that we were very satisfied with the hotel.Daily sunrises and sunsets on the terrace, pleasant relaxation in the spa and pool after long walks have replaced "all luxury" for us!! A nice bonus is that one block away from the sea there is a small square, near a minimarket with adequate prices, a pharmacy with Russian-speaking pharmacists and a whole street of wholesalers of children's goods.
The hotel is not new, but the service is good, the staff is very pleasant and polite, clean, no insects were encountered, the whole hotel has the aroma of diffusers. The breakfasts are good, there is something to choose from: porridge, lentil soup, eggs of 4 types of preparation, cheeses of 5 kinds, vegetables of about 10 positions to choose from, teas, coffee, juices, sauces, very tasty eggplant, pasta of various types.
We spent five unforgettable days in Istanbul. We lived in this hotel. The breakfasts are decent, the staff is wonderful! But the hotel's spa leaves much to be desired. The smell of sewage is creepy. I'll bet 5* anyway. Thanks a lot to the staff! You are the best!
It's a nice hotel, but it's not new anymore. Cleaning every day. The breakfast is delicious. There is a small swimming pool, sauna and hammam. It's a long way from the subway.
A good hotel, although not new, but very cozy, the rooms are cleaned every day, the administration, the reception are the most friendly and cool. Great view from the rooftop cafe to the Marmara Sea, there are many cafes nearby, markets are within walking distance.
Great location and friendly service, but the pool is terrible, no one swims in it, the boards are rotten, the water is muddy, the bottom is not visible. Well, breakfast, I didn't have enough good coffee, maybe good cakes or delicious fish, you won't stay hungry and there were fruits, but...
Nice hotel. Of course, there are shortcomings in the repair. But being in Istanbul, having seen all the beauties. When you come to the hotel, you don't notice anything wrong. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly. All attractions are within walking distance. There is a great fish market nearby. Where you can choose any fish or seafood delicacy and in the nearest cafe for 300 rubles they will cook everything for you!
I really didn't like everything! It's old and it stinks, and the food for breakfast is bad. There was only one plus, a balcony in the room with a table, but this is an expensive room, and if you take the usual one, then the view from it is into the wall. There is a terrace on the roof where you can sit.
Nice hotel. A good breakfast buffet. Interesting entourage in the room. And in the whole hotel . There is a conductor, a small refrigerator. Not everything is good with TV - two or three Russian-language channels out of a hundred. And some muddy ones. In general, it is clean and comfortable, cozy. Friendly staff. For overnight stays in Istanbul while sightseeing during the day, it will do.
The location is convenient if you come for the first time and plan to visit all the sights. The staff is polite, the breakfasts are delicious. Cons - tired rooms
The hotel is very hard to find if you eat by public transport. The hotel is very tired, the rooms are small and very good audibility, the SPA did not like it, the pool is small, the cleaning of the SPA area is bad, the doors to the hammam creak very much, there is no opportunity to drink tea. The windows of the room faced the road and at night it was very noisy from cars.
But there are also good points. The hotel has excellent staff, very friendly people. Good breakfast. I was pleased with the pleasant music.
A wonderful hotel, we stayed there twice for the May holidays, located within walking distance from the famous places of Istanbul, a beautiful terrace on the roof and on the 1st floor; friendly staff, delicious varied breakfast, daily cleaning. There is a swimming pool and a spa. We will definitely come here more than once!
The breakfasts are monotonous, the meat is tasteless sausage, cutlets with rice, the rest is the same every day. Cheese lovers will be happy -there is an abundance of choice .
The juices are so-so
Coffee is not very good
From a cappuccino machine as from a 3 b1 sachet
The pool is like a Puddle 2*4 meters
The room for two is standard - sideways, cramped, seagulls and crows are constantly screaming.
The staff is polite 5+
We will come again -no, for sure!
She stayed at the hotel in February 2023 for a week. Very comfortable. The room has central heating, underfloor heating in the bathroom.., plumbing is as new, everything is working properly ..., the mattress of the bed is very comfortable, the blanket is cozy and warm.., bed linen is 100% cotton , soft.. cleaning every day.. the breakfasts are excellent.., the staff is attentive.. the location is convenient ,- 5 minutes walk to the tram line .., 8 minutes and you are in the center .., 2 minutes, - and here is the embankment.. The room is small but comfortable..,- slippers, bathrobes, towels.. shampoo, hair balm, shower gel ..tea , coffee, bottled water ..
in the evening (starting at 10 a.m.), relax well in the sauna .., a pool with warm water..
I sincerely recommend this hotel
A good hotel with smiling staff, rooms were cleaned every day, all the staff is good-natured and tries to help you, even if you try to explain to them in broken English, especially the guy with glasses even used a translator to understand me. The breakfasts are delicious, but on the 6th day the omelet was already having nightmares, I would like a variety. And another moment confused me. One of the hotel staff (I don't remember his name) upon arrival, he began to show me and my mother wet signs of attention, but when he was refused, he immediately forgot about our existence (fortunately) and liked everything so much 😊
The hotel is not bad, it is not new, the furniture needs repair in some places, but everything is clean. The location of the hotel is great, close to many attractions. I especially want to mention the work of the staff, the guys are just trying to please, above all praise.
We were from September 11-16, the hotel is friendly, with a spa (hammam, sauna, small pool) in order for the hammam to work, you need to ask the administrator to turn it on. The staff is English-speaking, only welcome words in Russian. But Yandex translator helped out 👍 Breakfast is good- yogurt, walnuts, 4 types of fruits (plum, nectarine, pear, apple) boiled egg, scramble, cheeses ... you won't stay hungry;). On the top there is a terrace with tables, chairs and beautiful views) St. Sophia, the blue mosque are just around the corner, next to the hotel there is a park with a fountain and a restaurant and a circle of cafes for every taste!)
The old hotel. It needs repair. A disgusting breakfast with coffee like 3 in one, albeit from a coffee machine. When checking in, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom of the room - we were shocked by this… I do not recommend it.
We had a rest in February 2023. The rooms were cool, so dress warmly in the cold season. A good breakfast, there was plenty to choose from. The staff is very, very friendly and helpful, speaking perfect English. The Wi-fi was working stably.
A lovely hotel in the old town. Convenient location- Hippodrome Square is a 10-minute walk away, a terrace with sea views, a swimming pool with a hammam and delicious breakfasts.
Clear
Comfortably
You can smoke on the roof
If you know English as much as possible)
Great view
Tip the maids 100 liras a day, the cleanliness will be perfect.
To be honest, it could have been better for 4 stars. WiFi works very poorly. All the reviews praised the breakfasts, the breakfasts are absolutely mediocre. Well, at least there was something to eat at all. The rooms are much smaller than in the photo. And there is a feeling of dirt, although everything seems to be washed.
Good location, large room, terrace, interesting view. But! The hotel is very "uchstavshy". Everything is broken, worn. The shower is flowing, etc. It's unpleasant.
Not ice at all. food is only breakfast, there is no Russian television, the Internet is dying.the only thing that pleased me was cleaning every day.I am only satisfied with the fact that we were passing through and stayed for 3 days
