Why and for what to come here?
There are no machanka and flasks, bacon and pancakes, wizards and other things from the category "homemade like grandma's" — this is a really fine cuisine restaurant offering author's dishes of immaculately high quality cooking.
The interior corresponding to the name, dim lighting, soft background music, tables placed at a distance — all this, together with the menu, defines the restaurant as an ideal place for a quiet evening with your loved ones. The fact that we had an offer made at the next table (she agreed!) — the best proof of that.
I thank the owners and staff of the restaurant for their efforts, which ensured my delightfully wonderful evening in Grodno.

Walking around the city, we accidentally discovered this restaurant on the last day before leaving and were pleasantly surprised by Yu. Everything is very tasty and inexpensive compared to the main establishments of Grodno. Interiors for 5+. Very friendly service. A large hall. Nice music. A good menu, including purely French dishes. It's a pity that we didn't stumble upon him right away. 10 points out of 10. I highly recommend it!

I liked the restaurant. We were sitting at a table overlooking the Neman River. Quiet, non-annoying quiet music. Thanks to the chef for the kitchen. I'll give a minus to the bartender for a warm beer, I had to buy another one that was cooled separately in ice. I recommend that the waiters periodically, even after serving all the dishes, look at the guests in the hall and ask for their wishes. The used glasses on the table with napkins stood for the rest of the evening.

We came to Grodno from Nizhny Novgorod. We went to the restaurant because it was on the way. Not according to the recommendations. We were completely delighted! Very tasty, reasonable prices, wonderful service. Nice and clean. The cuisine is not national, as in many establishments in Belarus, the choice is large. Fish and chips (from sweet potatoes) and coffee mulled wine I recommend))

This is the place for which we are ready to return to Grodno!
It was 19.08, they celebrated my birthday.
The restaurant is located near the Old Castle and the fire tower, a little off the beaten path. And he's beautiful! Very spacious, bright, cozy. A chic interior with Bakst paintings and thematic photographs, you can endlessly look at the details. The photo zone by the fireplace captivated us. There is a large terrace overlooking the Neman River.
Our waitress, Victoria, was very attentive to us. She helped with the selection of dishes and drinks, answered our questions about the dishes and the artist benevolently and with a smile.
The menu is excellent, non-standard, I would say exquisite. And everything is very tasty. They brought me a cake as a gift.
Thank you for the wonderful impressions, if we are still in Grodno, we will definitely come back and advise everyone!

Poor service! Great prices!
We were passing through and went to eat 30 minutes before the end of the lunch menu. They gave us the menu, but when ordering it turned out that there was practically nothing from the menu anymore. Even a cucumber and tomato salad! At 16 o'clock they have no vegetables in the restaurant! Or did you just not want to discuss it? Although there are plenty of bored staff in the restaurant. The room is dark, the interior is not impressed. We left hungry. I have a bad impression of the restaurant and Grodno in general. We traveled all over Belarus from Polotsk to Brest, had a delicious and inexpensive lunch everywhere. Only in Grodno such prices!

We decided to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our life together with my wife. We were looking for a restaurant where you can sit in a cozy atmosphere. Friends advised Bakst and we decided to trust their advice. And I will say that we did not lose. Great view from the panoramic windows, soft, quiet music that does not interfere with a casual conversation, wonderful, polite and helpful staff .... and of course the kitchen. The portions are large, served beautifully, really tasty: I checked out the steak, and my wife was delighted with the duck in plum sauce, well, we especially had dessert, namely strudel with ice cream in cherry sauce - just an explosion of emotions, positive of course. The only thing was, it was a little hot for me personally, an air conditioner would not hurt..... but this is a completely inconsequential remark that did not spoil the evening in any way.
So if someone is thinking and deciding where to spend a romantic evening, I boldly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant upset :(
The holiday was celebrated in May 2024. The food (and this is what is always the main thing in the restaurant) was STALE: yesterday's snacks with a dried loaf and damp profiteroles, yesterday's heated meat, sliced dried and dried. This is unacceptable for a restaurant! If you cook the day before, then this is no longer a restaurant at all. In the restaurant, only the blanks are prepared the day before, but the dishes are not collected in any way.
The seafood was cooked tasteless (rolled in some unpleasant starch). The fish was over-dried. Vegetables on skewers — some were normal, and some were almost raw, the zucchini were white and crunchy… Instead of pieces of pork, they brought some kind of greasy fat (there was almost no meat in these pieces). The sauces tasted like they were poured from Hines store packs. We were not warned that some of the sauces were spicy. The portion size did not match the declared ones. The fruit PLATEAU was a tiny plate. The cheese plate was in fact a cheese saucer, 5 small cubes of each type of cheese... At the same time, there were completely different fruits and plates of food on each table (except for portions), and the fruits were also cut in advance — dried at the cut site. The lettuce leaves in caesar were palm-sized, how should they be eaten in evening dresses? Table knives are blunt. The dishes were placed unevenly on the tables, the guests had to get up and go to the other side of the table to try something else.
We didn't even want to take the leftovers with us, we were afraid of poisoning ourselves.
In general, the organization is a complete mess (previously, somewhere in 2022, this was not the case). In the morning before the event, I had to ask to wash the windows (they were stained and stained). The tablecloths are not ironed (they were ironed, but they remained crumpled). The waiters worked poorly: they had to be asked to remove dirty plates and top up drinks in carafes, the plates were removed on time only at the presidium. I am silent about the fact that in 2022, at a similar event, the waiters themselves poured drinks into the glasses of the guests, this year apparently this function was abolished. One waiter was WITHOUT an apron, wearing A sports T-SHIRT! By the agreed time, the food was not served, the waiters constantly asked whether it was necessary to carry it or not. Tea was not served on some tables when the cake was served, to the reasonable question of the guests when it would be, the waiter replied: "Did you order it?" Despite the fact that it was discussed in advance that tea is served with the cake and topped up without asking if it ends! The cake was cut as if a person was doing it for the first time in his life: someone got thick pieces, and someone got a finger thick. During the preparation of the event, we were persuaded to order a meat plateau for the presidium, they say, it is necessary. As a result, when we asked where it was, they said that we had not ordered... we saw the administrator for only 10 minutes the whole evening, starting at 4 p.m. and ending at 1 a.m. — she just went about her business. When we went outside, we saw all the staff lazily sitting in the sun and looking at the guests, as if it was their vacation, and not ours.
The promised mixer was not provided.
For several months, three people took out our brains due to the fact that our presenter was not from the state register. When they already decided to cancel the reservation, since there was no other way, they immediately found an opportunity - it turns out that it is possible to conclude an agreement with the presenter and with the DJ (we actually did not mind). They sent us a sample of the contract with a terrible dark photo so that we could manually reprint the text of the contract! We've been reprinting it for 2 hours... and what's the result? The contract was never taken from us, the restaurant did not need it!
There are 2 administrators in the restaurant, and they do not synchronize with each other: we discussed some issue with one admin, then we understand from another admin's question that the other is not aware at all. In addition, the administrator incorrectly transmitted information to the director. Then the director calls us, and, for example, persuades us to agree to the contract — and we did not object to this at all, and the administrator transmitted our disagreement from somewhere in the air. I had to run after the admins, pull out the details of cooperation with ticks, no one ever called on any question.
When we wanted to extend the contract (this was also discussed in advance and we said that we would extend it), we were told that the cost of the second hour of the extension would not be 200 rubles, as under the contract, but 250 and only in cash. I had to refuse the extension.
And all this against the background of the fact that all the staff is trying to speak in an "elegant pretentious" way, as if robots communicate with memorized service phrases. And we would like the guys to know what real service and quality are, and what the concept of the restaurant implies.
Those who plan to celebrate the event in Bakst — think a hundred times. All you will get is a really decent level of lemonades, coffee and a view from the windows (if the windows are clean). We are very upset and at the moment we are determined never to come here again and dissuade everyone. If the owners of the establishment want to settle the issue somehow, you can call +375-25-721-90-79.

The prices are affordable for this level of service and the quality of the dishes. Live music in the evening. Everything is dedicated in the neighborhood in the evening, it's nice to walk after dinner. I didn't take a photo of the restaurant itself, but you can find it by these landmarks.

The staff of this institution can help with solving all the issues that arise: determine the choice of dishes, effectively set the table, serve the food in a timely manner, unobtrusively, imperceptibly and at the same time promptly serve the guests. In addition, the helpful staff helped with such a delicate problem as a beautiful tie!

Two Tartars were killed. Beef tartare is cut very coarsely, tasteless, mustard clogs everything out of taste. Tuna tartare in general, for the first time we encountered that the fish that went into it was slightly salted, and not fresh. The pork is very tough, the knife barely coped. The furniture is dirty, and there are big black spots on the white chairs. The serving of the dishes was also surprised, hot dishes were brought first, and after 15 minutes they only brought snacks. The staff is not interested in communicating with customers. We were very disappointed in this institution after so many good reviews.

Two stars were removed for the tuna loin, although there are no 5-Star questions about the tuna itself, but here is a pillow of vegetables .....well, an indescribable disappointment....moreover, both I and the guests at the next table.. a big request to the chef is to finish this dish, otherwise there is not much to eat in the post.

Great place, clean, cozy. Delicious food, a menu for every taste and purse, of the meat dishes, I can separately mention the oven meat-very tasty, sorted into fibers, soft, juicy. The staff is friendly. The barista is excellent, the waiters are very polite, efficient, always keep an eye on the table, change clean plates on time, add napkins.
