The menu is great! Azerbaijani cuisine at its best. We came first of all for the main dish — shah pilaf, and we made no mistake with the choice. The pilaf lived up to expectations: fragrant, with the perfect consistency of rice, with meat, and they were also perfectly complemented by dried fruits. He was served traditional snacks — dolma and suluguni on the grill, which also did not leave anyone indifferent.
The service is excellent — attentive waiters, not intrusive, but always there if necessary. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant.
I will definitely come back and recommend everyone to try this place if you want to enjoy real Azerbaijani cuisine!

My daughter and I considered many options for how to spend a festive evening. we stopped at Astoria, the restaurant offered an interesting menu and a good program. The event started at 19:00. There was a reservation, which we paid 100% a week before the event with a selection of menus and a table. it was 180 rubles per person. All the points about the menu, the table and the payment took place in the telegram.
We arrived at 19.00, and a nice girl met us at the entrance. I checked our reservation or not, opened the list, our table was 37A, there was a dash in front of it, although others had marks, okay, we were offered to go to the cloakroom and then to the hall

Approximately 05/25/2024 we arrived to choose a place, we were met by a friendly girl, Evgenia, who told us everything and showed us and offered the best options for our holiday. I explained everything about the payment. We liked everything very much. After that, she told us that another manager would deal with us, who would contact us to coordinate the menu. 3 days have passed, and no one has contacted us, we called ourselves. They told you they would call you back, a day passed and no one called back. A day later, we called again, they told us they would call you back, and after 5 minutes, manager Farid finally called back, we expressed our dissatisfaction with him, to which he reacted violently, shoving all the blame on manager Evgenia, who allegedly had to send us the menu and coordinate. As a result of the conversation, he said that he would hold a preventive conversation with her, but refused to send the menu because we did not make an advance payment. The next day we made an advance payment, and after calling him again, he sent us the menu on May 29. We asked him to send us some standard menu options for such events in advance. As a result, on May 30, at 20.30, after another call, he sent us some kind of garbage with only tortillas. In our opinion, absolutely fuck off.
On May 31, we ourselves already went to the restaurant to make the menu, as we realized that it was impossible to solve the issues remotely with him. We went into the restaurant, we were met by a security guard, we asked our manager and Farid came out, to our question, where is Yevgenia, he said that after our conversation on the phone, where we complained that they could not even send us a menu, he fired her, since he is the head of banquets here, and she his subordinate.
As a result, he and I spent two hours compiling the menu, but we never made it to the end. He also deceived us with the payment, or rather with the cost, in the sense that he said, since you take a room for 20 people, then you should make a check for 20 hours at 170 rubles for each, despite the fact that you will be 13 people, it was to some extent a shock for us. We were outraged because there had never been such a conversation before.
Well, OK, we didn't have much options to refuse, because it's just not possible to find another place in 3-4 days, and the guests have already been invited. But at the time of the meeting with Farid, I was even ready for this option, because everything did not suit us, both the kitchen and his approach to our event, there was a complete feeling that we were greatly interfering with him and straining him. As a result, we agreed on something with him in 2 hours, but not everything, because he had some other important things to do. We asked to make a buffet for the guests at the entrance, to make a layout on the tables with the names of the guests, but Farid said that this was impossible. Because they are not an organizational service and he is not going to control it.
On June 4, in the evening, we arrived at the restaurant to leave alcohol and equipment for tomorrow's event and met Evgenia, we were very surprised because Farid said that she was fired. She was also in shock, but she kindly helped us. She said that she would organize both a buffet and a layout of cards with the names of the guests.
We left happy, because everything was clear and understandable with her.
On June 5, at 12 o'clock, Evgenia called and said that everything was ready, that by 16.00 she could arrive and everything would be ready. She organized the buffet and selected the dishes herself.
Arriving at the restaurant at 16.00, we were pleased with the organization on the part of Evgenia, by the way, I saw Farid out of the corner of my eye all evening, he just ran past once without even saying hello. Only at the end did he arrange a boorish meeting with an interrogation about what we didn't like. There are also a lot of questions about the menu that we made, because in fact the table was empty, and if Evgenia had made the menu, I think such a question would not have arisen.
