We had dinner at the Astoria restaurant with family and friends. We came by chance, had a rest in Aqua Minsk. Incredibly cozy and beautiful place! Incredible kitchen! The staff is wonderful! It's very beautiful inside. Probably outside, too, but in winter it is unclear and does not take my soul. We had dinner with the family (mom, dad, son and daughter) twice on February 20th and 22nd, 2024. Excellent service, separate respect to the waiter Turan. on the 20th we tried soups. The soups are very tasty, you will not regret it, you have tested them yourself: dovga, duchbar, broccoli cream soup, lentil soup and vegetable chicken soup in Caucasian style. Beef tartare for 29.0 rubles is five points, carpaccio for 35.0 is also good, but it would be better if the meat was placed immediately on a plate without a layer of unknown white sauce (my son refused to eat because of the sauce, but pine nuts on carpaccio were very good). The Sicilian sea bass for 80.0 rubles was good as a sea bass, but everything around it on a large plate is some kind of symphony. The dolma for 26.0 rubles was eaten, but was not impressed. But the dry white wine MEYSARI Sadaf for 110.0 Belarusian rubles was pleasantly pleased with the color, taste, and serving. Iskander cognac for 9.0 rubles for 50.0 g. soft, nutritious, but oh-oh-very sweet, too much caramel (I do not recommend it). There was also a salad with duck for 26.0 rubles, mango with spicy cherries, assorted sorbets/ice cream, mango-saffron dessert, water without gas 14.0 rubles for 850.0 g. and freshly squeezed juices for 10.0 rubles for 250.0 g. In total, by 522.0 Belarusian rubles. On the 22nd, we took a dry red Karabakh cabernet Sauvignon for 65
rubles. They took it because they had already tasted it before, an excellent wine. To eat, in addition to the proven soups, they took: kefte with grilled cheese for 29.0 rubles, suluguni cheese on the grill for 15.0 rubles and shah pilaf with veal for 65.0 rubles. It was just super delicious. The pilaf was served by the chef with a light, i.e. with fire, very beautifully. And there is really a lot of it, 1000.0 kg! That's enough for four people! We took half of it with us to the hotel. We also took water, juices, sorbets, desserts and something from the children's menu. The check amounted to 370.76 rubles. Decently less than the first time. An expensive restaurant, but very cozy and very tasty. I recommend it, but remember, it's expensive there. But if you don't lean heavily on wine, water, desserts and sorbets, then nothing is wrong...

The establishment is an example of service and taste in food. I come here regularly, bring friends and everyone is absolutely satisfied! Pastry chef Anna with her cookies for coffee just struck on the spot, which I want to note - the waiter asked if he liked it, and brought me and the guest more cookies!
The waiter Aristarchus very kindly served the whole evening, asked if everything was delicious, if sauces were needed.
Warm September and a summer terrace made the evening cozy, soft blankets were offered to us.
I sincerely recommend the establishment for both family and holidays. A very large area by the water, quiet music and very tasty dishes. I will definitely come back again !

I've been to this restaurant twice - at the very beginning of his work and recently. The place is beautiful and cozy. But I didn't like the first time, I didn't want to come back for 6 years. But the second time, I really liked it! The kitchen is excellent, the service is 10 out of 10. It was amazing that not only our waiter came up to ask if everything was okay, but even people passing by came up and asked if we were comfortable, if we liked everything. I recommend it!

The place is quite average, the food for its price is not tasty, many good products do not combine in dishes or the refueling spoils everything, there is not enough balance on the menu. The staff is not very friendly, especially the man who greets and escorts to the table. The menu feature from the tablet seems especially strange, it does not add convenience, dirt, dust, and greasy finger marks are strongly visible on the tablet. There is a nuance in the service, of course, it is not critical if you treat it adequately, you just need to "on time and clearly" convey to the waiter if you additionally need anything, I think you should take into account that the waiter is attached to a certain table (and not one), and not to the visitor, perhaps there is a "chance" to make an offer ...something like ... a "personal waiter" and for sure everyone will be happy, although we were satisfied anyway, and I am quite moody by nature!
As for prices, yes, it's not cheap, but when you choose an institution, it's not a secret and it's unwise to complain about it.
The food is cooked well, delicious, I do not understand why there are unflattering reviews about this, I assume you need to eat, and not wait for conversations until it cools down.
I agree with the reviews that the Restaurant would do well to add a more extensive selection of wines, yes, it's true.
My subjective opinion is that the institution is designed for those who just want to take a break from the hustle and bustle, it will be a wonderful choice and place for this purpose.
We went there on the advice of friends and did not regret it. To all the staff, thank you so much for your hard work!
I can't say anything about the celebrations, we didn't participate.

I came to have lunch with my family. The price tag is above average. The price-quality ratio leaves much to be desired. It is not realistic to wait for the waiters at all. The feeling that I got into some kind of Russophobic place, the waiters of non-Slavic appearance are talking to the same people in their own language. Of the ordered, I liked only the duck salad (therefore 2 ). I had an expensive, not tasty lunch with poor service and in an unpleasant environment.
