We got there completely by accident. We walked through the center of Istanbul, saw a church on the map. In the summer, it was in a completely different place on the map. After an unsuccessful search, we decided to go further along the route when we saw the gate ajar. We are curious people, we looked in. The caretaker of the church let us in, explained that only Orthodox people were allowed there, and not everyone was free to enter. He told me about the services that are being held and the condition of the temple. We were pleasantly surprised.
It is a very authentic temple, both externally and internally. There is a schedule, it is better to arrive at the time, then the shopping center is usually closed. If you are walking in that area and the passage and doors are open, be sure to visit.

Unfortunately, it was closed for 4 days. It only opens on holidays, apparently, so we didn't get in. It looks quite well maintained from the outside
