We traveled from this station by the Baku-Ganja route, a high-speed train. We almost didn't go to the station itself, we bought tickets online, but it seemed to be clean on the platform.
The station, like everything in Baku, is licked to perfection, everything is clean, there are policemen around. There is no luggage storage, the police will attach your luggage at the nearest cafe for an additional fee, money changers around the corner, a bank on the second floor, train tickets to any point, including from Tbilisi at the Russian Railways ticket office.
I haven't been to Baku yet, but I want to come home in December.
In Baku.
But from the rumors and the story and from the photos, I know that the station has become very clean like a clean sheet of bubaga.
And it looks very modern.
A beautiful train station. The only thing is that the train announcements are all in the local language. Only the Baku-Moscow train is duplicated in Russian.
