The hotel is super. The staff is friendly. They settled on the 7th floor with a view of the ocean. Food can always be found according to preferences, only breakfasts were taken. There are many places with a local flavor nearby. The staff is moderately intrusive, obligatory. Not all dishes with European names meet expectations. Therefore, it is worth reading reviews to avoid disappointment. The beach is good, you should not take up space, you can always find a place, for small amounts you are VIP clients. A cafe near the hotel with more pleasant prices for alcohol and local flavor. We were at the end of November 24, we were not very lucky with the weather. The transfer from the hotel to the airport was taken on the street opposite the hotel, 2 hours and you are on the spot, the price tag is 50 dollars, we had 60, they do not have change, it is not critical, to hotels and the operator will be 1.5-3 times more expensive. The hotel is located at the end of the main street. A quiet and peaceful place. The territory of the hotel is green and well-groomed, there are many animals - geese, squirrels, monkeys, peacocks, lizards, etc.
We checked in quickly, we were lucky - there was a Russian-speaking employee at the reception - thank her very much (she doesn't work every day). She helped explain everything and we were given a room with an ocean view. The English of the Lankans is difficult to understand, and it is better to communicate with them in a simple style. The rooms are spacious and clean, cleaning, changing towels and replenishing the water supply daily. There is a nuance: in the early days there was a smell of dampness; there is black mold on the back of the curtains; the English standard of electrical outlets, take care of the adapters with you.
We only took the breakfasts. The range of dishes is the same every morning, but it is quite diverse and delicious.
The beach is sandy, there are a lot of sun beds - they are booked from 6 a.m. as usual, but they will always find a place for you. Beach towels are given out and changed from 6.00 to 22.00. There are a lot of rocks and coral fragments in the water, a large number of parked boats (boats occupy the sandy bottom). Just behind the boats, a muddy river flows into the ocean. There is clean sand at the bottom of the central part of the beach and swimming will be more comfortable, but you need to walk about 500 meters. There is a bar with fruits and drinks on the beach, Tuna is cut/cooked there every day at 12 o'clock, you can pay with a v/m card.
The pool is available until 22.00. During the day, the water warms up to 34 degrees in it. Water aerobics starts at the beginning of the eleventh.

We took a tour with only breakfast, but we didn't regret it. There is a lot of food and it is affordable.

PS the dry cleaning service at the hotel is very decent.
The temple nearby is very interesting.
Not far from the hotel is a beach with turtles and a beautiful sunset. Tuk tuks are available, but you also have to bargain there!

The hotel is bombastic! The most beautiful and comfortable place to stay, on the island of Sri Lanka. Delicious breakfasts. A gorgeous beach. There are also showers and large changing rooms. Great hotel! The best on the island. Deservedly the best. Very clean. Suitable for families with children. The best beach, entering the water. The waves are not that strong. There is always a guard on the beach. The food is good, but peculiar. At the expense of spices. You can always find something for an adult. Seafood every day. You can grab the freshest grilled tuna and sashimi on the beach every day. I only ate on the grill. Very tasty! I advise you to try it. It was a bit difficult to feed children aged 6 and 1.5, but in the evening there is always pasta and spaghetti, and children love it. Wonderful staff. All the staff at the hotel are friendly and pleasant. And in general, Sri Lankan people are very pleasant. I'm happy with my vacation.
For a 1.5-year-old child, I bought baby porridge and cookies at the supermarket for a snack. Everything can be bought at the supermarket, the range is good and the prices are good. Locals go there. A great hotel, it seems to me ideal in this part of Sri Lanka! Spacious, but absolutely not crowded; interiors with a local flavor - colonial style in everything, marble, lots of elephants made of wood, vegetation, park, greenery .., every weekend 3-4 weddings in national clothes, with local traditions and music were observed on the territory. The rooms are spacious, clean, cozy, not killed, to cleaning, no questions about furniture, fruits upon check-in, mini-bar, everything is on the level 👌
The main advantages:
-we lived on the 11th floor, had free access to the pool on the 12th floor and the bar, - the view is amazing, you just enjoy the view and cocktails;
- excellent beach (sheltered from waves and excitement at sea, swimming at any time and weather is as comfortable as possible);
- there are a couple of tables with locals on the beach, for some ridiculous $, chic coconuts and pineapple freshies were offered (I drank 3-4 drinks plus to the pool bar, which was all inclusive);
- outside the hotel, it is very colorful that towards the Buddhist temple with which the hotel borders, that towards the bay (it was interesting to walk along the coastline to the extreme point opposite), that to the exit to the city where Shanghai began with all the local flavor (any local fruits to choose from are abundant and for not much money, local clothes, jewelry, precious and semi-precious stones, etc.);
- excellent food for both Europeans and Asians (for locals there are whole stands with curries and local spices, for Europeans seafood, vegetables .., everything is in abundance, no excitement and jostling; I liked the food, gorged on crab meat daily and pineapples in any form 👌 meat for an amateur, - the usual beef on (no, rather buffalo meat of the appropriate degree of rigidity);
Nearby is the city of Halle (the first colonial port in that part of the World - I definitely recommend it to visit! An overlap of epochs, some very cozy, charming city for walking, with small colorful streets, shops, cafes and locations! Just a delight!!!
In the opposite direction there are many different beaches and coves for surfing, with swimming turtles, local people, foreigners settled on Sri.., I also advise you to go for a ride ✅
There is probably one minus, we flew to Colombo; the hotel is about three hours away and although we took an individual transfer, but this is Sri Lanka)) it is difficult to find a comfortable bus and a fast driver (all are positive, friendly, but by our standards they are so inhibited in relation to any reactions).

We stayed at this hotel with our family in January 2025. We liked the hotel. It's not the best hotel we've been to, but it's on the level.
Location. The hotel is located in Unawatuna on the coast. I have never seen such large hotels nearby. Access to the beach from the hotel.
The rooms. Our room was spacious with two beds. However, the beds are not double, but rather one-and-a-half beds. There is an ironing board, iron, kettle, safe, ceiling fan, air conditioning. There is enough lighting. You can control the lighting using both the usual switches (only the hallway and bathroom) and from the panel on the bedside table (all lighting). We had both a bathroom and a shower stall. Everything was working fine. The service provides water, tea bags, towels, shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper. There is a closet with hangers.
There is a loggia with two armchairs and a table. We didn't have a room with a sea view, but in fact, the sea was quite clearly visible from the loggia.
The lobby. The lobby is spacious with beautiful leather furniture. A Russian-speaking singer sang every evening until 23.00.
Beach. The beach is located in a beautiful bay. There are almost no waves. There are many boats parked, which are used for fishing, snorkeling, and diving. Sun beds can be occupied under palm trees, not covered from the sun or with umbrellas. Towels are issued by cards.
Swimming pool. In fact, there is only one swimming pool on the territory. It has a regular rectangular shape. The tiles around the pool are very slippery. There are paths that you can walk on. There are many sun beds around the pool, both with and without umbrellas.
Food. We only had breakfast included. I can't say that the buffet is too big and varied, but you won't stay hungry. From the local, I liked the Roti tortillas, the bean dish (like pea porridge) is moderately spicy, and the curry chicken. They're cooking scrambled eggs and an amlet. There are sausages, potatoes, rice, pasta, fish, bread, pastries, fruits, juices, tea, coffee, etc. There are restaurants on the beach in the evening. You can go outside the hotel - there are quite a lot of different cafes and restaurants. The four of us spent the evening drinking in a restaurant for about 5,000 rubles. It can be cheaper. If you take seafood, it will be more expensive. There are 3 Russian cafes on that single street next to the hotel.
The territory of the hotel. Beautiful landscaping, but the area is too small for us, because we like to walk in the evenings. Ducks and geese are running around the territory. Lots of chipmunks. We have seen 4 peacocks that fly onto the roofs of buildings in the morning and scream.
The staff is quite polite and friendly. There are Russian-speaking employees, but the rest can somehow speak Russian.
A contingent of vacationers. We had a rest from January 08 to January 19. At that time, the vast majority of tourists were Russian-speaking.
There is one street outside the hotel. It is both pedestrian, automobile and shopping. It's not very comfortable to walk there, but for fun you can walk around and maybe buy something. Tea and jewelry with precious and semi-precious stones are being brought from Sri Lanka. There are many such shops there.

We really liked the hotel, we had a rest with a child from February 19th to 26th. The place is beautiful, there were waves, but you can swim, they say there are even more on other beaches and you don't buy. The ocean is warm and clean, there are always sun beds, I don't know why our tourists occupy them with their towels right in the morning. The territory is beautiful, well-maintained, there are many cafes and shops nearby, you can go for a walk in the evening. We had breakfast, there was a huge selection of fruits, there were always watermelons, papaya, pineapple, sometimes bananas, there were freshly squeezed papaya and mango juices. We went to different restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner, and the hotel itself was expensive.
The room was large, we were given on the 3rd floor, the ocean was visible, the view was gorgeous, peacocks were screaming, chipmunks were running around the territory, you could meet a peacock, a family of monkeys lived on the beach on palm trees, they were peaceful, tourists were not touched :). The staff is friendly, we will definitely return to Sri Lanka and Aralia.

One of the best hotels available in Unawatuna. The rooms were cleaned daily, but there is no mini bar.

Really the best hotel in Unavvtun. The staff is friendly, everyone is smiling, they were greeted with national dances. The elevator is being called. I would like more Russian-speaking staff at the reception. We cleaned every three days, and at the same time we could do it every day, we had enough of this regime. Towels, shampoos, gels are all there. Water was brought every day. Tea, coffee, sugar are all there. There are glasses for water and tea, but take wine glasses with you. They only took it with breakfast. We haven't tried everything in 10 days. Very tasty. Omelets are prepared in front of you. Yoghurts, fruits, pastries, meat, fish, greens, cheese, ham, eggs, I will not list everything. Towels are provided on the beach. Sun beds in different areas. There is a morning workout in the pool. The ocean is warm and gentle. The reefs hold the wave. 10 days of a fairy tale.

We had a rest in Aralia from October 29 to November 8. The hotel is wonderful, a large group of tourists stopped by and we were greeted at the hotel with a beautiful welcome dance.
We were accommodated in a room on the 9th floor, a gorgeous view from the window, a luxurious interior, an ironing board with an iron, bathrobes, slippers, scales in the room. Water was supplied daily in the right amount.
We took only breakfast, and local cuisine, European, and even Russian were presented. We went to the hotel for dinner once, the cost is 7,500 rupees per person. The dinner is great, I especially like the local ice cream!
On the beach, tuna was cut up daily at 12.00 and cooked from it, according to your request, barbecue, grill, etc.
It was also possible to buy fruits on the beach, by the way, cheaper and better quality than in local shops.
The territory of the hotel is heavily guarded, our friends were not allowed into our room, they were allowed to pass only in the lobby.
It was safe to leave personal belongings and money on the beach, and the hotel staff looked after everything.
There was live music every day at the hotel, various events and celebrations were very often held, it was not boring.
The only thing I can point out from the cons is that there were boats in the sea, and it seemed that they could touch you. But as I understand it, no part of the sea belongs to the hotel and this is the case throughout Sri Lanka.
I rate the hotel at 5! Thanks to all the staff who work at this wonderful hotel!

I've been to this hotel 2 times. In 2022, in April, we met NG from 24 to 25.
The first time we liked it much more. A decent hotel. High-level service. The rooms are large. The cleaning was good. There were few Russian tourists.
80% of the NG population was Russian. The audience is all wealthy. The hotel is 90% full.
There was no entertainment. Only New Year's Eve itself. And that leaves much to be desired.
Nice beach bar. Fresh seafood. With a 20% discount for residents.
It is fashionable to choose this hotel to stay for 3-4 days, as the end of a trip around the island. But staying at this hotel all the time (for a week or two) is a bad idea.
There are no good restaurants nearby. You can drive to Halle. But it seemed to me this time that it became somehow more dirty on the streets near the hotel in Halle.

Very mixed feelings. I'll start with the pros.
It is clear that in Sri Lanka this is one of the best large fresh hotels.
Compared to the whole country, it's clean.
There is a large playground (only because of it they moved, because with a small child there is no rest here).
The pool is clean. The towels are large and clean, not old. Mattresses for deck chairs have seen a lot.
By 12:00, a huge fresh tuna is brought to the beach bar, where it is quickly cut into sashimi, tartare, and steaks for the guests. You can't think of a fresher one. Steaks are made right (rare) - this is a rarity for the country.
But! There are a lot of nuances:
1) BREAKFAST ITEMS. Cheap gestas are sometimes better than here. Scrambled eggs can't be fried normally for you: there will be toasting on the bottom and slime of uncoiled protein on top. There are very few fruits. Usually, Sri Lankans do not skimp on fruits, but here they are few and not the first freshness. Pancakes and pancakes are not delicious.
2) CHILDREN'S ENTERTAINMENT.
There is a playground, but many swings have already been installed. The rubber coating needs to be repaired in some places. There is no children's animation. There are 2 Lankan women who paint on their faces once a day. There is a large children's room, dirty, cold and dark. The workers are sitting at the entrance. The children are not being looked after. Toys are not cleaned promptly. They can be scattered there all day long. Parents of toddlers (3+) are forced to be nearby. By the way, there are a lot of children in the hotel.
3) STAFF
They seem to be helpful and friendly, but everything is upside down. Examples: They asked, called, demanded a cot from 12:00. It arrived only at 20:30. On the 5th call to my request to bring a bed, did they ask if they brought it to me or not? Of course not if I'm calling again! There were no problems with understanding speech, they had a problem with personnel management.
There were no bathrobes in the room. After the request, they brought 1 bathrobe without slippers, despite the fact that there are 2 adults in the room. After the next request, 1 pair of slippers was moved. And so on....
Bath towels were not provided. The hair of the previous tenants was not removed. The cleaning is substandard. There are 1-2 employees on the floor for all rooms.
At the same time, there are 2-3 people standing near the elevator!the employee presses the buttons and is led into the elevator with a gesture.
4) THE TERRITORY is large,
beautiful and well-groomed, but extremely strangely planned. There is absolutely nowhere to walk, because 50% of the territory is the entrance to the hotel (unlit). Another 30% is the hotel itself, the obscure beach club building on the way from the hotel to the pool, and the bridge to it. In the evenings, there is no one in this beach club, only a disco thunders from 19:00 with an empty dance floor. I didn't notice any dancers. There are banquet areas under the bridge that you don't use.
Accordingly, 20% remains for the pool area, playground, ocean bar with sun beds. Not much.
4) OCEAN AND BEACH
Unfortunately, this is the worst option for swimming in una. Many people need to go to the left. A large river, the stinky river, with all its sewage flows in from the right. Right in front of the hotel are a bunch of boats and anchors and the smell of gasoline. The bottom is filled with rocks and shells.
One day a lot of locals came to an event. Bags and belongings were stacked on the tables of the hotel. Some people went to the toilet and shower without hindrance. Security looked at it and did nothing.

The hotel is four years old, the level is very good, the windows of all rooms face the sea (from the fifth floor, the sea definitely does not cover anything). There are a lot of employees, they clean well, they can do it every day if you ask. It looks expensive and rich, and wood is used everywhere in the interior decoration. A chic bathroom with a glass wall and a bathtub. A good buffet (can be recommended for breakfast) lunch and dinner is more appropriate to go outside the hotel - it is twice cheaper. In the evening, Masala tea is offered in the lobby - a masterpiece!
SPA is the most expensive but the most adequate service. After the Thai outdoor salons in Unawatuna, outdoor "massage parlors" seem like expensive paid outdoor toilets in the Russian countryside: it's scary to step in the wrong place... There is no massage culture at all, as in Thai. The masters do not know the technique.
And in the hotel, the Thai people seemed to be the masters: the massage was systematic, they washed their hands.
As an outdoor cafe, I can recommend the "Atmosphere" - Russian hostess, delicious food. one of the few places where you can order pork and lamb.

A wonderful place, we relax there with children from 1.5 to 12 years old.
Regarding the hotel, in windy weather, since the hotel is closed by the mountain, there is no wind on the beach. ✔️Next to the hotel, as you exit on the right hand, there is a MOMENT restaurant for those who have breakfast, opened by our Russian guys, very tasty, but a little more expensive than in the district.
✔️Clothes dry quickly , swimsuits and clothes dry overnight. (Not like Bali)
✔️The hotel has a good Playground, a game room (my cockroaches did not let me go to the game room)
✔️With regard to the pool, I don't allow swimming anywhere at all, it seemed clean and the children were very asking for it.... (The result is fever, vomiting, loose stools and streptoderma) I was looking for a pharmacy for tuk tuk 10 min. Zinc ointment comes with antifungal immediately 2 in 1 is sold. We visited this hotel in March 2025.
1. The rooms are clean, cleaning is regular
2. Food - maximum four stars
3. The hotel's beach is a disappointment: dozens of pleasure boats from all over the coast are parked right in front of the beach!!! To swim, you need to go to the beaches of other hotels.
4. And most importantly: they are constantly trying to deceive guests and get money out of you.
WE HAD AN EARLY DEPARTURE AT FIVE IN THE MORNING. THE DAY BEFORE, WE PAID FOR ALL THE SERVICES AND RECEIVED A CORRESPONDING DOCUMENT WITH A SEAL.
WE GO DOWN at five in the morning on 03/16/25 WITH OUR SUITCASES (WE ORDERED AN INDIVIDUAL TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT) , OUR SUITCASES ARE BEING TAKEN AWAY FROM US AND WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GET INTO OUR CAR, AS WE ALLEGEDLY DID NOT PAY FOR THE SERVICES.
I SHOW THEM THE RELEVANT DOCUMENT WITH THE PAYMENT STAMP. And that's where the circus begins. A new version is being put forward that we allegedly did not pay for the room. I present them with a voucher stamped with payment for the room, a copy of which I gave them when we checked in (who would put us in a hotel and let us stay there for ten days without paying?!). In response: We don't know anything, wait until 10.00 when the managers will come and sort everything out. And we have an intermediate flight at 9:00.
In short, this hassle lasted 40 minutes (!!!) at the same time, we were constantly hinted at additional payment!!! The scoundrels! They ruined the whole impression of a vacation. We barely made it to the plane!
In short, those who are willing to pay twice for the same thing, swim in the sea, maneuvering between pleasure boats, welcome to this hotel.

Sri lanka is ❤️ We stayed at this hotel in November of the 24th year. They settled on the 8th floor, the view is gorgeous. Every day at 12:00, tuna is butchered and cooked on the beach, it is very tasty. They make a grill and sashimi, a portion of 150 grams, at a cost of 1200 rupees (this is somewhere 450-500 rubles), I advise you to try it. Very nice hotel! We stayed there twice. In high season (we were at the beginning of February), they can race according to the numbers, as there are many locals. Usually, they spend a couple of days in a room on the second or first floor, and then they move higher up with a great view. In March, there were many rooms available and we were immediately accommodated on the 8th floor. We enjoyed the view the whole vacation.
The rooms are very spacious, there is everything you need (from a dental kit to a bathrobe), adapters for sockets are provided, even there are zones in each room.
The staff is very pleasant and courteous.
The food is delicious, but it's the same every day, there's a table with local cuisine.

This is a great hotel! The best in Unawatuna. Well-maintained territory, fresh rooms, natural materials, expensive brand mattresses, all rooms with ocean views, an observation deck on the roof, a high level of service, friendly and helpful staff. In low season, there were no problems with queues and free sun beds, in high season, I think, problems cannot be avoided. The beach is public (there are simply no private beaches there). Hotel beach chairs are located 15 meters from the ocean, fenced off from outsiders by a rope and guards. The main restaurant prepares very tasty desserts, the rest is for the amateur). We took breakfast-we liked everything. Both the quantity and the quality of the food. Sometimes you had to wait for an omelette or scrambled eggs, or waffles. Almost all arrivals (including ours) have one day stolen by checking into neighboring lower-class hotels without providing meals (in our case, a Radisson is not to be confused with a premium Radisson). As compensation, they offer different options - from a bottle of sparkling wine to additional meals (in our case, lunches).
Meals according to expectations. Almost.
Everything is sharp, but it's justified. After eating, the fresh (it turned out not to be) shrimps were poisoned.
The selection of fruits is small. Drinks in the morning are tea bags, coffee from them, juices from powder. Water at dinner in the evening. Additional drinks wine beer cola for a fee. 150g of wine 800 rubles cola bottle 200 rubles bottle of beer 400 rubles.
In Moscow, our agent advised us to take meals only at the hotel, citing the quality - I do not advise you to take meals. There are plenty of cafes nearby with fresh seafood and drinks twice as cheap as in the hotel. Lunch for two (beer -250 rubles, cola-100 rubles) with 0.7 kg of Giantjumbo shrimp, a portion of salad and French fries-2,300 rubles. The hotel has 4,000 rubles per day per person (the offer was from an agent in Moscow). Meals at the hotel are boring for 2 days. The quality is no better, considering the volume.
The rooms are great, but there are mosquitoes. The staff is thieving. Although the Russian guide described the local population as honest. Don't believe it!
Our swimsuit was stolen at the hotel. On the tour, the driver stole a lot of money from our backpack left in the minivan.
There are no excursions in the usual ascent. There are tuk-tuks, cars and minivans in which a barely English-speaking driver will take you to the right place. There are no attractions either. They take you to see the bridge in the jungle (the only one in the whole of Ceylon?), tea plantations … In general, the exuberant Flora and fauna is all that can be seen there. The price of such an excursion (check-in at several points per day. From 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.) $85 per person. The Russian guide offered the same for 150 per person.

My husband and I visited this hotel, we paid $3,000 for a room for 10 days, but it wasn't worth it at all..
The room was not cleaned in full, only the bed was made.. personal hygiene products were not updated, we asked the staff for toilet paper ourselves, are you serious?? The dust was not wiped at all, the linen was changed only after we told it to be done! We waited 40 minutes for Rumservice, when we expressed this to the manager, no action was taken.. The electric car goes to the hotel gate. At the beach bar you can order food, fresh seafood (the squid is amazing), pizza (baked in the oven). They sell ice cream at the hotel. Tuna is cut up every day at 12 p.m., you can buy it, the portion is large. We went by boat at the hotel to the nearby Jungle Beach, very beautiful. We had dinner at a restaurant next to the Moments or Sea Waves hotel (we attended a master class in Waves). There is a green tuk-tuk near the hotel, the driver can take a tuk-tuk to the turtle farm (small turtles were released into the sea) and other excursions. The hotel is not bad, but not 5*. You can see how the staff is trying, but so far it's somewhere between 3 * and 4*.
The beach is clean, but there is a diving center and a boat station nearby. When the cylinders are refueled or boats arrive/ leave on the beach, it is impossible to breathe from the exhaust. (This happens on a regular basis throughout the day)! Swimming is not particularly pleasant in this gasoline, and the bottom is all in corals.
But after 150-300 m, it's a completely different matter. Even the sand is different. Small, pleasant.
Autumn is convenient, there is a small fruit market near the beach (prices are not too high, almost like in the city)
The fruits are very tasty.
The linen has not been changed for 10 days, but the room is cleaned daily.
The food is not bad.
At dinner, a local band sings (tries to pronounce) Russian rock.
It's very funny to sing, and the chords and rhythm of Russian Rock are reduced to national motifs.

You can have lunch at restaurants in the city. It's not delicious everywhere, you need to look, but the price tag is 2-3 times lower. Russians and tourists from the CIS - 90 percent. Of the cons. The hotel is almost always completely full. Therefore, the initial settlement for many does not correspond to the declared category (they settle on the 1st and 2nd floors). The only and big disadvantage of the hotel is a bunch of boats on the water on the beach territory. On the last day of their stay, 5 pieces were pulled ashore and the water immediately became much freer.

Aralia is the best of the best UNA Watuna hotels in Sri Lanka! We are resting in December 2023. Clean 5 stars. Cleanliness, beauty! The hotel is new, the rooms are large, clean, the plumbing is in excellent condition. Shower accessories are always available, towels are changed daily. The rooms are cleaned every day. The air conditioner is always in good working order (we stayed here last year). We took only breakfast- there are no complaints, the breakfasts are European, everything is delicious! And what a beautiful design of the hotel! Huge mango tree elephants on every floor! Of course, the prices in the bar and restaurant are not small, but it is possible to buy alcohol in the nearest liquor store.

We had a rest from 06.01.25. The hotel is good, but there is one very fat BUT! The hotel's customer service administration has come up with and is successfully implementing a corruption scheme. They sell your purchased rooms "to the left"! You are informed that the system has failed and there are no numbers. They offer to stay for a few days in a room for the disabled on the 2nd floor, under the window of which a huge industrial unit is making noise and instead of a bathroom there is a shower! This is when a shower sticks out of the wall just above the toilet bowl . The curtains are covered with mold from top to bottom! When you refuse, they "do you a favor" - they offer to move into Rixos Blue. In fact, it is a very old hotel (only the lobby has been restored), but without the beach. The rooms are a nightmare, three coats of paint, etc. We thought we were the only ones, but! A full bus was already leaving Rixos with us! And of course, when we were already living in Arabia and talking to people, it turned out that it was the same with all Russians, and we were lucky, we had a Deluxe room and an EAC for only one night, and people were kept for 2 and 4 days in a Rixos, which is a class below and there is no sea for swimming.! Another interesting detail. This has all happened to people who have flown in from Fan & Sun. Most of them. Those with an Anex were immediately leaked (but there are few of them). Moreover, the Fan's guide behaved defiantly, saying that in 2 days we would forget everything. I got angry and started to get indignant-he then said that he would give us dinner at the hotel restaurant. (our dinners were not included) . And it became clear to us that he was in cahoots with the hotel management. He's a local, but he's Russian-speaking. And Anex has a Russian guide, apparently he didn't fall for their scheme. They became so arrogant that, according to one couple, they were immediately dropped off at Rixos. The woman called the manager, who yelled at her! As a result, they were promised a room, instead of a rickshaw, it was even better, and they were taken to an uninhabited room without windows, with a warehouse of old chairs, a toilet, like at a train station, and a bed in the middle! In general, they spoiled the whole impression. And most importantly, I was struck by the brazen lies and the attitude towards the guests, as if they were some kind of trash that could be driven into any conditions. and people paid more than 500 thousand for this hotel!
