Almost everything we ate was really delicious: borscht, fried lagman with beef, roast chicken, fried ham, Napoleon. You can take half a portion. The price tag is democratic. On the downside: I didn't like belyash and baursaks (they look like they're made from yeast dough for belyash). We ate baursaks at the goose breeding festival in Petropavlovsk - they were fried right in front of us in a cauldron on the street, these were real delicious Kazakh baursaks. But these are small things. The cafe really feeds for 5.

My husband and I were passing through from Omsk in September 2024 in Astana and saw the sign CANTEEN, it was very interesting and decided to go in. It was just a miracle! The portions are huge, everything is very tasty cooked at home, the assortment is large, the beer is delicious, and most importantly not expensive! Clean, cozy, the staff is smiling, very polite!
