We brought lunch to this place when we went on an excursion. The view of the river is beautiful, of course, but everything else that relates to the cafe is in terrible shape and condition.
The food was normal, we ordered shish kebab, khachapuri and vegetable salad, the tea was delicious. The waitress served us terribly, as if we had come to her house at the wrong time and were doing us a favor. The bill also includes a service of + 10%, which is not very pleasant to pay for such a thing.
So she also deceived us, when paying the bill, she decided to add 100 rubles for each salad, there were 4 of us, and that's 400 rubles. The menu has a completely different price, but hers is the same, she told us that they had changed the price, but she never warned us at all. I probably thought we wouldn't notice when paying. When we dealt with her, in the end she said : "Yes, take your 400r, I'm still arguing with you." Of course, thank you for giving us our money back. I think we're not the only ones who get extra pay.if you happen to be there, I advise you to look at the bill carefully .
We were walking from the parking lot of the Ritz, we were caught in the rain, so this cafe seemed like an oasis with a warm campfire. But there is nothing to eat, it is expensive and not tasty, although the order was brought quickly
We also rented a house there for the night for 4000. Considering that we planned to spend the night in a tent, it's normal. There is hot water with good pressure, clean linen, a kettle. But the mattresses are disgusting, but this is a common problem in Abkhazia.
A normal place, a good view of the river and the forest. convenient Parking. Sooooooo polite and pleasant staff. And now the cons, the toilets are terrible, it stinks dark and wet. It's scary to get to this place, the road is very narrow and it's not easy for a couple of (non-local) cars to leave. Stalin's cottage is nearby (paid) Oh yes, there is a cool feature at the cafe, you can catch trout yourself (for a fee) in their mini pool, and they will cook it for you right away. We caught it, but unfortunately they did not finish cooking it and brought it raw, gave it to be finished, overcooked :-) Otherwise a pleasant place.
We were in a cafe on 08/26/24. We were brought to this "wonderful" institution from an excursion. We took khachapur tea and coffee.
Khachapur turned out to be just a healthy piece of dough, where there was almost no cheese filling - the cost of a piece of bread with a spit of cheese was 600 rubles.
Next, a wonderful cappuccino. A bag of 3in1 nescafe, when they brought it, they did not even stir the soluble powder until the end - the cost is 100 rubles. There would be no questions about the price if they had honestly written "3in1 coffee" and not cappuccino.
A teapot of not very tasty black tea costs 500 rubles, the menu says that you can buy a cup for 100, but alas, you never know what is written, in fact "only a whole teapot is served"
In fact, the place is tasteless, dirty, the appliances are not very clean and fresh. The toilet is just dark, don't even come close, the smell already hits your nose at a distance of 3 meters.
There would be no questions about the prices if it was really delicious, but in fact it feels like I ate garbage.
WE'VE BEEN POISONED! For two days they suffered from terrible poisoning in the room. I became ill immediately after visiting this place.
The guide brought it when we were on a tour to the Ritz. There was no choice. The place is beautiful, but you need to be able to ruin such a view. We wanted to try Abkhazian dishes, ordered an Abkhazian set and meat in Abkhazian style. The food is tasteless! Meat is solid fat.
The toilet is a separate kind of hell. I don't understand how this can be next to food. Flies fly, which land on food.
The service is terrible. They talked to us "on the fuck off."
Two hours after such a lunch, it became very bad, at first they thought they were seasick, but then they realized that they were not. If you don't want to spend your vacation hugging a white friend, then avoid this place!
It's a disgusting place. I would never have come here in my life if the driver from the jeep tour hadn't brought me. And now the thesis: 1. From the very threshold you realize that you are in a dining room with huge tables and benches. There is noise and uproar all around. It's just uncomfortable to be. 2. Food at the level of a mediocre cafe, where you just stuff your belly with something you don't understand, and don't try the wonderful Abkhazian cuisine. 3. Prices are 30 percent higher. Portions are smaller and the quality is below average. 4. Check the receipts and fight for your change. There is often no change and they "will owe you until next time." Just like at the stall, right? 5. The toilet. The toilet is a branch of hell on planet earth. A smelly hole in the floor. In principle, this is enough to understand the attitude towards their guests. For the second time, the driver will take me to a hotel, and not to eat in such an institution!
Great place! We stopped for lunch after the entrance to the Alpine meadows. Very friendly staff, delicious food! I recommend you to visit, you will not regret it
Delicious, soulful. They even let us into the kitchen to see how national dishes are cooked over a campfire. I recommend the Abkhazian set, tangerine juice mmm...
Positive: a beautiful place and a large parking lot
Cons: food quality, prices, service
The prices for the dishes are overpriced +10% for the service right on the menu
We took an Abkhazian set (my husband wanted to try the national dish... I was very disappointed), khinkali (turned out to be super spicy, they didn't even warn me), noodles (the only edible thing, but not a fountain).
More touches to the portrait of the place - chanson was playing all the time (not French)
Tourists have nowhere to go, they will probably be taken here: drivers are fed for free for bringing tourists.
Who is on their own - it is better to look for a place with a normal price-quality ratio
A pleasant atmospheric place, the service and the kitchen are normal. I really liked the homemade wine and fried trout. They cook on a bonfire in the middle of the hall, in cold weather you can perfectly warm up near a live fire.
A beautiful place on the riverbank, atmospheric. The food leaves much to be desired.... meat in Abkhazian is much worse than it was taken in Gagra restaurants: fatty pieces, no tortillas. There are a lot of bones in the fish in the ear...
One of the advantages is delicious inexpensive cheap wine.
The fastest service in the wild West) blinked once - the first one is on the table, blinked twice and already a trout kebab, three alcohol steamed up. Everything is very tasty! The meat of the Abkhazian is a reference! Shish kebab melts, eggplant is spicy)
We ate fast and standing up))) If you are afraid of the OS, then you will not like it)) My daughter managed to eat her soup, and ran into the car. My husband ate meat in Abkhazian - it was very tasty. I had to wait for the shish kebab, and all this time we were running away from the wasps) We brought the shish kebab - we quickly threw it into ourselves (delicious!) and they ran away)
The place is geographically wonderful, but the staff is disgusting, 2 black-haired ladies think that everyone owes them and communicate very provocatively with visitors, it would be better to visit the restaurant (cafe) on the other side, where the catamarans are.
a very interesting place, located right behind the Ritz. everything is fast, delicious, and most importantly safe. glue - oriented staff . the owner of the establishment Hasik will always find a place for the visitor and feed him
It's a great cafe, everything is very tasty.
I advise you to visit, because this cafe is located at an altitude of about 1400 meters above sea level, new taste sensations for familiar things open up👍
Nice polite staff.
One star for the location, because apart from a good location where this institution is located, I do not see any advantages. The prices are high, but this fact can be accepted referring to the good cuisine. But even here there is a mistake, the kitchen is stupid and tasteless, I will not go through the ordered items because they ordered quite a lot. In addition to the above, we were surprised by the 10% included in the service receipt, some nonsense or the owner is unable to pay employees salaries. There is no choice not to tip the waiters to amateurs for poor service).
This institution exists solely because of the drivers of sightseeing vehicles who take tourists to this eatery.
We had lunch here as a group (the guide brought us, saying that this is the best place to have a snack - I must say right away - a very controversial statement)
If the thesis is a poor canteen with a snack bar for a restaurant, and the only snack bar is the prices, nothing else corresponds to the restaurant
On food: the choice is quite meager, my wife and I took pilaf (you can eat hungry), solyanka (more or less), wine (rare swill) and achapa (it was delicious)
Service: generally (!!!) I don't understand what the 10 percent fee is for. I'm not sorry, and even more so if the service is super, but in our case they came only for the first time to take an order, they forgot the hodgepodge for my wife and brought it only after we got up from the table and looked for the staff. Provided that the company was 7 people and each took 2 dishes, the dirty plates were not taken away, they lay there until the end of the meal, until they got up from the table, and the satisfied ofics sat at the same table, laughed and shared some money.
As for me, I should be paid for such service, not me
Prices are Moscow - pilaf 500, soups 450, khachapur 650, wine 400 per liter - but it is impossible to drink
The toilet is a hole in the floor - it's certainly strong!!
Of the advantages of the place, I'll note the location, it's nice to eat with a view of the mountain river. That's probably all
Bottom line - if you are very, sooooo hungry, then of course you can eat, but if there is another option, I would advise you to use it
Kharcho is a cannon, I do not recommend khinkali, at least so far this position is purchased. According to the waitress, the kitchen prepares kharcho, they buy khinkali. Smoked meat in a frying pan is dry, trout without salt. I strongly recommend eating Kharcho!
Who wants to eat food of the level, pay for it is unclear why you are welcome, and it is not advisable to go to the toilet at all. Plus the location. 10 % maintenance
For zero maintenance.
The place is excellent service and maintenance for 3 may not bring what you ordered or the barbecue will be too salty that it will be impossible to eat, and you can not wait for the boat because it takes a long time to cook.
Apart from the beautiful place, there are no advantages. Expensive, not tasty, very scarce. The children did not eat anything except khachapuri, although they are very fond of soups and other food. But in the soup there were only a couple of pieces of potatoes, 4 pieces of carrots and a small piece of fish, and that's it, and the broth itself is not delicious. It's a pity we didn't look at the reviews in advance, and the Internet doesn't work there, only Wi-Fi in cafes.
I highly do not recommend visiting this cafe. The food is very expensive, for a plate of vegetables (cucumber, tomato, greens) - 500 rubles. They also charge 10% of the order for service, which in fact simply does not exist. The waitress girls behave disgustingly, they were sitting at the next table, laughing loudly, making each other look beautiful, and they completely forgot about customer service. The quality of the food is also disgusting, there is no bread! We ordered tangerine juice, it is not possible to drink, water with tangerine scraps. The portions are very small. Trout is literally the size of a palm, there is nothing to eat. We wanted to see the manager, but we were told that he was asleep and could not come out to us (it was at 11 o'clock in the afternoon). I put one only for the beautiful view of the mountain river.
The food is fine, but the price tag is not childish, it's the case when they talk about hospitality, but in fact they just charge money. Quite unpleasant, to be honest
Khinkali is great, there are a lot of people, but still everyone has time to bring everything, clean it up, a lot of wasps that climb right into sweet drinks
The portions are large, but the taste is questionable. We ordered khachapur, it turned out to be a little dry, tangerine juice is the most disgusting thing I've tried. He was wildly bitter, apparently he stood for a very long time.
I was only pleased with suluguni with tomatoes
Tasteless, expensive, no service, but they charge 10% for it. We made a comment about the hinkals, to which the waitress replied to us: "You'll make it tastier at home."
The place is certainly impressive, with the beauty of nature. It's a little hard to assess the catering. Of course, the staff is not customer-oriented at all, well, this is understandable, ordinary people do not come here, they only bring excursions.
The most disgusting institution in Abkhazia. But, unfortunately, it will live forever, as the guides bring the tour groups of Lake Ritsa there for lunch. The food is expensive and tasteless. Plus, they charge 10% for the service. We were also brought there by a guide, of course I did not read reviews about the institution. In general, it was not worth staying there to eat something. Waitresses, as I understand it, just live on these 10%, since they have a strict queue in table service and, instead of serving more quickly, they constantly find out among themselves who will go next to take the order. Tin.
Good location, reasonable prices. I recommend shish kebab, fish and khinkali. There is a lot of space, there is a common cafe in some places. The toilet and where to wash your hands are all there.
We visited this place on the recommendation of the guide who brought us here. It is only in a state of incredible hunger that this institution is worth visiting. The food is tasteless: khachapur for 600 rubles pulls 200 (they took it out ready in 3 minutes, it felt like it was in the refrigerator for several days), the pilaf is very dry, and there are only greens and cilantro in khinkali.
In addition to food, there are big questions about the service (for which 10% is automatically charged). We were greeted by a boorish waitress who behaved very cheekily. She sat down at the table with us and talked to us practically on your own.
We highly do not recommend this place, it is better to eat at any cafe near the Ritz!
It's expensive, the waitress Alina was very unhappy that they didn't order enough, even more unhappy that we had a 5k bill, no change, and then that money was transferred to her card for a long time.

It is better to go to almost any coastal cafe.
We were on a tour at Lake Ritsa. We brought our minibus to this institution and began to talk about the tables. There were not enough tables for everyone, tables for 4-5 people began to fill up, it felt like you were traveling in a crowded minibus. The waiter came to some tables immediately, but only 15 minutes later, and then after a reminder. We made an order, attached a photo of the menu, the prices are above average. And they waited, after 20 minutes of waiting, the waiter did not deign to come. I had to contact our guide and only after that the dishes were brought. The waiter made a wrong calculation for one table. The older man, perhaps the head of this institution, began to shout at his waiters, to sort things out. The only question is, why do this in front of visitors and spoil their mood?! (it will remain rhetorical). There is a washbasin with water, a "country" toilet.
As a result, we spent about 1 hour or even more on this whole nightmare.
Payment is only in cash or by transfer, about paying by card at the lake. No one heard Ritz.
As a result: people come to the cafe to spend money, and as a result, they have to ask, wait a long time, swear with the waiters to get their order and relax in peace. I highly do not recommend this institution.
June 1, 2023. Khachapuri for 600 rubles has not been eaten anywhere yet, and it was not on the menu, the waitress offered instead of bread. Pilaf???? This is not pilaf, but rice with spices. The child called rice porridge(450₽) , but there is + now my pilaf against this background is the tastiest pilaf in the world. Mountain tea 500₽. The kebab was eaten with pleasure at a more or less decent price. General impressions: Unreasonably expensive, some dishes are not tasty, the landscape is beautiful, the staff seems to be polite (she was with us)
I really liked the cafe. The most delicious pork kebab that we tried in Abkhazia, an ideal marinade without unnecessary seasonings, soft meat, pickled onion. Khachapur was so delicious that I didn't want to leave it, although it didn't fit anymore. And what a stunning view of the river. The young waitress was surprisingly polite, because everyone was around with dissatisfied faces.
The guide brought it, saying that it was a very good place. But: expensive and not tasty. Instant cappuccino from a 3in1 sachet, wooden dishes with cracks, raw khinkali. At the same time, the prices are quite reasonable. General impressions: after a long journey, you can eat, but it is very expensive for such food.
Three stars for beauty. But we didn't like the food. Do not order the ear, this is the tasteless ear that I ate. There were 16 of us and everyone was not happy with the kitchen and even expensive (well, although it's understandable). The territory is beautiful, well maintained!
Beer on the menu is 200 rubles / 0.5 , in the receipt 250 rubles , when asked why they said that a piece of paper with a new price came off.Khinkali is disgusting, shish kebab is more or less a three. It's better to keep silent about the toilet altogether. And if you dare to eat here, then take a jacket, the river is very cold
They cheated by more than 600 rubles, which I realized already on the way home, during the payment they specifically ask incomprehensible questions, rush, confuse. Dishonest people.
