A detailed review about the rest at the Apsny hotel in Gudauta on the All-inclusive system.
We had a rest with my husband in this hotel from 12.09.-21.09.2023. according to the all-inclusive system. The ticket was purchased in the tour. the company fly-ru! Tour. operator "Alean".
The last time we had a vacation in Abkhazia was in 2018 in Gagra.
We flew normally without delays.
We arrived at Sochi airport and immediately realized that the attitude towards tourists from the tour operator "Alean" regarding the transportation of tourists has not changed, firstly, you run around Sochi airport looking for your tour operator, then you get into a tiny minibus without a luggage compartment (you put your suitcases in the back passenger seat) and so you go both upon arrival at the hotels and upon departure from the hotel! It took 3 hours from the airport to the hotel, taking into account the crossing of the border.
We arrived at the Apsny hotel. I liked that the photos posted on the hotel's website correspond to reality. The territory is large and well-maintained, fenced, there is security. There is a medical office. A swimming pool, a volleyball court, outdoor exercise equipment, a tennis table, billiards - everything was available! There is parking for cars. Wi-Fi was connected immediately. The speed is good! Catches all over the territory!
We arrived at the hotel at 10 a.m. and were immediately offered to check in, paying an additional 750 rubles for early check-in. We agreed, put on bracelets and received the keys to the room on the 10th floor with a sea view, as stated in our voucher.
Standard room, bed, TV, refrigerator, clothes dryer, 2 glasses, wardrobe, bedside table, table, hallway, hair dryer, air conditioning. More than 15 TV channels are enough. The air conditioner broke down on the second day, but it was repaired quickly within 30 minutes (apparently the batteries in the remote control were changed)! Animals such as bedbugs, cockroaches, midges, flies - were not seen in the room. For a complete picture of a cozy room, chairs on the balcony and 2 bottles of water in the refrigerator would not hurt. But alas!
Room cleaning - no questions asked! They cleaned every day, changed linen and towels 2 times. But there is a big question - why are shampoos, gels and soaps given only once upon arrival?
Meals are served in the buffet Restaurant, you will not be hungry! The dishes really can be a mess because they do not have time to wash them properly, the plates are chipped and wet with drops of water, the thermal sweat heats up for a long time and there is a constant queue for tea! If you come to the beginning of breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will stand in line and look for a table for a long time to eat - but there will be clean and dry dishes! If you come in the middle of breakfast, lunch and dinner, you will find a table and wipe it yourself, the dishes will be wet and you will wipe it yourself and the choice of dishes will no longer be complete! Come to the end of breakfast, lunch, dinner-there will be empty seats at the tables, there will be wet dishes, there will be dirty tables and there will be not enough food! It's up to you! There are no questions for the chefs. They didn't stay hungry and thank God they didn't get poisoned! Fruits were given every day, porridges for breakfast, soups for lunch, etc. The waiters 2 young men and 1 girl, even if they wanted to, would not have time to wipe the tables and deliver food and lay out cutlery! If I were the owner of the hotel, I would change the word "Restaurant" to the word "Dining room" then, probably, tourists would not find fault with the food and service in the "Restaurant" so much! From 11 to 12 you will be treated to donuts and hot tea in plastic cups on the street! But there will also be a problem with seats! From 15 to 16 you will be treated to a kebab with fried potatoes without drinks and there will also be a problem with tables and chairs outside! At 17 o'clock you will be offered ice cream "Ice cream"! Don't expect any other type of hamburgers and other ice cream!
The bar is a separate "state" under the leadership of the unfriendly and boorish bartender Eduard, who will do the following! One glass in one hand (there's nothing to barge!) Walk off the street 10 times and bow to his Majesty for every glass! There is no choice in the bar! Beer- draft Sukhumi! Semi-sweet red wine "Isabella" with the smell of braga! Cognac is very similar to colored alcohol! Vodka is like vodka! No white wine, no coffee, no tea, no liqueurs, no chips, no crackers, etc.Do not pour water into bottles (there is nothing to barge!)!!!! And it's called "All inclusive!".
The pool is open from 10.00 to 22.00. For 8 days of rest, we were able to swim in it 1 time! Our compatriots line up in a long queue by the pool at 10.00 and lay out their towels on the sun beds at exactly 10.00 and it is almost impossible to find a free sunbed by the pool during the day. But the pool is really heated! They try to clean it from oils and debris every day!
The beach is a 5-minute walk to the beach! In the morning, come to the beach, take a sunbed and drag it yourself to the place you like. Umbrellas will not be offered to you from the word-at all! The pebbles on the beach are small and sharp (take special shoes with you, if you haven't taken them, you can buy them in Gudauta for 500 rubles). The entrance to the sea is on pebbles and after five meters the sand and depth begin. The beach is relatively clean, but there are about 6 dogs of different colors running around. There are 3 souls. There is a cafe. There is a eucalyptus alley nearby. The sea is clear. The water is warm. There was a storm once in 8 days. The disadvantage is the absence of a bar on the beach —you can do without beer, but a drinking regime for vacationers would not hurt as there are a lot of children. And I didn't really want to run to the bartender Eduard under the hot sun for some water! And he didn't allow water to be poured into bottles in the bar, it was tantamount to a crime!
The dog animals are friendly, they can lie next to you and scratch from fleas. They can run around the territory and bark all night under your balcony. The guests of the hotel feed them both on the beach and on the territory. Security and hotel staff do not notice them. Thank God the cows didn't come to the beach! A herd of Horses once ate grass on the territory one evening, but the guards kicked them out.
Animation- billiards is always welcome, table tennis is welcome, volleyball if you want, please. There is animation for children, and there is a children's room. I will not write about the quality of the work of children's animators, since we went without children. I have not seen animation and entertainment for adults. Once on the beach I was invited to exercise and once in the pool I saw how they tried to do aqua aerobics! After three days of rest, the animators began to exhibit a music column on the territory, thereby organizing a dance floor. And that's it!
Excursions- the hotel itself has a tour operator. There is a choice of excursions. But taking into account the rise in gasoline prices in Abkhazia, the prices for excursions are "biting". My husband took a so-called "Fishing trip", paid 2 thousand rubles, swung for 2 hours on the waves in the sea. There was no fish. I came with nothing! The lady who offers vouchers prefers to pay for vouchers in cash!
The surrounding area - there are two good cafes in the surrounding area. You can sit in the evening and listen to music, eat meat and listen to the sound of the sea! Not much further away there are 2 kiosks with cognac, wine, tea, hot corn, coffee on the sand and smoked trout. A friendly female salesperson, Radha, works at one of these kiosks. We bought smoked trout, coffee on the sand and red wine "Bouquet of Abkhazia" from her. There is also a bus stop to go to the market and the city center and a taxi stand to the market and the center the price of the trip is 300 rubles! A little further away there are two private shops and a Magnit store where you can pay with a card. If you go to the city to a pharmacy or store, you can pay there by transfer. Connect the Wi-Fi, the seller tells you the password, and you pay with the card. But in the market, payment is only in cash! There is an ATM in the city, but in a single copy (closer to the center)! So it's better to take cash with you!
The attitude of the local population towards tourists is friendly!
I didn't really like the attitude of the tour company " <url>" and the tour operator "Alean" because they never called and didn't ask how we flew, how we rested!

A great boarding house! Thank you very much! The beach is clean, the rooms are cleaned every day, the territory is well maintained. the food is normal, you will definitely not stay hungry (even if you did not get to breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can eat donuts, snacks- additional food stations)
The staff is friendly, smiling, sympathetic. I would like to mention the work of Diana's canteen employee - she very carefully monitored the cleanliness of the hall and prosperity. Everything is fine! We had a great rest!

1. Almost every night, someone always smokes in the rooms. A fire alarm is triggered. I just can't stand it anymore. Instead of resting at night, you go down with the children and documents in fear of fire. After that, you can't fall asleep for hours, but only doze off - again the fire alarm, several times a night.
The reception staff is quite rude. The most they can do is turn off the alarm.
Violators who smoke in the room are not punished. And how to do it - we did not sign anything at check-in, it is impossible to issue an administrative fine.
Now there is another repeat operation, and since there is no sleep anymore, I will write about other disadvantages.
2. Queues in the dining room first for trays, then for wet plates, then for the opportunity to sit down at a table that will be dirty, covered in crumbs, but at least a table. The food is cold, and it doesn't matter if you came up at the time of opening or not.
3. Elevators are another terrible story. There are no directional settings. You stop at each floor and explain that you are going up, not down, as everyone who presses buttons needs to do, or vice versa. Moreover, the third elevator does not work all the time, and with 100% occupancy, it is a whole quest to climb to the 9th floor.
4. Sun beds are in short supply. The beach is a passageway. If you do not book a place under a canopy in the early morning, leaving a towel with pebbles and standing in line for a chaise longue at exactly 8, then there is a 100% chance of staying without a chaise longue and without shade at all.
5. Skinny huge dogs, both on the hotel grounds and on the beach. At the same time, they sleep on outdoor chairs, on which the guests then sit. Also, companies of 3-4 drunken friends from neighboring houses can easily come to the hotel in search of new acquaintances, which is really annoying.
6. Room cleaning. Sheets and towels were changed 1-2 times a week. But. When the child vomited on the sheet in the evening, they asked at the reception to replace it. It turned out there were no clean sheets in the hotel...
I took off 1 star for all this. It's just boiling over!

Vacation, June 2023, warm sea, pebble beach, rubber slippers on your feet (sold everywhere there). STANDARD room, got a sea view, change of bed linen, towels, once every 4 days, but if desired, as agreed with the maids, as often as possible, plus disposable soap and shampoo. The food is good, only queues, buffet, alcohol is not allowed. Afternoon snack, after lunch, barbecue, or lula, ice cream. Alcohol in the bar on the ground floor: wine, beer, chacha (excellent, does not get drunk in the morning) - free of charge, from 10.00 to 22.00, portion - plastic glass in hand, unlimited. In the room: air conditioning, plasma cable TV, balcony with clothes dryer. There is hot water in the bathroom, Feng, if not, ask the maid.
The Council. Do not take trips on UAZ trucks (jeeping, as they call it) on homemade extra seats in the back of the car, freeze, stuff your asses for at least a week, your ass will hurt, you will also knock your knees when driving through the mountains, take seats only in the car salon. Do not believe the two people who offer trips (tours) in Abkhazia, they lie about everything (this is not only my opinion), this is the only minus from the pleasant impressions of the trip! Who drives his car, he goes where he wants, looks at what he wants, except for the mountains, of course, there only on four-wheel drive UAZs. There are a lot of sights in Abkhazia, we couldn't cover them all! The locals were fortunately friendly.

Terrible hotel. I am not a whimsical or squeamish person, but this is nonsense. Holidays in Abkhazia at the price of Turkey, with the lack of basic service.
I don't usually write reviews, but it's worth writing here. We rested with friends and families in this hotel from 1.08.2024 to 08.11.2024. The days of departure home were counted . A negative impression has already begun to form upon check-in, we arrived a couple of hours earlier, we were refused check-in, they said wait for two hours, as a result there are available rooms, but there are no two hours, seven hundred rubles is a fee and you have a la, come in. Everything is included, that's a big word. Regular canteen meals. The food is not tasty (undercooked potatoes, undercooked hard buckwheat, overcooked pasta), rotten eggs for breakfast, cheap sliced sausage and margarine instead of butter. The dishes in the dining room are dirty with leftovers, the plates are not really washed and not wiped at all.. There is not even a smell of cleanliness in the dining room, the floors are not washed, sticky, when you walk, shoes stick to the floor. It's painful to look at food, not what it is. The service is so low that there is not even a standard canteen heating of food. The staff in the dining room is rude, the attitude towards the guests is disgusting. Always with a disgruntled face .
There was an outbreak of rotovirus in the hotel. but the hotel didn't even try to fight him. There is a puddle of vomit right at the entrance to the establishment. Everyone steps over, jumps over, the children are carried in their arms. People come up , ask, notify the hotel staff, but no one is in a hurry to remove the green mass right from the doorstep . After about 30 minutes, a man came, wiped it with a mop and left. Do you understand? He smeared it and left. No bleach, no disinfection. And we have seen this everywhere. In the elevator, by the elevator, in the corridor, on the street, next to the benches on the street... And what's going on in the rooms where they just wiped the middle of the room with water. Disinterria in the hotel, horror, this is the first time I've seen it. The hotel is completely unsanitary. There's a puddle of someone's vomit in every room. It's all mud,
We Got Infected With Rotavirus. the child is on day 3, my husband and I are on day 5.
The curtains are dirty and torn at the same time.
The feeling that you have been deceived and robbed in the literal sense.
No one cares about the guests of the boarding house.

and counted the days before departure..
1) Food
the food in this boarding house is of the same type, but you will not stay hungry. the potatoes are stably undercooked, fermented juice is flowing from the drinks machine. instead of ice cream, they give fruit ice, wine and chacha are tasteless and unreal.

the room in the shower room is very narrow, it will not turn around, the curtain constantly rubs against the body. The extra cot bed is very uncomfortable, sleeping on it is hard labor. the repair is old, stains on the curtains, but the air conditioning is good.
3) Service
do not expect such service as in Turkey. at the reception, one of the girls does not know how to communicate with people, to our dissatisfaction about a dirty towel, she replied "so what?". at the bar, the man is also rude, saying "write complaints wherever you want." there are a couple of nice cleaners, what you ask to change, they will change, the floors will be washed. in Abkhazia, in general, people are unfriendly, so do not expect cordiality to yourself.
4) cleanliness
there is no cleanliness here either. towels are stable with stains. curtains, stained walls. the main thing is to catch the cleaner in time, otherwise someone's room has not been cleaned for 8 days.
5) Location
The location is suitable only for pensioners. The "hotel" is located in the village, there is no entertainment nearby. there is only Gudauta nearby, in which the only interesting thing is the city market.
6) beach
the beach here is good, pebbles. there is an awning, but the place under it must be occupied in the morning, as well as the sun beds themselves. going to sea is very difficult, it's a whole story to go in and out to sea. there are no questions about the pool, but there are always a lot of children there.
I would like to add that during the rest there was an outbreak of rotavirus. the floor of the hotel was taken to the hospital on a drip. and in general, 200 meters from the sea, the hotel drains the sewer.
the hotel spoiled the impression of Abkhazia. I do not advise you to go for a low price, because there are much more disadvantages here

The sanatorium and the food in it from the time of the USSR is practically impossible, they cook disgusting, there are always not enough plates, wine and beer that are poured all inclusive is also not possible to drink, there are a couple of advantages this is a canditer in the room and the boarding house itself stands on the seashore, the rest is all one big minus, the room is cleaned every day with a damp cloth and they roll dirt on the old parquet from corner to corner. The shower head is attached to the bathroom under the ceiling, the wife, at 170cm tall, could not get it, there is no trash can in the room, there is no soap dish, although small soap is placed directly on the sink, toothbrushes also have nowhere to put toilet paper on the toilet tank because there is no attachment for her. A good place . The rooms are clean! Room cleaning every day. The sea is 50 meters away . The hotel has its own beach with sun beds (enough for everyone). Clean, warm pool. Very tasty and varied food ! One minus, there is no entertainment, not for adults and not for children (there is no animation). There's nowhere to go either.

The hotel is renovated, the interior is modern, white linen, cleaning is done every day. The food system is a buffet, the menu is varied, but mostly hot chicken and pork, fish only pollock and herring in salads. During the 7 days of rest, there was never any beef for hot. Round the clock on the ground floor, the bar has access to soft drinks, compotes and water. Alcohol from 10 a.m. to 22 p.m., wine, chacha beer. There is a swimming pool, a playground, and a sports ground on site. The sea is within walking distance, the sun beds were always available. Overall, the impression about this hotel is positive.

I would like to tell you about my vacation at the Apsny boarding house. We were there in early June. The room is not large, but clean, renovated, has air conditioning, refrigerator, TV. The food is without frills, but we always found something delicious to eat. The buffet, the only thing is that the restaurant did not always have enough appliances. The room was cleaned every day. The view from the room was great, on the sea. The staff is kind, helpful, and no one has ever been rude all the time. On the first and second floors there were areas with upholstered sofas and armchairs, there were many benches and swings on the territory. The beach is very close, there are sun beds, but almost all of them were always occupied. But we were not upset at all, we are not spoiled tourists, we could just lay down a towel and sunbathe. There is also a warm swimming pool on the territory of the boarding house. There is not much entertainment for a 6-year-old child, but there were animators who entertained the children in the evenings, but my child was not bored. I ran, swam, and climbed on the playground. In general, all minor disadvantages are more than compensated by nature, the sea, the mountains and the air of Abkhazia. As a result, we, the untalented Ural tourists, really liked the rest in the boarding house and Abkhazia as a whole.

We stayed at this hotel from 07/12.24. to 07/18.24. I have not seen a worse place. It's very dirty. We arrived early, paid 2,700 for early check-in, and settled us in room 703. Instead of resting, I began to clean up. I knew that Abkhazians were not the kind of people who would be obsessed with cleanliness, but I also did not think that it would be so dirty. Black hair all over the bed and on our and on the children's Euro pad. The bed is broken, the mattress is all stained, the bed linen is all stained yellow. There is a huge sleigh on the blanket.when asked for 2 blankets for the child, they said that it was not provided. That is, the payment for the child is provided, but the blanket is not🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
The buffet is monotonous, I haven't eaten for the last 3 days because I'm tired of the same thing. The plates were broken, forks and spoons were always missing. Queues for tables. Everything is included, provided that 1 ice cream in hand, 1 cradle, 1 coffee😂😂😂😂😂 alcohol is generally a separate story: wine is like brashka, chacha is pure alcohol, and beer was poured with an interval of 10 minutes, their keg overheats. Animation for children was a little bit, then they painted aquagrim on the stones. But for adults, they just turned on the column for 2 hours, and then they hung up and there was nowhere to go. Simply put, a pension. The vacation is ruined.
And yes, one more important point, the Abkhazians do not like us Russians, they only love our money and help from our president.

The location leaves much to be desired, as in the slums, there are destroyed or unfinished buildings around. There are also advantages, as stated, a warm pool, a large territory, access to the sea. The food is like in the dining room, but you do not expect that you will have enough food.. and it's not about what time you got there, but in general they don't cook according to people. We were at the New Year's banquet🤦♀️🤦♀️ the food was choked already cold, we constantly had to remind about the dishes that were not put on the table (from the declared one) , the banquet was throwing money away!

We arrived at the end of October. It was still warm in the afternoon. They wore T-shirts.The first line from the sea. The sea is clean, hammocks and swimming boards are available, a tennis table, billiards. Everything is included in the food, five meals a day, even alcohol is included.the pool is technically heated. That's just let down the playground. there were no Swords and, in principle, the basketball rings were broken off. We liked everything. We had a rest together .
The hotel is new and pleasant. Each room has a dryer, hair dryer, new furniture. We had a bed with a headrest, the guys don't. As luck would have it . The view overlooked the pool and the sea.

Rested from 21 to 24.10.2023 I liked everything! The rooms, though small, are clean, cleaned every day. The furniture is certainly not premium, but new. The outdoor pool is clean with warm, fresh water. The territory is clean, well-groomed. There is a buffet in the dining room. For gourmets accustomed to Turkish delights, it will seem quite simple, but we were quite satisfied. The food is always fresh, delicious and quite varied. We had a great rest. It was the first time, but we will definitely come back.

At the expense of cleaning , it 's clean , if there are any disturbances , they are eliminated immediately , the room is clean , the pool is really not very warm . We rested at this hotel in early October 2023, when we arrived there was no water at all for two days.The food in the so-called restaurant is generally disgusting, everything is always cold, and if you come an hour before the end of the meal, then there is no food at all, no one replenishes anything, there are not enough cutlery, there are no tea spoons at all.When we arrived, we ate there once and were treated for poisoning for 3 days.You can't drink alcohol, it's not clear swill from plastic bottles.Once there was a fly floating in the dish .

We stayed at the hotel in June. Who is waiting for the service, then you are not here, mostly just a family vacation. The nature is cool, the place is quiet, the hotel itself is 3 🌟, the rooms are cleaned every day. Food for 3+, the only thing I didn't understand: brunch and snacks in a cafe by the sea, beer and wine in the lobby bar - run around with glasses or plates of snacks!))) The pool is large, games and water aerobics are held. Every day there is a disco until 23h or more. The air is clean, the sea is also clean and there are few people. We saw dolphins. Shops and cafes are within walking distance, but not like on our coast, after all, this is Abkhazia. The hotel offers many excursions at affordable prices.

The territory is well maintained, green, with places to relax. The sea is nearby at 50-100 m. from the hotel. The food is decent. You can't please everyone anyway. I was outraged by the attitude of vacationers to food (they put as much food as they can't eat at a time, and then they carry everything to waste, as if someone forbids them to approach the food distribution again). Drinks in the lobby bar of the hotel are locally produced, not diluted, personally tested 😊There is a large freshwater pool, cleaned every morning. Sun beds on the beach are free with umbrellas. A wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Gudauta "for Abkhazia":
A nice private territory with a swimming pool (but the declared heating did not work during my stay) with access to the sea equipped with showers and changing rooms);
A large, bright and clean dining room. Good food for Abkhazia according to the buffet system, a sufficient selection of dishes;
The staff is friendly and attentive. Daily room cleaning with timely replacement of towels and bed linen (there may be stains that are hard to wash);
The rooms are in good condition, beds with comfortable mattress, flat-screen TV and good signal. Wi-Fi catches well everywhere;
The location is on the outskirts, away from shops and cafes. Hiking in Gudauta and the surrounding area is not safe due to the lack of footpaths (taxi only)
