I read the reviews below, I can agree with many things, but I will write my subjective impression of this hotel)
The location is super cool, 5 minutes from the Blue Mosque and all the sights) There is also a tram stop, from where you can also go to all other attractions: Galata Tower, Taksim, ferries, etc ... also 5 minutes and you're on the embankment, the area itself is amazing. Quiet, peaceful, lots of cool places, parks, cafes, shops, and mosques. Very friendly neighbors around) this is the most basic thing we needed! And it 100% met our expectations.
The staff is super responsive! They will always help, they will tell you everything, they will prompt you, they will not deceive you. A few people speak Russian, the rest in English, in any case, everyone can always be understood and they understand everything. If something is wrong, contact the manager, he will solve any issues at any time of the day or night, he will always meet you halfway. We were fine with it! Everyone helped, everyone understood each other, solved all issues!
Hotel rooms. Very simple, not a suite, there are shortcomings, this area and the houses are all old, there are rooms with a very beautiful view, there is an economy on the 1st floor without Windows, yes. They clean every day, do whatever you say, again, tell the manager, he will solve everything. If you need a suite, you are not exactly here, but the price will be appropriate, an order of magnitude higher. We only needed to spend the night and swim. The water was always hot, the pressure was good. Plus, there was a beautiful terrace, from where a magnificent view of Istanbul comes off. What in the evening, what in the afternoon, what at night, is always amazing.
The breakfasts are meager, yes, but since I could not eat Turkish food, eggs with vegetables or porridge was a salvation for me) tea is always poured when you ask, the coffee machine is worth it.
In general, if location is important to you, you plan to walk, you need to spend the night, sit with a beautiful view on the terrace - then this is a great option. For everything else, go to the hotel for a lot of money.

I had a vacation here in June 2024. Very pleasant staff (there are Russian speakers) and a pleasant atmosphere. Minus the point for the lack of warning that all paths go uphill from the hotel, it is difficult to get to the sights:(

I was at this hotel in May 2024. I trusted my tour operator completely-but in vain. I didn't check any numbers, I just didn't have time before departure. As a result, they brought us to the hotel, yes, it is really located in the center, but in such a corner that if you leave the first time, if there is no navigation application, then you will not find it on the go. I arrived in the morning at 09.00, check-in from 14.00, I was met by a Russian-speaking employee, everything seems to be normal, I left my suitcase, went for a walk. I reached the Blue Mosque, literally 7 minutes. I returned to the hotel at 15.00-an aggressive, gloomy, bearded man is sitting, who does not speak a word in Russian, so he also told me that you had come to Istanbul-Turkish or English, please. Every second Russian tourist has a very strange behavior. It's my first time in Istanbul, it's wild for me, because everyone speaks Russian in the coastal zone, getting to know this beautiful city started unpleasantly. The same person, not being shy of anyone, spread out a rug, and with all the honest people he read prayers -he didn't care. There are a lot of rooms in the hotel, why not do it elsewhere? I am a religious person myself, but to treat the guests who paid you money in this way is extremely disrespectful to me. My room was an economy room-it turned out that it was a basement room without a window, although I had a window into the corridor, and there were no others. Everything would have been fine, but after a while such a stench started from the sewer that at least the guards shouted. It was slightly saved by closing the door to the bathroom. The linen, of course, is clean, there are no words. In 7 days, we changed 1 time, towels more often. A separate topic is food. I have breakfast. I have never seen such a meager breakfast anywhere. Instead of butter, margarine, tea - the seventh water of nia jelly, instant coffee, some kind of incomprehensible sausage. And if you come back later, you won't even have enough eggs. Cucumber overgrown with a solid oak peel - do not crack. A white loaf cut into horse pieces, in short a tin. Salt shakers have not been washed on the tables for a hundred years, they are all greasy, I took only a napkin. There is an exit from the dining room to the balcony, the windows are also all greasy, they are probably washed very rarely. In short, the horror is terrible. This is not a 3* hotel, but a 0* hotel. As a result, the rest is 100% ruined%

+ The hotel is in a great location. Within walking distance of major attractions: cisterns, ancient mosques, Grand bazaar, etc.
+ Excellent transport interchange. Tram and metro are within walking distance (3 and 10-15 minutes respectively), you can get anywhere, up to the Black Sea or the Prince Islands (Adalar).
+ The staff is friendly and helpful
+A roof terrace open to the guests, with a wonderful view
+- Breakfast is not bad, but rather boring: eggs, bread, vegetables and local sausages of questionable quality. 2 times in 5 days there was semolina porridge, coffee, tea in abundance (if you ask, you can pour it at any time in the kitchen)
- The rooms are the biggest disadvantage.
The hotel itself is quite old and requires renovation. We took the "standard". The hotel is divided into 2 parts. Initially, they settled in a neighboring building (adjacent to the main one), but the room was 2 × 2 meters and on the ground floor. We didn't like it right away and asked to be relocated, the administrator immediately went to a meeting and offered to see an alternative option without any problems. We liked it more (photo), it was for 3 people, although we were alone, but it was on the ground floor and the window looked out into the wall (rather than a window, but an exit to some former summer shower). Here we have already decided to stay, so that it would just suit us to spend the night.
There were ants in the room, not very pleasant, but in general we are tolerant people
The shower is leaking, but the pressure is good.
There is a minibar (also for 3- it is cold)
We cleaned every day (we left $1 for a tip, for motivation)
Shampoos, shower gel and towels were changed every day.
They didn't touch the TV
The air conditioner works well
result: In general, for this money, you should not be overly cautious and expect "all inclusive". It's perfect for an overnight stay. But we probably wouldn't have gone back there.

I'll start with the pros: convenient location and terrace, the pros end there, I was put in a room in the basement, it stank of dampness, a broken sink, a shower that barely works, torn linoleum on the floor, the staff does not speak Russian, although it is indicated that there is a Russian-speaking staff, the restaurant staff start yelling if you come earlier for breakfast (I was going on an excursion and at the reception I was assured that I could come earlier.

The joke is that I never checked in.
We had a rest in early February 2024. We bought a standard room.
Of course, like many people, there was a surprise waiting for us during the check-in - we supposedly have an economy.
The receptionist went to a meeting and checked us into his own hotel, opposite, in divas, for one day. I will not describe his shortcomings.
A day later, they checked back into another hotel next door with a tiny room. They decided to stay there, so as not to spoil their nerves.
On food: it's not as bad as they say here. Breakfast is like breakfast. My wife and I had enough of everything. We had rolls, cheeses, eggs, sausages, fried sausages, some kind of porridge once. Well, tea and coffee. I'm fine, there's 4 here.
The terrace is a buzz.
I will note the staff separately. There were two administrators. Speak Russian alone. Everything is OK with him. The second is an arrogant Turk who imagines himself to be a lot. An unpleasant type.
Well, the location - when checking in, it seemed far from the bus stop. The following days, the distance was not felt.
There are shops and cafes nearby.
We lived in neighboring hotels, but this one, I'm sure, is the same. It's cold in the room at this time. The air conditioner is at full power, but it blows from all the cracks. The bathroom is generally cold.
Conclusion - I do not recommend it.

A very wonderful place !, a convenient price (budget option) for a room with breakfast, where there were the freshest cheese of two types (such as suluguni, and some of their soft cheeses), eggs, sausage, sausages, jam, vegetables and olives with olives!!! For me, I don't have such a delicious breakfast at home sometimes))))) There are Russian-speaking staff at the reception, you can communicate with them on any questions, they will tell you everything! Oh, well, it 's like a C grade. Even taking into account that the hotel is three stars - among all three-star hotels it is on the top three. And it's not even about the meager filling of the room (no kettle, no mug, no fork)
And in cleanliness , if you are a squeamish person , you have nothing to do here
Even if you are not picky, it will still not be very pleasant
There is a conder- at least thanks for that , although I heard from the guests that it did not work in their rooms , and without it it is very cold in January since the hotel is not heated , there is hot water , the pressure is good
They even gave three soaps , shampoo and shower gel and disposable slippers for two for five nights
Just spending the night will do
But next time I'll choose a nicer place, it's just that this hotel was on a package tour

A small, cozy, albeit modest hotel in a wonderful location in Sultanahmet district. The terrace where we had breakfast added romanticism to the condition.
Yeah, the mosque is very close. I was inspired by waking up at 6.30 from a loud prayer, and my son was upset. This is for an amateur. The staff speaks well, both in English and Russian.

The location of the hotel itself is excellent, within walking distance of the main attractions. Grocery stores are nearby.
The hotel is unkempt, the rooms have not been cleaned in a week, only towels were changed and garbage bags were removed.
Breakfast is meager, it gets boring in a week and you have to eat only bread 😁
Only 2 of the staff are friendly and understand Russian and English.
The view from the veranda is good, but they don't clean it either.
Another disadvantage is the service at the mosque at 6 a.m. every day.

We rested from 6.04 to 11.04.2023 the hotel has always had hot water, it was raining, the air conditioner was turned on for warmth, we lived in 102 rooms on the 1st floor. The location is close to the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Topkany Palace on the other side, Bayazet Mosque, Grand Bazaar and shops are within walking distance. there is always a Russian speaker at the reception, from whom you can ask everything. They quickly fulfill requests.I liked that there are umbrellas on resp. Take them and use them. Kaa's food was always eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, butter, jams and bread, they did not go hungry.There is a coffee machine with a choice of cappuccino, latte and other types. Despite the fact that the standard was paid, the first night we slept in the basement economy. The curtains have not been washed since the time of Ataturk, the light bulb in the bathroom is barely alive, just so as not to miss the toilet, which was very unstable, a mattress and a half was put on a narrow cot: I tried not to move at night. The location of the hotel is convenient, BUT: the old quarter with narrow streets full of garbage, beggars and exhibitionists! What brightens up the impression a little is the view from the window to the sea.

I do not recommend the hotel! The wear and tear of the hotel is 90%, the photos from the website do not correspond to reality. There is no safe! Everything is broken (there is a refrigerator, but it does not work (all our fruits turned sour overnight (there is a hair dryer, but it went out after a minute and a half of work, there is not a single shelf in the bathroom, there is no toilet paper holder (the hose under the toilet is leaking, because of this there is always water on the floor, the balcony glass is broken and it is in four a local room for a family with children. There is a coffee machine in the restaurant, but it does not work either (and we took breakfast precisely because of the coffee((( The Bodice also worked intermittently. And the hotel is dirty, something could really be washed, but the cleaner is on the break, because she also combines work as a cook. It's untidy, the towels are dirty old, some are full of holes, they can't even buy glass mugs, there aren't enough of them for everyone and some are broken. But this is not the worst thing (we often went to Europe in economy class and it never scared us) At the hotel, the owner has a proven scheme (and Anex Tour officially participates in this scheme. The scheme of checking into a room in the basement, so that later you can change your room for an additional fee. The room in the basement is a former converted hammam, judging by the smell, without a hood (at anex tour on the website this category is called economy without a window, and in the hotel it is just economy, but even if you bought the standard category, then you will also be accommodated in the basement, because guests from Kazakhstan (of which there are 90 in the hotel%) they are given more or less numbers. During the week, we watched this mockery of our tourists every day. The rest was ruined on the very first day.

The hotel is located in the historical part of Sultanahmet district. Nearby are the Sokollu Mosque and the little Hagia Sophia. From the veranda of the hotel there is a million view of the Marmara Sea! Cleaning was daily, the room according to the category. There is breakfast. I liked it, I'll stay again if I'm in Istanbul.

The main advantage of this hotel is the included transfer from the new Istanbul airport to the hotel. even with an hour delay. As for the hotel itself (I intentionally do not call it a hotel) - gray towels, stale bed linen, very thin framed glasses - it is impossible to sleep either at night or in the early morning because of the noise in the hotel and the surrounding area. Breakfast is also very meager - powdered milk in the coffee machine and margarine instead of butter. I'm unlikely to visit again.

I liked the hotel, we rested from February 20 to February 25, 2023.great view from the roof, very responsive and nice guys at the reception.they changed our room at no extra charge.The manager of the Reshad speaks Russian very well.we had only breakfast, basically all the same, eggs, olives, cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers.but we knew that this would happen, because we chose a cheaper hotel, and that it would be in the city center.who understands the expression:,, price,quality,,I recommend.and there is also an excellent Wi-Fi connection both on the roof and near the hotel

We had a 3* room with a window, everything fits the filling. There is a hairdryer, mini fridge, TV. Our room was 104 - it is located right under the reception - so I do not advise you specifically to change it - if you have the opportunity, change it) the room was cleaned every day)
The breakfast price is standard, two types of sausage, cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes (very tasty!), there are fried sausages in tomato sauce, and boiled eggs or omelette, as well as olives, bread, tea, coffee, lemonade.
If there are any disadvantages, then the terrace on the top floor completely covers them! From the second day we took food with us and had dinner on the roof)
The staff mostly speaks English or Russian-English) you can understand each other)
There is free wi-fi, we were given access at the reception)
Well, the location of the hotel is super - within a five-minute walk of the main attractions of the historical center)

The hotel sucks. I do not advise you to move in there under any pretext. The bathrooms are mildewed, towels of dubious cleanliness and in the bathroom, the rooms are not really cleaned, the garbage is simply taken out and towels are sometimes changed. Breakfast is dull - only boiled eggs, tomatoes, pickled cucumbers, sausage, cheese and bread. And at the same time, you also need to ask for bread and eggs to be reported. The coffee machine is constantly breaking down and the staff blames the guests for this. The coffee machine has never been washed, never at all. In the kitchen there is a wonderful appeal to guests to be more modest in their desires to eat. It seems that the hotel does not have an owner, because a good businessman will not value his reputation so much and will not protect his property, rotting from mold. The only pleasant moment is a beautiful roof terrace with stunning views of the Golden Horn, and even seagull chicks on the neighboring roof.

We came with my wife at the end of April for 5 days. We were very surprised when we entered the room, because the only good thing was the view (of the Marmara Sea). The rest: torn duvet covers, water was flowing from under the toilet, the shower was clogged with a drain and mold on the sealant, shabby door frames. I had to go to the shower in rubber slippers. I would like to highlight the breakfasts separately. In all the days that we were there, we didn't see any proper food. What was provided: boiled eggs, tomatoes and cucumbers (if lucky), sausages (if lucky), a loaf, a couple of types of cheese, olives, semolina porridge and margarine. If you come to breakfast not by 8:30 a.m., then there is a high probability of finding an empty table with food. We often encountered a lack of clean cups and cutlery. Impolite staff, who do not know Russian well. The holiday experience is ruined. Of course, I don't want to come back. We do not advise anyone, although the hotel is located near the main attractions.
