This is a completely unusual and soulful place where we could have a great rest in the coolness of the courtyard garden in the city center, and around 35 degrees.
The cordiality and hospitality of the hosts of Aziza and her sister and assistants made the stay pleasant and calm, and delicious breakfasts allowed you not to worry about food for a long time when traveling around beautiful Samarkand.
It was very convenient that everything was nearby - the whole old town around our apartment.
Be sure to visit the main market and taste pilaf and hot samsa there - lick your fingers! And what an exotic thing.
And in general, everything is cool there, the people of Samarkand are different and very friendly, there are many nationalities and there is not a shadow of a bad attitude towards us.
We also drove to Bukhara one day. It's a little hard 4 hours there and 4 back, but it's worth it. You can't get tickets for a high-speed train, we tried it from home, and then in Samarkand, but no.
It's been a long time since we've had so much pleasure from a short three-day trip.
And the cities are older than any of ours for many centuries, and the unusual and delicious food and the attitude of local people.
We recommend it!
A guest house in the center of Samarkand. A former apartment building. Very nice managers. Wi-fi is available, good. Very tasty breakfasts. Diverse. The owners live there too. The rooms are different, decorated in a national style. Antiques are on display. There are air conditioners, they work. But the building is old, it was not needed. Apricots were picked up in the kindergarten. All the sights and the market are within walking distance. Like it.
A wonderful family hotel with very good-natured and hospitable hostesses in an Oriental way. The place is located in the city center, there is Parking, all the sights are at hand. The rooms are clean, cozy, large enough, tea on arrival, a great breakfast, incomparably delicious jams that you can buy and savor the taste of Central Asia at home! By the way, guests from all over the world! Thank you, hostess!
