I visited the museum during a cruise in the Persian Gulf. The museum's exhibits fully reflect the history of the country's life over the past 150 years. The exhibits are dedicated to the history of everyday life, wedding ceremony, education, pearl fishing, etc. All the exhibits have inscriptions in English. In the hall dedicated to pearl fishing, samples of caught pearls are presented. They were given names, and then the hunters named their daughters the same way.

A great new museum. A delightful hall of antiquities, the results of excavations at the Bayhrrein fortress and ancient burials of the second millennium BC are on display. It's not worth spending time on the rest of the halls for my taste, the level of the local history museum. Take a walk, it's beautiful around

Tested and recommended. Opened in December 1988, it is the oldest museum in the whole country and in the Persian Gulf. It presents the historical, cultural and natural heritage of the people of Bahrain, introduces folk traditions. It houses the richest exhibition of ancient archaeological artifacts in the whole country. The most valuable exhibit of the museum is a collection of old manuscripts of the Koran. Three halls dedicated to the archaeology and ancient civilization of Dilmun, the culture and lifestyle of the pre-industrial era of Bahrain, natural history, and samples of flora and fauna from all over the country are available for visiting.
