I usually judge a restaurant by its borscht; if it’s good, then the other dishes won’t disappoint. At Babushka, they serve excellent, rich borscht with the most delicious bread. I also praise the other dishes and the children’s menu. But the price is a bit steep.

The place is very nice and clean. You can enter from the beach through the doors inside the pavilion and to the right. Russian-speaking hostess. Russian Russian cuisine menu in Russian. We missed the Russian food after the hotel. We took borscht, cheesecakes, tea with sea buckthorn, dumplings, pancakes. Borscht is served with bread and very fatty, delicious sour cream. Everything is delicious, except pancakes (stale breadcrumbs). The 8 lira pies are very small, just micro - we could make more of them, there are no such small ones in Russian cuisine. Russian russians don't speak Russian, but they understand the names of Russian dishes. I didn't take off the star for the pancakes, because everything else was delicious and the service was good. 2 adults and 2 children got 380 dirhams. Everyone liked it.

I personally had breakfast and dinner here, and I was always satisfied with the service and food of this institution)

We didn't notice it, as usual, we paid and left. The manager caught up with us and starts talking as if we were skaters who ate more than they could afford. To the question "why is this happening and why didn't they check in advance?", the manager is rude to me: "How do I know?". But actually, who should know?? The fallout remained because we did not receive any apologies.

Cherry pies are a heartbreak of a Russian grandmother. 😂
Well, in the borscht there was a piece of meat and an original slicing of potatoes.
They also brought some water with vanilla to the pancakes, but it goes everywhere in the world instead of condensed milk.
Otherwise, we are just glad that there is Russian cuisine across the street from the hotel.

The service is conducted by attentive staff, and several clarification questions arose during the first visit. Everything was decided super quickly, the manager came up, the staff REALLY TRIES, THEY GIVE THEIR BEST. You can't play it.. The names on the menu of dishes are funny.. From memory, it's like "Petersburg tongue with shrimp sauce" but everything is delicious!!

The first thing that raised questions was a completely empty hall, there were no people, all the waiters were free, despite the fact that it was dinner time and Ramadan. There were plenty of staff, most of them were Russians. Everyone saw that we were Russian speakers, but they still sent a foreign speaker. He took the order incorrectly, although we speak English clearly and brought the wrong thing at all. We ordered several dishes, and of all of them, only olivier can be attributed to the "well, it's still nothing like that" category. The chefs in the kitchen do not know Russian cuisine for sure and some spicy or bitter spices were added to the dishes, which completely spoiled the taste and the dishes became disgusting. I do not recommend this place to visit.
