We were traveling from Kazakhstan. Everything goes quickly, the cars are in a separate queue. Passengers get out of the car and go through passport control on foot, enter the zone, get in line, at this time your car is being inspected, if the car has passed, they call your number on the ticket and you go to the car immediately after passing. The whole procedure took us 20 minutes. But a separate song is the road to the APP about 70 km , complete off-road, speed no more than 30-40 km per hour. Be patient, we drove for 3 hours this distance, took care of the car, people with extra spare parts overcome the road in 1.5 hours.

The guys at the checkpoint are friendly - everything was fast and clear, maybe we were lucky. Now, as for the roads - 46.684772, 49.448150 - starting from here and towards Atyrau, there is no road, not at all. Trucks travel 10-15 km /h all in dust; if the road was just on the field, it would be more preferable, since those insignificant pieces of asphalt that remain, and wells, sometimes more than 20 cm deep, cause irreparable damage to your car and nervous system. Perhaps this is the secret of why there are so few people at the border;)

The Kurmangazy border crossing is much better equipped and spacious than on the Russian side. The border guards are always polite and do their job quickly. There have never been any problems with the transition!

In a word , a pandemic and the border is closed . It 's a pity to drive 1800 km and then come back . Kazakhs have a conscience. It is not a small road to transit through your state. There is nothing for us to do in Kazakhstan, just drive through your territory and solve the problem. The vaccine is available, PCR is done, what else do you need.
