If a person appreciates history or vintage at least a little, he will not leave without a purchase. Subject to the availability of money, of course. If a person doesn't have money, why would he go to a store of connoisseurs of the past? Nearby there are places for connoisseurs of coffee and beer, as well as bread pastries, poor visitors who go home from work are always welcome there. I come in sometimes.
As for the taciturnity of the owner of the antique shop, ask questions and you will always get an adequate answer.
I would recommend that village people do not enter this shop-there is nothing interesting for you there.
