We were vacationing with friends.nice hotel, clean rooms with sea view.snow-white underwear.There were no problems with hot and cold water.the room has air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, kettle, hair dryer.the staff are friendly, they cook very well. convenient location.the sea is 20 meters away, the beach is empty and clean, which is not unimportant.We liked everything.I advise everyone for a quiet relaxing holiday.we will definitely come next year.

The location is good, near the sea, cafes, restaurants, shops and a pharmacy. The staff is polite and pleasant. The prices are adequate. The rooms are spacious, but the hose leaks in the shower and the lack of shelves for accessories is inconvenient, plus there is not enough soap, I also did not notice a place to wash my hands in the dining room. There was also no TV in room 19. The area is clean, the beach is good.
Regarding nutrition, everything is fine. They cook well, in a variety of ways, with fruits and vegetables. One of the disadvantages is the lack of choice. I don't eat mushrooms and fish, which is why I had to give up some dishes.

We recommend it! Excellent guest house Abazashta. Accommodation right by the sea. Your own bar. Own dining room with very tasty breakfasts and lunches (Svetlana is the cook). The staff is polite and friendly. The hostess is Elena, a pleasant and friendly person. There was no tension in anything for 10 days. Its free sun beds, umbrellas, poufs, various inflatable mattresses and laps for swimming in the sea. All this is one huge huge plus. Well-maintained territory. There were shops, a pharmacy, a kebab shop, canteens, cafes, entertainment for children located a step away from us. Everything is very, very close. It's an insanely ugly place. You could always pull on your sneakers and quickly walk to the store for a new bottle of wine)

Very good location on one side of the sea, on the other side of the mountains. A lot has changed since last year, sun beds and umbrellas appeared on the beach, a bar appeared on the beach near the boarding house, there are pear chairs everywhere)), Sup boards, the cook has changed in the kitchen, Svetlana cooks very tasty, you definitely won't stay hungry. We lived in room 8 - the Internet was fine, all the staff Julia, Ali, Said, Milana, all kind and helpful people. Of course, there is still something to work on, fake plumbing, a buffet can be made in the kitchen, but in general, the location by the sea, what could be better. All the boarding houses there in Gagra are old, no one wants to do anything, we were lucky with the weather, there was no rain and there was always light and water. Prices have increased 2 times there compared to last year, both on excursions and in cafes. Have a good rest for everyone who decides to go to Gagra to rest, the main thing is to take a good mood and great company with you)))!

The hotel is located near the sea, the sea is gorgeous, clean, sun beds are provided with umbrellas-this is a plus of this hotel.The rooms have clean linen and towels without any stains.Very good food:breakfast and lunch, everything is very tasty, fresh, varied.The cook is just great.That's all the advantages.Now the cons.We have a room on the 3rd floor and to wash, we wait until 12 o'clock at night and only then the water goes well.We take a shower by the sea, and wash at night.The water in the toilet is collected by droplets.Room cleaning doesn't happen until you tell me.The room itself is not bad, but there is no declared TV.In the evening, just before going to bed to watch, but there is nothing.There are few sockets and they cost where they are not needed.There is no hair dryer in the rooms, although they say there is.There is no outlet in the bathroom and there are no shelves.The hotel is for one time., I don't want to come back here anymore.

Minuses. There is NO cleaning in the rooms. NOT AT ALL. For 12 nights, the linen was changed and the room was cleaned on the eighth day after the claim was made to the administrator. Cleaning is smearing dirt with the same cloth on a mop in all rooms, including the toilet, without any detergents. You'll never find an administrator, and she probably doesn't care about anything.

Of the advantages, there were sun loungers and a bar on the beach, but the advantages ended there. The food has become terrible.Everything used to be much tastier and more diverse.There was always cheese and sausage for breakfast, which is important to me because I don't eat porridge.It's much worse now.In addition, there were interruptions with water. There were 9 days. The breakfasts were delicious, the lunches were not. We lived in a room without a TV, because they are only in the main building. The room is not cleaned at all ((( and on top of everything else, we picked up pediculosis there, the children scratched their heads and we thought we were allergic to shampoo, bought another one, but it continued, eventually our heads began to itch. And as a result, there is a paradise of lice. They found out on the Internet that these are linen lice. An old sofa and a terrible mattress. They promised to process and clean the room, but they never came. Why!? We had two days left.although they wrote to the travel agency about cleaning and processing.The rest was ruined. I do not recommend this hotel!!!We combed this out of the children and ourselves. This is not the first time we have been on vacation in Abkhazia, but it was the first time. We rested for 7 days. I'll say this: the only plus is the sea. The food was terrible, the food did not look appetizing.The sunbeds, which were claimed for free through a travel agency, were paid. And the most unpleasant moment is the cleaning lady, who literally broke into our room, wanted to clean it. Although at that moment we were shouting at her outside the door that we would not open to her , since I apologize for the expression we were naked with my husband , but apparently she is deaf and dumb or something else , It's good that we managed to throw towels on. In short, tin. And one more thing, there is not even an administrator at the workplace who wanted to express all this mess.
P.S. After a few days of our arrival, a man appeared who decided to take care of the guest house. We wish him good luck and patience. We hope that he will be able to fix this mess.

No one came to us and asked what problems or wishes we had. It was only at our insistence that the lamp was replaced, and a TV set-top box was installed for the 3rd day. The advantages are the first line, 20 meters to the sea. I would like to say a special big human thank you to the staff of the canteen. They are very friendly, good-natured, cook delicious food, try to diversify the menu. They are allowed to take out the remaining food. Cons- periodically there is neither cold nor hot water.

We rested in July for 10 days, initially booked and paid for 12 days, but could no longer stay there.
Positive:
1.Close location of the beach (10-15 meters) ,clean beach.
2.There are sun beds and umbrellas in the room.

Minuses:
There are cobwebs everywhere , dust , and other people 's feces on the brush .Dirty towels .
Crushed, old mattresses with dirty mattress pads.
There is a lot of hair in the shower, it is impossible not to notice it .
There is no elementary toilet paper !
There is not even a place to hang towels in the bathroom, and there is not even a toilet paper holder.
I had to buy hooks , toilet paper , a bathroom curtain and whiteness to wash everything .
The room was booked from 12:00, arrived at 21:00 pm and the room was not ready yet.
There are bedbugs and ants in the room (they were biting all night).
In 10 days, the room was never cleaned, I had to go down to the maid's room myself 2 times to ask for towels and bed linen.
They changed everything themselves, and then took the dirty laundry to her.
The maids do not understand Russian, come into the room in street slippers and walk around all day in gloves.
In the same gloves , they iron clothes , wash toilets and sweep the street .
Now about the food :
Breakfast at 10:00, lunch at 15:00.
There is nowhere to warm up food in the evening .
If you go on an excursion (not from the hotel), you will be left without food.
Paid parking.
A small TV (they only catch 3 channels).
The air conditioner drips , there is always a puddle on the balcony .
The food is ordinary , with no choice .
For breakfast, porridge (semolina, rice, buckwheat, millet).
There are different soups and main courses every day.

They add specific seasonings to all dishes .
Because of the ants and the dirty room, we were forced to leave earlier.
This is no longer a vacation, in agony.
We got to prehistoric times for 150 thousand for 4.
Do not choose this hotel if you want to have a good rest!

We vacationed in July 2022 with a large company for the first time in this hotel and I think the last one, the reason is the "hospitality" of the administration...honestly, we didn't expect this, but everything is in order. Plus4 the first line, 15 meters to the sea, each room has sun beds for the beach and an umbrella, a variety of food, in general, I want to express my special gratitude to Svetlana, friendly, kind, makes very tasty coffee... The advantages are probably over. Cons: the room stock is old, the showers are flowing, the rooms are not cleaned, bed linen and towels are not changed until you ask, and in order to put your head down you need to complete the quest, since the sockets do not match the mirror at all...we went on excursions individually and were 5 minutes late, as a result we listened to this, almost kicked out of the dining room; the main message: "You can leave right now, there are a lot of people who want to, you are not so different." There is not enough plastic furniture on the territory, only 2 tables and 6 chairs for all guests. If there are small children, there is no way to warm up the food in the evening, everything is closed. The administration (two sisters) do not value their clients, they do not care whether to return to them or not, but no matter what the country is beautiful, there is something to see and where to go, there are changes in the city of Gagra itself, but in the next 5 years we will not eat here anymore.

They feed for an amateur, in the morning milk porridge (personally, I categorically do not eat milk porridge) + sandwich with cheese and butter. For lunch, the first and second. Personally, I and my whole family did not like the food, coriander is added to all dishes.
We rested there about 6 years ago, during this time, maybe something has changed. Very picturesque places. We would have returned there again, but of course, we would have taken vouchers without food

I don't want to leave in a day, but I don't want to!!! Many thanks to the staff!!! You can approach, consult, they will never refuse. Good food, breakfast "for slaughter". By the sea, the view is amazing!! The rooms are cozy, paneled with wood. There is no smell of dampness. They provide a wide range of excursions for a reasonable price. Nearby cafes, restaurants, shops across the street. Both my son and I really liked everything. We hope to visit this most beautiful country someday!!! Without any problems, we will choose only Abazashta!!!
P. S. On the tour we talked with other tourists from other hotels.... So, many were not happy with their choice. Thanks again, Abazashta!!!!

We had a rest in Abazashta in the second half of June 2021. We contacted the administration and ordered a transfer (and back), very convenient. We had a double room, and there were three of us, they put an extra bed. The room was no longer cramped. The food is very, very excellent, everyone could not eat at once. I was very pleased that the administration takes care of the vacationers in terms of food, i.e. we went on excursions, lunch (breakfast) was waiting for us on arrival, warmed up, it's great. The sea... the sea is right under your feet, the purest, is it not a class. Our vacation was a 100% success. Thanks to Abazashta.

For those who have traveled at least to Turkey before, you are not here. During the 10 days of arrival, the linen was changed once, the cleaning was 2 times. Only breakfasts and special lunches, if it is not convenient for you, no one will change it! If you do not buy the tour from them, then you will be left without breakfast and lunch.
