A wonderful restaurant "Assir", which is located in the gorge, where it is always cool, the mountain river is noisy, waterfalls are pouring. It takes about 30 minutes by car from Sukhum.
The restaurant itself consists of many secluded corners and gazebos. It can be a gazebo above the water, or right on the cliff. Overhanging cliffs, a mountain river, huge boulders in the midst of a raging stream. Waterfalls are pouring everywhere, it's very beautiful around 🏞
AND DELICIOUS 😋
Local dishes are prepared in the gorge, there is a wine cellar with homemade wine🍷

A place where the food is really delicious: solyanka, boats, meat - everything was delicious, even out of season. We had a rest in the middle of October
I will not recommend homemade wine, I took dry white wine, it turned out to be semi-sweet, unfortunately, in Abkhazia they simply do not know how to make dry light wine :)
It's definitely worth going to the cafe after a walk! This is one of the few places where you can eat delicious food :)

The food is hot and fresh, the opinion is not unambiguous: something without salt - hominy did not seem clear to us, but something very rich - beans in a pot are super spicy and salted strongly, feijoa compote is above all praise, the fish is very good. Of course, the price for a full meal is high, but the place compensates for the impression. Impressions and emotions are only positive.

A magical place among abandoned villages, among mountains, well, you never expected to see such beauty!!! The place is very beautiful, well equipped with natural beauty for easy viewing and walking. Wonderful atmosphere. It is also very pleasant to be in the cafe. But the food is not tasty. The prices are higher than in Nartala, but it's not tasty at all. Chicken shish kebab is not a shish kebab at all: 2 small shanks without spices, unmarinated, simply cooked on the grill. Pretty dry. Cabbage salad is not made from cabbage, but from chopped Chinese lettuce, carrots and a little dill. Absolutely no salt or spices, just raw chopped vegetables. Caesar salad is the same, made from Chinese cabbage, a small amount of diced tomatoes, boiled chicken meat. In general, it is very tasteless. Wonderful Oriental coffee was brought in a dirty cup, they just spilled coffee while they were carrying 5 meters. And everyone waited for quite a long time. They didn't even bring drinks early.
For those who want to enjoy the beauty of nature, I recommend it. But go to another place to eat.

I definitely recommend visiting the Assir cafe in Chernihiv. This place simply fascinates with its picturesque location. The cafe offers stunning views of the falling water and the surrounding nature.
But the beauty of the place is just the beginning. The cuisine at the Assir cafe is simply incredible. I was impressed by the taste and quality of the dishes. The pork kebab I ordered was simply divine. The meat was tender and juicy, and the seasonings gave it a special taste. The lavash served with the kebab was perfectly fresh and fragrant.
The service at the cafe was fast and pleasant. The waiters were friendly. This really adds to the overall experience of the visit.
The prices at the Assir cafe will pleasantly surprise you. They are very reasonable and match the quality of the dishes offered. I was pleasantly surprised that such delicious and high-quality food could be available at such a price in such a place.
In general, apatkha Assir in Chernihiv is the best institution I have been to in Abkhazia. The picturesque location, incredibly delicious cuisine, fast and pleasant service, as well as reasonable prices make it an ideal place to visit. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is in the region.

Chernihiv - this place is an attraction of Abkhazia and is located outside the city of Sukhum, it takes approximately 1.5-2 hours by car from Gagra, if possible, be sure to drive yourself by car, rent a car on the border of Abkhazia and go ahead, it will be cheaper and easier, so you will see more interesting places.
Not far from Chernihiv, 7 km away are the Olginsky waterfalls, a must-visit place for tourists.
I liked Chernihiv itself, here you will walk along specialized decking and bridges in the valley of the Chernihiv Gorge, here you can find interesting locations for your photos.
Kitchen - I do not recommend eating anything here. At least, if poisoning happens, a couple of glasses of chacha will save you and you definitely need to add salt to it, or a jar of Coca-Cola for children, they will help your stomach earn)
Otherwise, take polysorb and enterofuril with you on trips, two days and you're on your feet)

We were there on 6.01.24. The promenade along the river is beautiful as always, with the rest so-so. The road to the restaurant has been repaired, even buses can get through, but you will not get pleasure from driving, only from the views. The order method is the same - you go to the window and find out what you can eat today. There is no electricity regularly, so there are kebabs, cradles, boats, and soup, tea and everything that, according to the staff, cannot be cooked on fire - by. We ordered a lamb kebab - we didn't even eat half of it and it doesn't look like mutton at all, pork is better. Salads, lula and khachapuri are quite edible. There are 3 toilets - 1 male and 2 female, given the number of people there is always a queue, even in winter.
