Rested in August 23, the company of 4 families with children. Of the cons... They almost died from the heat and stuffiness, but the locals say that they themselves do not remember such a horror. +39 in the shade and 85-90% humidity. This does not apply to the camping itself, but it must be taken into account, since there are not particularly winds, and the territory is not blown through, under the awning like in a bath. The sea is dirty in the first half of August! Nailing mud, sawdust and other debris, a strip of black mud about 10 meters, then the water is clean, but the children are rinsing in the mud. I went to the sea 300-400 meters on my windsurfing, everything is OK there. They say that in the period June-July the sea is completely clean. We went to the beaches in Gudauta, the sea was always clean there, and the camping is creepy, it's a shame!!! Of the pros... the territory is really guarded, everything is fenced, cameras are everywhere and guys are making rounds. A few points with clean water, take as much as you want. The regime is observed, after 22 silence, watch. There is a small shop on the territory, cold beer is not always, but it was. We lit up late once and got a suggestion for loud music :) There are a lot of toilets and they are regularly washed, for this special thanks! The staff is strict but friendly. By the way, how much we agreed in advance and paid (thanks to Osman). There are cypresses on the territory, they are cared for and watered. Gudauta is 10 minutes away by car, there is everything you need to eat. If someone is sick, Gudauta has an excellent city hospital, friendly people, and good doctors. We did not have rotavirus, one daughter caught an acute attack of allergy to the sun, the second had tracheitis, they helped in the hospital, and you had a drip and tests for pennies! But the hospital said that there are a lot of people with rotavirus, both tourists and locals are sick. We were lucky, we managed without rotavirus. Camping has nothing to do with it. In general, the place is normal, there are no complaints about the camping itself, but you need to go from mid-June to mid-July, otherwise you can glue the fins from the heat and stuffiness, plus in August a dirty sea!
The beginning of May. It rained at night. The temperature dropped. I am writing to you from a warm sleeping bag. The campsite is already hosting guests) We visit here every year, camping is developing, this year we started building small houses.
P.S. the dogs from the campsite are called Palm and Charlie.
A great place to relax, quiet, the sea is nearby, the bathroom is clean, there are toilets, there is a warm and cold shower, sockets for charging the phone, Wi-Fi, if you want to live in a tent or there is a hotel. When I go to Abkhazia again, I will always rest here.
A good place. The sea is nearby. There is water all around the perimeter. Electricity is supplied to each place for the tent. Responsive staff. Adequate prices. There are two cafes nearby.
Positive:
- A good camping location (approximately in the middle of the "country of the soul"). It is possible to profitably go on tourist trips both ways (towards the border with the Russian Federation and Georgia) without driving extra kilometers and without spending money on fuel;
- Proximity to the sea;
- Places in the shade of trees for camping;
- Availability of showers (cold and hot). But cleanliness and hygiene need to be tightened up by the owners of the campsite, because not all people are happy to go there;
- The presence of a mini store on the camping site where you can buy seasonal vegetables, fruits, nuts, etc.
Minuses:
- Lack of personal space. The tents are very close to each other (less than 3-5 meters). You can't help but hear what other campers are talking about and "enjoy" the snoring of sweet sleepers;
- The presence of absolutely inadequate neighbors who believe that you need to relax with loud music and in a drunken stupor. Allegedly, they are allowed to play pranks and listen to moronic music until 23 o'clock, and after 23 o'clock, under the influence of alcohol, they no longer care that normal people are resting nearby and the party continues. The owners of the campsite made remarks to the raging buffoons several times.
- Uncontrolled behavior of children of drunk and inadequate parents. Children are left to themselves (screaming, yelling, throwing stones, etc.). In turn, children of normal people behave quietly and peacefully.
- When calling the owners of the camp, before checking in, specify what electrical power they can provide at the connection point. In fact, the power is very low and you will not be able to use electric kettles, heaters, etc. During the rest, electricity was lost several times (presumably automatic machines were triggered due to network overload). Although the owners warn at check-in about the prohibition of using electric kettles, etc., but in fact few people observe this.
If you prefer to relax in peace and quiet, under the sound of the sea and the singing of birds, and also appreciate personal space, then you clearly do not want to go to this camping during the peak season.
If you are an ordinary, average, resident who prefers to relax with alcohol and listening to loud music, then this is your option. At the campsite you will find the same lovers of "rest" and will be happy to celebrate this event by pouring alcohol into your bodies. Moreover, your children will see this obscenity and will consider it the norm.
The very idea of camping is very good. The owners are good people. Upon arrival at the campsite, they explain the rules of conduct and ask not to interfere with other vacationers. But the contingent of vacationers in the month of August left much to be desired. Perhaps at the end of September and in October there will be fewer vacationers and there will be a personal space and an opportunity to relax without drunken buffoons.
I do not recommend going to this campsite.We arrived, stood for two days, in the evening it was necessary to empty the toilet, we could not open the cast-iron lids on the new septic tanks, politely.we asked the guard - the "owner" Dima to help us, nothing supernatural, went to open it with great dissatisfaction, he could not open it the first time, on the offer to attach a handle as in all campsites, x were sent in a rough form.., word for word, said get out of here you are guests, and he is the owner here and if We're not leaving, he's going to do something at night. That is, he created a conflict out of the blue. They also had the audacity to take money from us for such an attitude. Then he walked around us while we were packing and tried to prove to us that it was our fault. I think even if we assume that we were wrong about something (we just asked to open the hatch) the owners do not behave like this, they value their reputation and conflicts must be smoothed out and a compromise must be found. We were there last year, the attitude was normal. For 16 years of the campsite's existence, only this year they bothered to make normal toilets, showers are generally creepy, on the beach. I will definitely leave a review on the website of the Ministry of Tourism of Abkhazia so that you pay attention to this campsite and the attitude towards tourists who come to relax FOR MONEY. But thank God not all Abkhazians are like that, in another place they met only a good-natured attitude and a desire to help at any time, to any request.
Good camping. There is everything for convenience: toilet, shower, water, sockets, Internet. But! Vacationers are always littering in the shower, and so are the toilets. Camping suffers because of such untidy campers.
There are few outlets and it is necessary to connect to the extension cord of the neighbors. There are no complaints about the owner of the campsite, the problem is in the tourists themselves, who screw up as best they can. Of course, music is annoying at night. And when you ask to make it quieter, they just send it to 3 letters. It's impossible to sleep! And in the evenings, right before going to bed, bonfires are burning on the beach and the smoke carries into the tent and it's hard to sleep at night, there's nothing to breathe. There are insects, take something from them. And so the place is cool, there is shade, you can hang a hammock.
It's great here! Perhaps, at the moment, the only camping site in Abkhazia of this kind. On the territory there is a shower with hot and cold water, toilets, gazebos, Wi-Fi. Fruits, vegetables, and homemade wine are sold on site. There is a shop and a cafe nearby. Friendly and hospitable hosts. I liked everything! The only thing is that we got into the rainy season and the sea was a little dirty. The beach is wild, pebbles. By the way, it is also a very convenient location, from there it is close to all tourist points (New Athos, Pitsunda, Sukhum, Lake Ritsa)
In August, the sea is muddy near the shore, and in September it is clean and transparent, like a tear. In general, I liked everything - there is a shower, electricity, too, a civil toilet, dishwashers, too. There was shade from the trees, but not everywhere, there were a lot of caterpillars, but measures were immediately taken to destroy them. In general, everything is great.
10 daycife# Achandara Camping (Poplars) under the trees..! All the amenities, the view from the tent to the sea - snap or storm - it doesn't matter, swings and Sap boards, cones in the mornings and bonfires in the evenings - what else is needed for happiness.?! Nearby there is a cozy cafe with cool music and delicious cuisine - the chefs and staff - just bravo - did not expect such vivid taste impressions ..!
Good luck and prosperity to all!!! In September 2022, our family was lucky enough to visit Abkhazia!!!! We were a family abroad for the first time. Information about the places of visit began to be studied in a month. Achandar camping was chosen based on the number of reviews and did not lose. We liked this camping sooooo much!!! If you can go to the store without a grocery shopping list and calmly treat the usual living conditions, then you are here!!! Light, water, warm and cold showers, Internet and many other interesting things. The location allows you to move in all directions of Abkhazia, as the campsite is located in the center of Abkhazia. The beach in kempeng is excellent, the sea is calm. It is also important that there is security in the campsite. There are three kids in our family from 1.5 to 6.5 years old and we felt great!!!! The children are delighted and we are happy. If anyone else doubts, do not doubt, you will not lose. We recommend it!!!!!!!!!!
Cozy camping. Excellent hosts who are ready to help in everything. There is a toilet, hot shower and electricity. On the seashore. Lots of trees for shade . Not an expensive price.

He has been vacationing at this campsite for the 2nd year in a row. I really like it. Cozy, clean, it is clear that the owners are watching him. Development is not in place, good toilets have been made this year (which is not unimportant). There are all conditions for a comfortable stay, especially for novice campers, lights, sockets for each place! Special thanks to the owners, after going to the mountains, our muffler broke, we turned to Dima for advice on where to brew, he suggested and we repaired the car.
In general, thank you guys for your hard work and hospitality 🙏🏻
A cool place, the first coastline, the sea beyond the fence.Good location. Car camping. You can camp with tents. The price per person is 250 rubles a day, for a car 100 rubles a day. The territory is fenced, green, shady. Well-maintained. 2 bathrooms. There is a washing machine, a refrigerator. There are carvings on each tree. There is a barbecue area. Everything is clean. There is a two-storey building with comfortable rooms, a shower and a bathroom in the room. TV, air conditioning. Everything is clean in the room, clean bed linen. There is a gazebo on site where there are tables and a gas stove for cooking. We really like it.
The place itself is ideal for camping. Good conditions. A normal toilet. A country shower. Sandy clean beach.
Do not take wine at the campsite itself, they dilute it terribly. It's better to go to the store. He's not far away.
We did not live at the campsite, but we took subs there, the price is the lowest - 500 rubles per hour. They have not seen it cheaper in Abkhazia. We walked around the territory, very clean, a lot of trees giving a pleasant shade. A great beach with a gentle entrance!
Good camping. We arrived tired in the evening, the owner met us, told us everything, showed us where to stay.
There are 4 toilets on the territory, 2 showers with hot water, there are rooms if someone does not want to spend the night in a tent.
The cost of a tent place is 300 rubles and 100 rubles a car per day, respectively.
The tent city is located on the seashore, there is a lot of space, there is a shower, a toilet, a retail outlet, a cafe is located nearby. The territory is closed and guarded. A good place for fans of camping and budget holidays
Good camping, the toilets are clean with toilets. We hope the showers are also being restored. There is a shadow. The store is nearby. Hot hydrogen sulfide springs are nearby. Grass, no flies. The hotel is located on the territory with good prices.
Like it.
It's just a fairy tale!!! The best camping on the Black Sea coast!!!!

We had a rest in September 2023, we were lucky with the weather, I put 5 stars on the camping, the territory is well-groomed, trees are planted, there are plenty of places for cars and tents, the location is also good, not far from New Athos, Pitsunda, Gagra, Ritsa. In the 12 days that we were, everyone traveled, the beach is clean, free, which also pleased me, about the staff : modest, hardworking people. The price is probably the lowest on the entire coast, which is important for vacationers.
Great place, camping is perfectly equipped, water, light, summer shower, hot shower, su(but wish to be better)
In general, a great place to relax with a tent, I was there twice, everything was fine, the attitude of the owners is excellent, they respond quickly to comments and suggestions, there is also Wi-Fi for those in need of the Internet. The beach is great, the pebbles in the water are hard to get used to or special shoes.
If it were possible to put 3.5, then it would be a more honest assessment.
4 families arrived, they had been warned about this earlier and that we had large tents. In fact, we have allocated a place where you can put "pop to pop" only 2 tents.
There are a lot of people. There were water outages.
And separately, of course, it has nothing to do with camping, but the sea is very, very dirty....
Everything is fine, but there are several suggestions for improving the service. The first is to clean the toilet more often, the second is to add several shower stalls and the third is to make a canopy next to the roof...
We were in August 2022. We lived for 10 days. We arrived early in the morning. We settled in, found a place in the middle. Among the advantages: its own drinking water, electricity, proximity to the sea, shade in the trees, fenced territory, payment can be made on the card, I also want to note that the beach was cleaned of garbage. There are no complaints about the organization itself. Regarding the places for tourism, it is optimally located. There are gorgeous mud springs nearby, by the way. New Athos is not far away. It is a 1-1.5 drive to Ritsa. Sukhum is also nearby. We can say that we lived in the middle of the Sukhumi highway. I was a little unlucky with the sea: it was stormy, so the water was often not very clean, but it was a matter of chance - it was straight clean for a couple of days. A year ago, the guests said it was very clean. A 10-minute walk to the river: it's super there, the water is cool, clean, there are places where it merges with the sea - there is a contrasting pool.
Now it's not about the place, but about the human factor. Love, appreciate and respect your children and loved ones!!! And teach them respect for others. Respect the people around you: they came on vacation, and not to listen to your endless showdowns, screams and yells, including at children, loud music and night "rzhach", and close the door in the toilets - it doesn't smell like daisies from there.
Yes, about the garbage!!! There is a lot of stuff lying around outside the beach area of the camp along the entire coastline. If possible, then collect and take away as much garbage as you can, burn what is possible by making bonfires. Anything is better than complete indifference and acceptance of this darkness of human waste. I understand that this was caused by storms, but a small contribution to a big cause will make itself felt. Thanks for reading the rest
A large camping area. Convenient location to the sea. There are two 220 V sockets near each place, and drinking water. There are many trees to hide from the sun. Also on the camping site there is a cafe, a shop, a refrigerator, a washing machine, two toilets, two showers. Chain stores are located nearby.
Inexpensive. The sea is nearby. There is a cafe across the street where they cook very tasty. We made a good toilet with 4 cabins. We went the second time.
The most convenient camping in Abkhazia, we have seen many different things :) More details: 2 showers (summer and with warm water), toilet, kitchen, sockets near each place of the tent, a car can be parked on the territory, a cafe with a good kitchen 50 meters from the Camp, the first coastline, pebble beach, shops are not far away (7 minutes on foot) accept cards. The camp is next to the road. Lots of greenery and tennis courts, lawn. There is a hotel. Friendly manager, always on site.
Among the advantages: the presence of a shower (cold and hot), electricity, Wi-Fi.
Cons: We had a place right between one and the second toilets. Therefore, there was a stench in our camp almost day and night. This is already a huge disadvantage.
There is a refrigerator in the camp, from which someone successfully stole our food 👍🏻
The washing machine is standing. White clothes were washed once, and some stains appeared on them.
The owners of the camp are also "good". They sprayed the trees on the territory of the monastery with some kind of chymose at the moment when a man was sitting under the tree. Although they themselves were wearing a respirator.
The beach is not clean. There is enough garbage
In general, I did not like it there, I would not recommend a holiday camp
the camping is cool, we were there from August 3-6, we really liked everything, 2 showers, 4 toilets, there are water taps around the perimeter of the campsite, a lot of trees, which makes a lot of shade, the sea is just a stone's throw
away, it takes 5-7 minutes to walk to the store, there are cafes
the price is 300 per person and 100 rubles per car
Thank you, brothers, for your hospitality. ACE is fine. The weather has changed. The owner and his brothers, the workers are wonderful people!!! They gave the tent to use for free. Normal car camping. Water, awning, electricity - take as much as you can. Special thanks to the guard Dima!!! Wonderful vegetables and fruits. Chacha IS A BOMB!!! I really liked it.
There were a lot of people in the car camping this year. Every piece of land is occupied. Therefore, there is a queue for the toilet in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening for the shower. Of course, the toilet is "smelly" because of so many people, the main thing is to close the doors after yourself)). And those people who got stopovers near the toilet were unlucky, and this is because of the huge number of people. And so the most important thing is that there is drinking water, the light in the campsite is on at night and there is an outlet near each tent where you can connect an extension cord and charge the necessary things, the sea is nearby and there are plenty of places for swimming, tents stand in the shade of poplar trees. I also want to write about humidity- you wake up in the morning, and all the bedding is damp and you have to hang the laundry every day to dry (at first I couldn't understand why blankets and pillows dry on the fence around the territory every day). Washing clothes from the owner is 150 rubles with his own powder, and if their powder is 200 rubles. There is a stall on the territory where fruits, vegetables and alcoholic beverages are sold. And there is a cafe, yes they cook delicious, but the prices are high. At lunch, when the heat is on, you leave your things and calmly leave for a ride around the neighborhood or on an excursion, everything will be fine with your things.
The impression is twofold. The sea: the beach seems to be its own, not too clean, but quite decent. Pebbles, large.
An area with several cypresses. There's not enough shade.
The sea is not too clean, after the wind the garbage is washed ashore.
There is a shower that is heated by the window. But the tank is small, whoever is first is well done.
The host is excellent, polite and active.
220 is, there are barbecues. The territory is being cleaned.
The toilet is not for children, it is dirty and smelly. As in most places in Abkhazia.
In general, the norms.
There is electricity (sockets, lamps that illuminate the territory at night), a toilet, 2 showers (warm, cold), wi-fi.The territory is fenced. The sea is nearby, there are also 2 cafes and 2 shops nearby. There is a refrigerator and a washing machine, but for a fee. Trees are growing, the tent can be set up so that it is always in the shade.The beach is pebbles/sand.
Wonderful camping. Very hospitable and polite hosts. The campsite has everything you need, wi-fi, light, an outlet at almost every step, several showers with warm water, a well-guarded territory, proximity to the sea (private beach). Near the New Athos, the proximity of a cafe, dining room, shop. Convenient location, close to the highway, but you won't see it from the road.
A simple bomb, a great place, the beach is 30 meters away, trees save you from the hot heat, good-natured hosts, I advise everyone))))we will come again next year for sure))))))
We had a rest in August, the camping is excellent, there is shade among the trees, respectively. The store is a 3-minute walk along the road, there is also a good canteen with very pleasant prices. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable. There is a shower and a toilet, to the latter there is a question in the form of severe pollution. But in general, everything is great! We will be happy to come again!
We spent 1 night at the campsite in June 22.
If you eat with a tent, then the place costs 250 rubles / day from 1 person + 100 rubles / day from the car.
For this money you get:
1. A small fenced area with shady trees between the sea and the railway tracks
2. Outdoor toilet (a la a hole in the floor, but with a flush)
3. Tap water, good drinking water
4. Shower, also outside, with water from an iron barrel, which is heated in the sun
5. Sockets on trees with electricity in the evenings
Everything is made "from what was", like most of everything you will see in Abkhazia.
We couldn't find this place on the Internet or phone numbers or on social networks, so let's go for luck, there was a place for us)
Frogs croak and dogs howl at night.
