A great place for a family vacation. We were on the day when the festival was held (There were a lot of people, a lot of fun, there were all kinds of free entertainment for children. There were cafes on the territory, however, due to the large number of people at the festivals, they stood in line for 1 hour) You can take a boat ride, have a great time)
This is the most wonderful moment of my trip to Belarus, just a hit this summer. We reached the place using the navigator, along the way we were very surprised to be stopped by the border guards (they also stopped us back). They showed their passports and drove to the place.
The parking lot is large, there are several entrance places on different sides of the canal. There are bike paths with signs of settlements and the distance to them.
The gateway itself is not large, it is an interesting structure, but the inspection will last for 10-15 minutes. We didn't have time to go to the museum - it was closed.
In my opinion, the gateway is a bonus, and the beauty of the place is in the channel itself. There is a weak current here and pedal catamarans are rented. They took 15 rubles for 2 hours (I can make a mistake in the price). It is very comfortable to sail in both directions on a catamaran, and there is silence around, amazing nature, a swan with his baby swam up to us without fear. There are many berths - you can fish. Before our eyes, a couple caught a large ide, there is a pike. They weren't allowed to swim at the rental, but honestly, they violated it.. we found a sandy beach, moored and swam with a high.
For a fee, you can drive up to the gazebos by car and go fishing, swim and roast meat (there is a barbecue).
The ship sails every hour - there is an opportunity not to pedal, but to look at this interesting, historical and very atmospheric place from the deck.
Come here- it's great here.
There's probably a lot more here-we couldn't see it all before dark.
I really want to come back.
I love the atmosphere of the locks of the Dombrovsky Canal - the feeling of traveling to another country. There is always something to have fun with: take a walk, sit in a cafe, and take a boat ride. There are good forest lakes nearby for swimming
