A beautiful place, good interior, well-groomed territory, just a delight at sunset.
In the kitchen: the kebab is excellent, the salads are wonderful, the mors is delicious, the chickenburgers are terrible, the potatoes are delicious, Tom-jan and akud sincerely Do not recommend.
Submission time: it couldn't be worse! From the moment of ordering to serving the first course, an hour passed with the veranda not fully planted at all. They brought a barbecue and 10 minutes later brought adjika to it, when there was only a quarter of the barbecue left.
The children waited for burgers, which turned out to be not with a cutlet, but with pieces of barbecue inside - for almost an hour and a half and brought everything cold. This is a fiasco. The fourth ordered coke was not brought at all, but it was not counted in the receipt either - they forgot.
Service: as you understand, right on 3. We were asked to divide the check into 2 families, we were refused and very politely.
A separate disadvantage is the convenience.
You can wash your hands under the tap over the bucket next to the kebab shop, because there is only one toilet in the restaurant (one booth for all), the bartender has the key and it is not realistic to break into it.
It is not possible for children to stand in line at all. Please think about this moment in a more serious way. 🙏
The restaurant was chosen based on reviews, here the ratings are 5.0- well, they do not coincide with reality at all.
We have been vacationing in Pitsunda for several years. The views are great, the location is great. The staff is different, as luck would have it) the time of submission is also different. Most often, you have to wait 30 minutes or more, sometimes you have to wait an hour. There have been a lot of questions about the kitchen lately. I do not recommend burgers, lemonade is very good, but it is also not always equally good. The kebab is not bad, the wings are tasteless. I didn't like the Caesar salad either. Soups are also a fiasco for price + quality. I think you can take a hookah, it's normal. One of the advantages is often live music. Prices are above average. Therefore, see for yourself, in general, this is a good place in Abkhazia, but there are better ones)))
Abkhazia is a country with a rich history and unique culture, which undoubtedly reflected in its national cuisine. Tourists visiting Abkhazia have the opportunity not only to enjoy local culinary delights, but also to immerse themselves in a unique atmosphere of hospitality and friendliness. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants in Abkhazia and in Pitsunda in particular — it is difficult to navigate if you do not know the specifics of the local cuisine and service. The reviews on the maps are, as usual, contradictory and more often frightening.
Today I will tell you about Argo Cafe why some people come here for the third year in a row and we also came here.
Agree, no matter what the purest sea and wonderful fresh air are, to make your vacation comfortable and full-fledged, only natural components are not enough. It is very important to find a good place to live, and a place where you can eat tasty, satisfying, and not too expensive.
Cafe "Argo" is located in the heart of the Pitsunda-Musser Nature Reserve, among century-old relict pines and right on the shore of the purest sea. To be more precise, the cafe is located at 45 Gochua Street, in Pitsunda.
The Argo cafe has a pretty impressive territory. You can walk around the beautifully landscaped grounds. Children have the opportunity to break away from adults and watch cartoons on the big screen. Do some painting on the water, ride a swing, eventually go down to the beach and take a walk on the beach under the supervision of parents.
The interior of the cafe is designed in the best traditions of beach design, with an open veranda and sea views, a barbecue at the far end of the courtyard.
Lots of big windows, lots of green and wood. And what chandeliers are there!
Of course, the main and undeniable advantage of the cafe "Argo" is a huge outdoor veranda overlooking the sea, which offers simply stunning views. An ideal place in Pitsunda, where you can meet the sunrise or sunset.
The sound of waves, the cries of seagulls, the scent of relict pines and the sea, occasionally passing boats and almost every day dolphins come here at sunset to frolic. It's a pleasure to watch all this with a glass of wine, cocktail or something stronger, snacking on all this amazing cuisine.
The food and drink menu is quite extensive, at a price slightly higher than other restaurants in the city, but is it worth it, to pay an extra hundred or two hundred rubles for the atmosphere and views?! Yes, of course.
The menu offers both Caucasian cuisine, as well as Mediterranean and European cuisine. Along with salads, seafood and fish, you can order pasta, pizza or focaccia, burgers. The bar menu includes regional wines, Abkhazian vodka, a variety of cocktails and so on. The prices, as I said, are acceptable, cheaper than Sochi and Adler, but slightly higher than Pitsunda.
The service is quite fast and pleasant.
Eggplant rolls were pleasantly surprised - spicy with a crispy crust and garlic. Just like I love it.
Children love potatoes and pasta, so they ordered carbonara and fettuccine with chicken. Both pastas could not physically finish eating. The portions seem small, but the plate is deep.
Both pastas are cooked correctly, creamy, delicious, I boldly recommend.
I ordered the signature Argo salad: fresh, juicy, creamy. A rather original salad, this includes iceberg lettuce, tobiko caviar, sea cocktail and creamy sauce.
And, of course, a barbecue, as without it. Naturally, everything is done over an open fire, which makes the meat taste completely different. And then there's the sea breeze. My wife had beef and here I would like to say a special thank you: my wife and daughter left on women's business and I was very upset that the beef would cool down and become rubbery, but...to my surprise, this did not happen, both kebabs (neck and beef) were juicy, competently and properly fried.
It was delicious, in general, I can say that during the whole vacation we tried kebabs a lot, Abkhazia is a paradise in this business, I have something to compare with for 14 days in Sochi-Adler, I have never found a place where meat is delicious, as in the Crimea. So take it safely in Pitsunda, Gagra and Lake Ritsa.
What is the result? The lively sounds of the violin and saxophone, stunning views of the sea and the sunset sky, the enjoyment of familiar and new tastes of dishes and drinks - memories of this will repeatedly pop up in our memory, delighting the heart and warming the soul. When you are in Pitsunda, be sure to visit the Argo cafe.
We stopped by for dinner with friends on recommendation) sooooo decent institution, starting from the place where the restaurant is located and the interior, ending with the quality of food and service) ordered a fairly large number of dishes (assorted barbecue, warm salads, local dishes, khachapuri pastries) khachapuri is generally a separate topic, just insanely delicious, liked absolutely everything, friendly reception, we even got to an evening of live music) in general, I definitely recommend it, it's beautiful, delicious, excellent service, which is rare for Abkhazia) thank you very much, we were captivated by this place, plus we managed to start dinner at sunset, the view of course on the seashore is simply mind-blowing
We have been coming to Pitsunda for five years, every year we pass by this place - it looks like a kind of oasis on the seashore - an information stand, swings, wooden fences, benches, etc., but we still could not come in to sit. This time we chose a place on the beach of the rcdom, so we went to lunch many times. Therefore, we recommend fish soup and hashlama made of beef. Large portions, delicious and without excessive spices and fat, as we often came across here. One of the troubles is a power outage, and then they don't make coffee or bake bread (Otherwise it's fine, but really a lot depends on the waiter / waitress. One day there was no "our" girl, somehow everything went wrong right away - and the coffee was not thick, and the ice cream was not poured with chocolate... But these are small things, we do not attach importance to this on vacation. The views are amazing!
The best sunsets, great music (not chanson, fortunately) in the evenings. The leisurely service did not bother. The food is good. No frills, a basic set. The white wine of Dioscuria is pleasant. There wasn't always beer. But in any case, I always wanted to go to Argo
We arrived in Pitsunda for the first time and the first place was Argo cafe. Beautiful veranda, evening music, but questions about food. The kebab was served apparently not from the grill, but quickly warmed up, khachapuri in Adjarian is generally creepy: there is little cheese, there is no cheese in the bun, they brought barely warm. The only thing that was delicious was the carbonara. I did not think that I would eat pasta in Abkhazia. Of course, the presence of an additional one is also confusing.articles in the receipt - service! You probably won't find % for service anywhere anymore, usually this amount is already obviously inside. We won't go there again
A beautiful place, cozy inside and out, delicious food.
One of the disadvantages is the toilet. We waited a long time for the order to be accepted (there were people, a couple of tables), but the food was prepared in 25 minutes, they made an order before, but the girl forgot.
The hookah was smoked for 30 minutes, then the coals waited for 40 minutes, but they brought only 1 coal, which did not save the situation, then they waited a very long time for the bill…
In general, the food is delicious, the service speed is very lame.
It was May 8th, a great, soulful restaurant. The veranda has a beautiful view of the sea and the sunset. The food is delicious, and shish kebab, and fish, good cognac, they bring it quickly, the waitress is attentive, she often came up. Since we lived in a boarding house nearby, but there were no local sims, she also helped us call a taxi. The price tag is slightly lower than the Moscow one, they expected to spend more than they got for the company. In general, everything is great, we were satisfied, I recommend it
This place is in the very heart! Insanely delicious, the whole family is delighted! Bruschetta with salmon, sandwiches are both options, trout is very tasty. And what beautiful sunsets here, it's just incredibly beautiful every evening
The place is beautiful, it's nice to sit on the terrace, live music in the evening. In the season, you need to book a table for the evening. We booked a terrace, and they put us on it, but the table is on the 2nd line, the sea is not visible and it's hot. We were a big company, only lula and mashed potatoes were delicious. Risotto is just a stewed Hawaiian mixture, hominy is tasteless, the nuggets are overcooked, the fettuccine is stuck together, the pizza is a nightmare - khachapuri dough with suluguni. The lemonades were served warm, but there were no cold ones. But the waitresses are friendly)
Live music accompanied by delicious food on the shore of the best sea (the best bathing) almost every evening! There are favorite musicians! Have a good rest! This is unforgettable!
Alas, we did not like this restaurant from the word at all. Yes, it is very beautiful here, but all the beauty fades and fades against the background of disgusting service, unreasonably high prices and below average quality of dishes. We ordered 2 pieces of bruschetta for 400 rubles, the crust of bread is not chewed, it should be crispy, not rubbery, as if this bread had been lying for at least 4 days. Next, we took a fruit vase - half an apple, a full peach and half an orange for 650 rubles... Sliced vegetables 550p, one cucumber, cut into rings, 2 small tomatoes in quarters, and half a pepper in slices. The cucumber is impossibly bitter, they asked to replace it - the waitress waved it off and very impolitely informed them that all their cucumbers were fresh and no one complained.
The waitress deserves special attention. A very unpleasant madam, rolls her eyes at any request or question and responds very dissatisfied. I asked for the password from the Wi-Fi (it's a common thing in Abkhazia, isn't it?) she didn't even stop, flew past and muttered something on the way, I didn't understand anything and asked another waitress, who answered normally. She asked about the toilet, "ours" again waved her hand in the direction of the bar and ran away to another table, it turned out that she had to take the keys at the bar and go outside the cafe to a tiny cubicle (another waitress told us this again), another minus of the establishment, by the way. I asked what was in the fruit basket because I was allergic to kiwi, in response I heard in a dissatisfied tone, "what is in the kitchen, they will put it, it is necessary without kiwi, it will be without kiwi, what is the problem?". Is this how waiters should communicate with customers? It's like we're some kind of trash, and she's the queen here.
In general, I do not recommend this institution.
We were in April 2024, out of season. The dishes were cooked quickly enough, the fish was served on a large plate, beautifully decorated with local lemons with sesame seeds. The view of the terrace is picturesque with a view of the sea, dolphins have been seen. About the food: The mullet was delicious, but poorly cleaned inside, the potatoes were delicious in a rustic way, served in a bucket. The khachapuri boat with the egg was not tasty, the cheese dried up and turned into a dark crust, the bottom was burnt in parts, the price tag is higher than in Sukhum. The most annoying thing was that I wanted to treat my mother, because I ate a boat in other places and it was decent. They obviously don't know how to cook it here. The sofas do not have a very high back, it was windy and cool outdoors. Other visitors can be seen, if the back were higher, there would be privacy with a view of the sea.
A very beautiful veranda, with a stunning view of the sea, with a stunning view of the sunset, in the evening the saxophone was playing, in general, an absolute delight. I liked the kitchen and the salad and the hot stuff.
A wonderful restaurant. The kitchen and organization are at a very decent level. The location is great. The only thing is that the toilet is not very conveniently made. But, it seems that everywhere in Abkhazia this problem is equally unsolvable.
The beach is pebbly, but the most relish is that there is a pine grove two steps away, the scent of pine trees plus the shade from them. There are not very many people, there is a place to stay, the water is clean. There is a cafe and a restaurant. There are shops nearby.
The only good location is right by the sea. Thanks to the saxophonist for the music. Everything else leaves much to be desired. Terrible attitude towards visitors - if you have booked a table for the evening in advance in the afternoon, this does not mean that you will be seated at it in the evening. Whoever managed to do it sat down. Space prices for everything do not correspond to the quality of products and services. The kitchen is terrible. After an hour of waiting, instead of meat in Abkhazian, they brought three pieces of beef fat with veins, sprinkled with pepper and poured with adjika - 650 rubles. (I know what meat is in Abkhazian, but not in Argo), Caesar seafood salad consists of coarsely chopped Chinese cabbage and 3 (!) small shrimp on top - 550 rubles.
Very good location, right on the beach. I liked that they work late. You can sit quietly on the veranda in the evening, have a drink or smoke. I spent every evening there. Well-designed territory. I especially liked the presence of a horizontal bar: in the morning you will stretch a little - and into the sea. The people who work are very friendly.
Good afternoon, 30.09 celebrated the birthday of my wife Olga, we liked everything, the food is delicious, the serving is beautiful, the music is excellent, the waiters are attentive. Thanks more, keep it up.
A great place to meet the sunset on the beach with a cup of coffee, the portions seemed small, the food was generally good for me personally, all types of payment are available, excellent interior
A very atmospheric place, by the sea! Delicious khachapuri and unobtrusive, attentive service. For dessert, clean pine air, the sound of the sea and fireflies, of which there are many. Thanks to Argo!
A beautiful place, by the sea. There is no kitchen, provided that the price tag is above average, the location obliges). The meat is cooked in Abkhazian disgusting, large pieces of beef that are not possible to live in. I ordered this dish in different places, so I can compare what it should be. I definitely do not recommend it here! Beef tenderloin medallions are mediocre. Grilled cheese is far from a masterpiece. You could at least throw a spoonful of jam into a bowl, and not just bring a few pieces of cheese in a frying pan (with croutons). There were also several dishes, all not above average, I can't mention anything. If only you come to listen to a live guitar, saxophone or violin. Have a cup of tea and enjoy the sea views. Yes, the drinks were served 40 minutes after the order, the cold dishes were brought in an hour!!! I do not recommend an institution for eating, there are places in Pitsunda where you can definitely enjoy cooked dishes.
Unfortunately, we did not manage to visit the restaurant itself, but we used their internal delivery daily! Very tasty dishes, a large menu, nothing to complain about. Perhaps the best cuisine in Pitsunda, in the future we will order only here)
It's a great restaurant. We ordered two types of pizza there, Sea pizza is just delicious. You can pay in cash or by transfer. A cozy place by the sea.
To say that "Argo" is a disappointment is just to say nothing.
If you are used to good service and delicious food, you are definitely not here.
1) The waitress is extremely unfriendly. The order was accepted after 15 minutes of our stay in the hall, almost the same amount was waited for after drinks. Everything was done with an expression of great favor to all of us. I have no idea about serving dishes, how to put what and what is better to remove.
2) We were not warned about a possible delay in the kitchen. We are loyal customers and would have waited calmly if we had known about this possibility. As a result, everyone started to get nervous, because they waited for most of the order for more than 1.20 minutes. The landing at that moment was about 50%.
3) The children ordered burgers, which we actually waited for more than an hour, and they were served cold.
4) A friend ordered a barbecue, potato slices and adjika to it. It is worth noting that the meat is delicious. But the adjika was brought 10 minutes after the barbecue, and even longer after 10 minutes🤪
5) We were reminded several times about the drinks we ordered. Some of them have not been received.
6) If you want to wash your hands or go to the toilet, be prepared to get into the conditions of the train stations of the 2000s.
The manager and the owners should pay attention first of all to the staff. Poorly trained or poorly motivated people ruin the reputation of your institution. Your business is suffering, and you are losing money.
A beautiful sunset and a swing for atmospheric photos are perhaps the only thing I can recommend in this place.
Delicious, pleasant atmosphere. In the evening, live music, you can dance, but they cook for a very long time, they came with the family, ordered a dish each, salads and drinks, waited for more than 2 hours
We were in a cafe on July 8, 2024, the wait for attention was long, but this is nothing compared to waiting for an order. The waiter just couldn't remember him, he brought other people's bills all the time, they didn't wait either, I had to go to the bar to pay. But the most shameful thing is the barbecue. Where is the delicious Caucasian kebab? Come To Rostov-on-Don and learn how to cook delicious. Because this kebab is dry, overcooked and tasteless. Even the onion would have been pickled. Horror. The evening is ruined
VERY VERY slow service. The WAITER is extremely absent-minded. He constantly brought orders from other customers.
Burger, waiting 1.5 hours. In fact, they brought the wrong one, they ordered it, the order was branded ARGO, they brought a cheeseburger.
Lula kebab, waiting for 1 hour.
About the rack of lamb, a separate story. Probably the cook didn't even get to see the pictures of how it should look. Instead of tender pieces of flesh on a thin bone, they brought a piece of lamb's spine, with a small amount of meat. From the ordered 300g for 1960, 200g of bones remained. The ordered grilled vegetables, to the "square", did not wait.
A waiter with a big mole on his cheek, a HUGE MINUS. The cook should familiarize himself with what a rack of lamb is.
In fact, the food is delicious. There are no complaints.
Maybe we were just unlucky with the waiter.
Delicious cuisine , pleasant hotel, clean beach , friendly staff , waiters are neat , friendly , clean , cozy , homely , I want to come back again and again.
A great place by the sea!
You can have a delicious meal at any time.
And especially in the evening to listen to good music!
And the sunsets here are just a fairy tale!!!
I really like this restaurant. We have been vacationing in Pitsunda for the 3rd year and always come to Argo. Delicious cuisine, attentive service, pleasant music and awesome sunsets. I recommend you to visit.
The restaurant is located in a picturesque location, on the seashore surrounded by relict pines. The restaurant itself was built by Sovdepov and nothing has changed since then, everything is dilapidated and the furniture is too, I drank only coffee, because I didn't even want to try anything from the menu.
The most stable place. This is a story about how everything is high everywhere, the sea, nature, and the cafe will do just fine. They will look at the stars at a wonderful sunset and devour everything they give. The kitchen is in the barn, the toilet is outside, and the prices are like in a Michelin restaurant.
A great place to stay, I recommend it. Delicious foam, there is a beach with a small number of people and without rotoviruses. The children liked it too.
There used to be a great cafe with good service. But, unfortunately, after the change of chefs, the quality deteriorated. But the view of the Pitsunda sunset is beautiful here. The violin took my soul!
You can't go here for food. Only the view is beautiful. Wait at least 1.5 hours. The prices are too high. They will bring 200 grams. he lived for 600 rubles., and it says beef with vegetables. The fish was counted as half a kilo, and there is a maximum of 300 grams. One dish was not brought at all. They tried to express their dissatisfied opinion, so they yelled at us. The manager didn't even come out, apparently ashamed of the food and the attitude towards the visitors. Generally the worst place in Pitsunda!
We really love this restaurant in Pitsunda!!Delicious food (Achapa is delicious!!!), excellent waiters, and all the staff are very pleasant (entertained our two-year-old with the whole team :)), beautiful sea view. Prices are above average. We will definitely visit this place again!!
A place of incredible sunsets, you get incomparable aesthetic pleasure, a cafe restaurant with a soul, very pleasant staff, with an approach to the client, it is clear that they are happy for everyone, in Abkhazia you do not often meet this, for the most part the waiters are phlegmatic and unhurried, will or captivity. Unfortunately, we could not evaluate many dishes, since they came full, but we tried two anyway-this is a magical julienne with seafood, well, a sooo large portion, and an incredible strudel with apples, I can wholeheartedly recommend it, with cherries it was also delicious, but with an apple it was delicious, several times they came for it, in there are violin and saxophone live music on different days, maybe some other instruments, but we got to these. In a word, do not pass by, it is soulful here
insanely delicious cuisine, stunning sea views! Excellent pork kebab and no less delicious trout, the brazier works wonders.European cuisine is at a pretty good level, the chefs are professionals in their field. We ordered strudel for dessert, it lived up to hopes and expectations, it was delicious, tender! The atmosphere is incredible, great live music! The waiters are very friendly and friendly. In general, everything went great! We recommend you to visit! The highest level!
Yes, it's beautiful, even delicious, but the service is terrible, half of the dishes are simply not on the menu, they said that there was no WiFi, but as it came to paying, WiFi immediately appeared, miracles, a very long wait for dishes, people sleep inside the cafe building, 2 stars only for good food
We were in Argo on June 25, 2023, the last evening before leaving home after a vacation in Pitsunda. The cafe had a pleasant atmosphere, the violin was playing. I liked the service. We ordered a lot: the barbecue was on top, as was the boat, the rest of the dishes were also good. We were very satisfied with the evening and the service. We recommended the place to friends who vacationed here later, in July. They didn't get a barbecue, they only put 4 on other dishes. As they say, everyone has their own tastes, you can't please everyone. There is no limit to perfection, good luck and more customers.
An ambiguous place)
It is located in a not very convenient place, you just can't find it, friends brought us there.
The restaurant itself is made in the best traditions of beach design, with an open veranda and a view of the sea, a barbecue at the far end of the courtyard and chanson-pop music from "balalaika").
Amenities on the street, 30 meters away, and the key must be taken at the bar (. I haven't seen this for a long time).
In terms of food, we ordered a lot, the portions were large, we couldn't even finish something. Since we were going to the beach later, we didn't take them with us.
The food is a little bland, add salt and pepper to taste. In this case, I think it's more likely to be attributed to the advantages, since many people are on a diet during rest and too spicy or salty is not allowed.
The local grilled cheeses turned out to be especially tasty, and I recommend dishes made from them.
I also took a cradle - everything seems to be normal, but it seemed that the meat was not very fresh / today's, but I could be wrong.
The attitude of the locals and the staff is very interesting - everyone is very friendly, say hello, wish you a pleasant appetite and all that. It is somewhat unusual, but rather pleasant.
The price tag is rather Moscow, we had about 6 thousand rubles for 4, without alcohol, but we were hungry and ordered too much, as I wrote above.
So I rather recommend this restaurant to visit, as it is very decent in the area.
Great view! Don't even expect to get gastronomic pleasure! Just a big-money meal for Pitsunda. The service is weak. A lot of things are missing from the menu!
Everything is super and the view and the food)If you want to have dinner, come early to place an order and do not wait for a long time, since there is a big landing every evening, and when there are many orders, people did not wait and left.
