Very nice hotel, clean cleaning and polite staff.
For a budget beach holiday, I really liked it.
In the service, you can order beer with room delivery at a price much cheaper than in two alcohol-free special stores on Deira milking tourists!
Nearby there are bus stops C28 and C15 that go to Al-Mamzar Park, where there are 5 picturesque beaches. I liked beaches #3 and #4 better.
Clean water, clean sand and few people (end of April).
However, the entrance to the park is 5 dirhams and tickets must be purchased by card at the vending machine!!!
The metro is also nearby.
The C15 bus at the other end goes to Deira City Center.
minuses:
There are no Russian-language programs in the TV program - none.
The staff, even at the reception, do not know a word of Russian.
We had a rest in Dubai from December 12 to December 24, 2017 at the Avani 5 hotel. Deira district. At the reception, the Russian-speaking receptionist, Omar, was very friendly and helpful. The settlement took place quickly, even earlier than the scheduled time. The hotel is beautiful, a Christmas tree with dancing Santa Claus was decorated. The room was spacious, with a huge bed, clean linen. Cleaning every day. Towels are changed daily, 2 pieces per person. The room has a kettle, hairdryer, ironing board, iron, large TV. Tea, coffee, sugar, cream were also reported daily. We had a buffet breakfast with a variety of dishes included. There were always fresh vegetables and fruits, dairy yoghurts, tea, coffee, milk, pastries, juices, smoothies, meat and cheese cuts, eggs in various variations. Everything is delicious and satisfying. Lunch was offered for 45 dirhams from 12 to 16h. From 9 a.m. departure by hotel bus to La Mer beach. Make an appointment beforehand. It's convenient, but returning from the beach at 12:30-13h with this bus seemed a little early, I wanted to stay on the beach longer. We were satisfied with the rest. We recommend it!
I have been to Dubai five times., I consider this hotel worthy, I will safely put it in second place among those that I was. Everything is clean and well maintained inside. The staff is helpful. The metro is no more than 5 minutes away. There are a lot of shops nearby places where you can eat.
What I didn't like was the location of a specific hotel, zero claims, the nearest station is Deira (green line) and it's quite problematic to get from the red line, even though you only go two stations to two stations, you'll go like in a tin can. A lot of the working class lives on the Dri and then from the red branch everyone is transplanted and there is an incredible crush, both in the morning not to leave and in the evening not to arrive
+ near the metro, a store with Indian clothes (bought jeans, T-shirts, underpants, socks and an Italian backpack), 2 pharmacies.
There is a swimming pool and a gym on the roof. The staff is friendly. The windows in the room do not open, the central ventilation is working. The sound insulation is excellent, the room is large, cleaning is daily. They provide slippers, a bathrobe, toothpastes, brushes, shampoos, soap. There is a kettle with tea and coffee.Bottled water is changed every day.
- very very tasteless food. This applies to the entire UAE. Don't wait for meat, fish, seafood, bread. They survive on fried eggs and fruits. The menu does not shine with variety. Really, take a bag of food from home.
Very convenient location. It is not far from the airport, the metro is within walking distance. The staff is courteously polite, you can contact the staff with any questions. We took an executive room with a lounge. Very profitable and convenient! This option was supposed to include a transfer to the palm beach to the Anantara Hotel! It was great! The food is cooked deliciously. The lounge is cozy with a good selection of alcohol and a relaxation area. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Minus- no balcony and dirty windows. But this is often in Dubai.
Nice hotel in the old Dubai area. There are many shops and cafes nearby with reasonable prices. There is a swimming pool and a sauna on the roof of the hotel. The room is clean, cleaned daily.
Well, the hotel obviously does not pull at 5 stars. We had a rest in April 2024. On food: there is a poor choice, there is not much variety.
Perhaps this is due to the fact that the hotel was half empty. But still, such food does not pull 5 stars.
The room is generally not bad, clean, spacious, the service is also good, the staff is friendly.
The hotel is located in the working quarter of Dubai. You can get to the sea by city bus or transfer from the hotel. There is a subway nearby.
Nice hotel. Breakfast buffet. The pool is on the roof. Cleaning every day. One of the disadvantages for me personally is condey. It's cold in the room even with the air conditioner turned off.
The most important thing is that this hotel is not a 5 star! These are the usual 3 apartments with a rooftop pool. Unfortunately, the pool is dirty, there are only three sun beds for the entire hotel, there is no view from the pool, because there is a wall around. The hotel itself is in need of renovation. It is located near the airport, so planes fly almost over the hotel. The Deina district itself is an area of immigrants from Pakistan and India, so the surrounding color is appropriate. Near bus stops and metro (5 minutes walk). If you plan to walk in the center every day, it is better to find another hotel, because a trip by metro in both directions will cost at least 15 dirhams. You can take a bus to Sharjah in 10 dirhams. The free shuttle to the beach was canceled due to the coronavirus. You can get there on foot in 50 minutes, by taxi in 7 minutes or by bus in 20 minutes and 3 dirhams. But the beach is clean and divided into two - free and paid (entrance 5 dirhams)
Breakfasts are not bad in principle, but after a week the food will get boring. There are many supermarkets and restaurants of Indian and Pakistani cuisine near the hotel. More expensive restaurants are 20-30 minutes away on foot. In short, this hotel is suitable for unpretentious travelers or those who need to spend 1-2 nights between flights at Dubai Airport. And if you add 20-30 $ per day, then you can find pretty good hotels in the center of Dubai with at least some kind of view from the window ... When you check in, they take a tourist tax of 20 dirhams per day
We had a great day here between flights. The airport is 30 minutes by metro. Dubai Mall Fountains are 25min away. The station is 4 minutes on foot. The price-quality is super (5* with an excellent breakfast for less than 5000 rubles.)according to the action.
