This is a completely unusual and soulful place where we could have a great rest in the coolness of the courtyard garden in the city center, and around 35 degrees.
The cordiality and hospitality of the hosts of Aziza and her sister and assistants made the stay pleasant and calm, and delicious breakfasts allowed you not to worry about food for a long time when traveling around beautiful Samarkand.
It was very convenient that everything was nearby - the whole old town around our apartment.
Be sure to visit the main market and taste pilaf and hot samsa there - lick your fingers! And what an exotic thing.
And in general, everything is cool there, the people of Samarkand are different and very friendly, there are many nationalities and there is not a shadow of a bad attitude towards us.
We also drove to Bukhara one day. It's a little hard 4 hours there and 4 back, but it's worth it. You can't get tickets for a high-speed train, we tried it from home, and then in Samarkand, but no.
It's been a long time since we've had so much pleasure from a short three-day trip.
And the cities are older than any of ours for many centuries, and the unusual and delicious food and the attitude of local people.
We recommend it!
A guest house in the center of Samarkand. A former apartment building. Very nice managers. Wi-fi is available, good. Very tasty breakfasts. Diverse. The owners live there too. The rooms are different, decorated in a national style. Antiques are on display. There are air conditioners, they work. But the building is old, it was not needed. Apricots were picked up in the kindergarten. All the sights and the market are within walking distance. Like it.
A wonderful family hotel with very good-natured and hospitable hostesses in an Oriental way. The place is located in the city center, there is Parking, all the sights are at hand. The rooms are clean, cozy, large enough, tea on arrival, a great breakfast, incomparably delicious jams that you can buy and savor the taste of Central Asia at home! By the way, guests from all over the world! Thank you, hostess!
When we were choosing a place where we could stay in Samarkand for a couple of days, we (in addition to the beautiful location) were hooked by photographs and reviews left by previous
travelers. But what we saw and felt in reality completely amazed us. Samarkand owes its warmth and cordiality to such wonderful people as Aziza and the whole large family of descendants of the "Moscow" merchant. You are all incredible, wonderful and very positive! Our memory of our stay in Samarkand preserves not only impressions of the glorious pages of its history and amazing monuments of antiquity, but, above all, about those people thanks to whom we felt the friendly atmosphere of the ancient city. This is exactly the place where I really want to return. Dear Aziza, peace and prosperity to all of you! Nikolai, Anastasia and Stepan.
The best place for our entire trip to Uzbekistan. A beautiful garden, large authentic rooms with a local interior, chic breakfasts for every taste and incredible housewives who are ready to help and make your stay even more comfortable. I will recommend this heavenly place to all my friends and acquaintances.
I really liked it. The hostess is friendly. Very attentive and kind people work here. The breakfasts are delicious. I advise you to go there. You can have tea in the garden. Very beautiful.
Everything is great. The hotel is a center of education, culture and humanism! I state by the example of this hotel: you can achieve a high spiritual level by doing business!
