The location is great,in the city centre, food was very tasty, prices are good for a restaurant in the city centre and with tasty food and big portions, atmosphere was great, design as well, the only thing i didn't like was the strong smell of different food in the main hall, which means the ventilation was not good.

The portions are so large that you have to be careful with the number of dishes. If they can't resist, they'll take everything they can't use with them without any questions. Although it is very difficult to resist trying to eat everything, but the capabilities of a person pale next to the abilities of the chefs of this institution. It is necessary to visit this place at least once, more are welcome. The prices are reasonable.

They are so generous that it is better to plan the order in advance, otherwise you will have to ask for packaging (which they do here with pleasure). It's a wonderful place, authentic atmosphere, and the cuisine is simply beyond praise. An interesting feature is that we ordered whitefish on the grill. And what do you think surprised us? The manager of the hall, Harutyun, cleaned each fish from the bones, and this is not a private matter. At the neighboring tables, this kind friend of the guests was ready to help with any questions. The staff is extremely friendly. Each waiter is not just the staff and seems to be your personal acquaintance. Very kind and attentive staff, wonderful authentic cuisine. Live national music performed so heartily that all the guests live the soul of Armenia deserves only the highest praise. We were glad to be your guests and hope to come back more than once!

I visited the Ararat Tavern restaurant and was delighted with the menu! I really liked the homemade cold cuts, especially the eggplant rolls with nut filling - it was a great combination of flavors. The set of cold appetizers also pleased with the variety and quality of each dish.
The Ararat salad was fresh and fragrant, and the yarakh side dish added a pleasant exotic flavor to our dinner. The kaurma lentil soup was the perfect choice for the first course - warm and satisfying.
The veal tongue with vegetables and lamb shank were cooked perfectly, the meat is incredibly tender and juicy. Of course, I can't help but mention arishta with persimmon - this dish just melted in my mouth!
I definitely recommend visiting the Ararat Tavern and enjoying the excellent Armenian cuisine!

We came on vacation with my sister . We started exploring Yerevan with a full stomach, of course, and decided to visit the Ararat Tavern. We definitely liked everything! The place is clean, noticeable, the waiters are polite, the dish is delicious, the food is served quickly. From the large menu, we decided to try shish kebab, which was fragrant, soft and incredibly delicious, salad, eggplant rolls with nut filling, unusual but delicious , fragrant red wine, which had never been tasted before. This is the best restaurant in Yerevan, where we had a really delicious meal and ate. I think we'll come again.

Our extended family visited the elegant cuisine of the Ararat Tavern, they really liked everything. The place is clean, well maintained, the food is delicious and the portions are large. My husband and I really liked the lamb hashlama dish with potatoes, we even ordered an addition and took it home. The Ararat Tavern is a place where you want to come back again and again!
We recently visited this place and were absolutely delighted. From the very first minutes you immerse yourself in the atmosphere of warmth and comfort. The interior is decorated in Armenian style, which gives the feeling of traveling to a picturesque corner of Armenia.
As for the kitchen, it's just a masterpiece! Each dish was prepared with love and skill. I would especially like to mention kebabs, dolma and fragrant lavash, which is served hot directly from the oven. Drinks are also excellent, especially pomegranate juice and homemade wines.
Service is a separate respect! The waiters are polite, attentive, but unobtrusive. Everything was served on time, and the smiles of the staff created a good mood.
If you are looking for a place for a cozy evening with your family, a romantic dinner or a meeting with friends, the Ararat Tavern is perfect! I recommend it to everyone, and I will definitely come back again.

Having arrived on vacation, we decided to visit this institution with friends. The Ararat Tavern immediately made a very pleasant impression (Interior, live music). We were served by the waiter Gevorg, who was very attentive, polite and friendly. What I can say about the dishes is that the serving was incredible, everything was very tasty, especially: homemade cold cuts, Ararat salad, lamb tolma, lamb hashlama with potatoes, veal tongue with vegetables. Everything is prepared with the soul, we immersed ourselves in the Caucasian culture of the country, which we recommend others to experience.

The meat is very tender, and you should order a sauce for it (although I didn't notice it on the menu), it's tomato with herbs and onions, slightly spicy — it goes perfectly with meat and bread. The Greek salad is also delicious, that's my weakness. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. I would especially like to mention the level of service: the staff is friendly, courteous and helpful, everything is in moderation, without excess. Customer orientation is at a high level. I especially want to single out Harutyun — he is a very friendly and pleasant person, he escorted me to the table, since I was alone, it was very nice)) Waiter Garik is also on top, it was he who recommended the sauce, and it was just great! I've always wanted to try Armenian cuisine in this particular tavern. I really love lamb tolma and lamb hashlama with potatoes. It was very tasty, atmospheric and cozy. Music was playing in the hall, songs were being sung, they were very relaxing and distracting from the hustle and bustle of the outside world.
