The best Cinderella Ballet I’ve seen so far. It has music by Louis Satchmo Armstrong, Jimmy Durante and a range of jazz standards which made this theatre’s repertoire gaining momentum from “an enlightenment” to real entertainment with audience willing to watch even standing for about 2 hours.

The pretentious and beautiful building of the new opera is designed in a pseudo-classical style (there is a lot of departure from classical proportions).
+ Ornate hall and hall.
+ Good visibility of the stage from any place (unlike the old buildings of the Bolshoi/ Mariinsky and others)
+ Good acoustics
+ The tiers of the auditorium are VERY similar to the Senate Hall from the 2nd and 3rd parts of Lukos's "Star Wars"
- a departure from the proportions of the task and therefore the building seems low and close to the ground
- windows and doors do not correspond to the proportion of the building and the feeling that you are in the "Tsigane Baroque" from some angles inside and outside
- a small repertoire and many days without performances... Which is strange to me. Take a look at the poster of the Mariinsky Theatre or the GABTA.
I listened to "Turandot" there - I left a pleasant feeling.

I love going there. Nicely. The mood always rises. I've been to various events, concerts, and ballets. The staff is always amazing: polite, learned, patient, and just beautiful! Nice people also work in the wardrobe, they serve very quickly, like nowhere else.
The design of the hall, halls, and exhibition space is cool.
The only thing that always upsets is that not everyone can drive up to the entrance. It is problematic to leave there if the event is massive, official

We were at the ballet "Kopelia".
We liked everything:
1. The stunning beauty of the main stage.
2. The cafe works quickly during the intermission.

This is the most gorgeous theater in terms of its interior decoration that I have seen. And I've seen quite a few theaters in my life. Mega-spacious, all in marble and gilt with crystal. Beauty is all.
The girls working in it are all matched. Apparently, they are selected there as well as in the Kremlin regiment. 😅
In general, the theater left an unforgettable impression on itself.
I also really liked the performance of the Karaganda Theater's tour (Khanuma's Tricks).

It's just legendary and the sound and surroundings are all fine, there are subtitles in English and Russian. I definitely recommend it to all guests of the city. Of the disadvantages, only a very low number of stocks in the bar / cafe. Champagne and sandwiches are disassembled in 2 minutes, there is no replenishment.

Часто здесь бываю, потому что это всегда великолепное зрелище. Великолепен сам театр, удобные кресла, современный, но в национальном стиле, изысканный интерьер, и всегда восхитительное зрелище! Профессионализм труппы выше всяких похвал, костюмы и декорации роскошные, постановки очень впечатляют. В «Сильфиде» ещё и техническое оснащение спектакля изумило! Просто обязательно к посещению, это настоящая жемчужина столицы. Парковка огромная, припаркуетесь без проблем.

Recently, I had a chance to visit the Astana Opera Theater in the capital of Kazakhstan. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of organization and the quality of the presentation. The theater impresses with its beauty and grandeur. The interior is designed in a classic style with elements of national flavor.
The performance we watched was just great. The actors played their roles with great skill and professionalism. The music was amazing, and the sets and costumes were just great.

Очень красивое место. Огромные люстры, позолота, бархат. Акустика шикарная. Были в большом зале на опере и в камерном зале на оркестре. Звук мощный, чистый, отлично слышно в любом месте зала. В полном восторге. Девушки сотрудницы очень красивые, как модели, в нац.костюмах, все подсказывают, вежливые. Репертуар обширный. Актеры, постановки интересные. Это то место которое хоть раз обязательно нужно посетить ВСЕМ. Встречает швейцар, интерьер выше всех похвал, очень много камня, позолоты, бархат в общем полное погружение в "дворянский люкс"! В гардеробе и в зале вас встречают молодые девушки в форменной одежде (в некоторых театрах ставят для этих целей пожилых людей, работа которых периодически портит впечатление в силу объективных причин). Звук в зале отличный, слышно всё в любой точке зала, над сценой телетекст (очень удобно если слушаешь на иностранном языке). Мы выбрали места на балконе и хотелось бы отметить что видимость хорошая только на крайних местах, на остальных местах балкона вид мягко говоря ограничен.

Поражает с первого взгляда.
Красивое монументальное здание. При входе сразу удивляешься необычной красоте и размеру вестибюля. Шикарные паркет и люстры. Все очень красиво! Таксист назвал театр одним из первых, где нужно побывать, приехав в Астану.
Были лишь в камерном зале, он небольшой, но уютный. Конечно, хочется теперь попасть в основной.
Открыт театр в 2013 году по инициативе первого президента Республики Казахстан Нурсултана Назарбаева. Это крупнейший театр Центральной Азии.
