Our experience staying at the Baku Marriott Hotel Boulevard exceeded all expectations, primarily due to the outstanding staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.
From the moment we arrived, we were treated with exceptional hospitality. Mr. Said at the front desk recognized our circumstances and graciously offered an early check-in options along with spending time on breakfast. His thoughtfulness didn't end there—upon learning about the length of our stay, he took the time to suggest numerous activities and attractions tailored to our interests, which significantly enhanced our Baku experience.
The personal touches continued with Ms. Nargis from guest relations, who welcomed us with special room amenities that made us feel instantly at home and she added local taste to our arrival to Baku. Her extensive knowledge of local cafes was invaluable to us as avid explorers of local cuisine. Her recommendations led us to some hidden gems we would have otherwise missed. Ms. Nargis was also personally very attentive with recommendations and extra care when one of us was sick. It was really a great example of personal involvement and service.
We also received great help from Ms. Nigar as well from guest relations, who assisted us with restaurant reservations and always acknowledged us whenever we encountered her.
Our initial introduction to the room was expertly handled by Mr. David, our bellboy. His detailed explanation of all room facilities and amenities was helpful, as was his remarkable knowledge of many languages. What stood out most was his friendly, approachable demeanor that immediately put us at ease and made us feel welcome. Mr. David always addressed us by our names and greeted us with a warm smile and genuine care each time we encountered him. We are extremely grateful for his attentiveness.
The dining experience at the White City Restaurant deserves special mention. Mr. Rashad, the restaurant manager, exemplifies what leadership should be. We were continually impressed by how hands-on he was with his team, creating an atmosphere where every staff member reflected his dedication to guest satisfaction. His personal attention made breakfast not just a meal but a highlight of our day. We found ourselves returning daily, drawn as much by the exceptional service as by the outstanding food—the Azerbaijani breakfast is particularly worth trying! Mr. Rashad’s excellent attitude to guests were perfectly shared to his team. Mr. Jafar and Mr. Arif also deserves recognition for their meticulous attention to detail and impeccable service.
Even when we encountered an issue with our spa booking, the staff’s commitment to guest satisfaction shone through. Mr. Emral, Mr. Rufat, and Mr. Gasham intervened promptly, transforming what could have been a disappointing experience into a testament to the staff’s dedication to guest care. I'd like to especially note that Mr. Gasham continued to monitor our stay and consistently checked if everything was satisfactory or if we needed any additional assistance.
Room Service Supervisor Mr. Emin and waiter Mr. Nasiibli were exceptionally helpful in accommodating our special orders that weren't on the menu. They went above and beyond to ensure our requests were delivered exactly as specified and in the shortest possible time.
Black City Restaurant was nice as well with good serving and Bar Manager recommendations. Just would not repeat visit because of heavy smoking smell for me.
Pool and Gym was nicely equipped, M Lounge area is absent of smoke smell and with nice view.
One issue worth noting was the persistent smell of cigarette smoke in the hallways and specifically in our bathroom, despite being on a designated non-smoking floor with non-smoking rooms. This detracted somewhat from our overall comfort and was inconsistent with the hotel’s non-smoking policy.
During our 9-night stay, we also observed inconsistency in several service areas:
• Housekeeping quality and attention to detail varied noticeably from day to day
• In-room dining service was unpredictable – some orders arrived promptly and perfectly executed, while others took over 45 minutes and were missing requested items
• “At Your Service” phone calls were handled differently each time, possibly due to language barriers between staff and guests
Despite these inconsistencies, the outstanding staff members mentioned and their dedication to guest satisfaction made our stay in Baku largely enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to travelers visiting the beautiful city of Baku, with just these caveats about potential smoke odor and service consistency issues.
Good hotel, if you have business in the White City. Rooms are good, food selection is great! But, it is a layover place for tour groups from India which can cause a pandemonium at breakfast and checkout, check-in is very slow, and then they “forget” to credit bonus points for nights, and when one arrives at 6 am with a booking from a prior night, they apply a cancellation fee which is higher than the rate booked. Never seen tactics like this in any other major chain hotel.
This hotel is amazing and near the sea with a beautiful view. I stayed a week in a nice , cozy room. The staff is so polite and professional 🙂 I recommend staying at this hotel.
Nice, cozy hotel, with Windows in the rooms, excellent restaurants, excellent staff. Beautiful promenade on the Caspian Sea embankment. Price-quality ratio 👍. One of the disadvantages from the city was the view from the window to the wasteland, we are waiting for the territory to be improved.
A good hotel, located right on the waterfront, you need to take a taxi to the center, the rooms are clean, it's better to take Sea view. The breakfasts are very good and varied. Coffee comes from a thermos by default, but if you ask the waiter, it will come from the coffee machine.
A large, beautiful hotel on the waterfront, comfortable, very pleasant service, friendly staff, many Russian speakers, decent SPA, excellent swimming pool. The beauty salon has professional staff. Separately, I want to mention the stylist girl (unfortunately I did not remember her name), she made me the perfect styling for a photo shoot for long blonde hair in 20 minutes, and usually I am "tormented" for at least 1 hour-1.5 and not always with a good result ...)) Well done!!! Of the cons, the rooms are not very freshly renovated and the lighting is SOOO weak everywhere, it is possible that this is the way it is accepted. For me, the low lighting in the room was a problem, because it's not possible to do makeup ... The girls will understand me. The rooms themselves are not big.
A nice hotel with a small private park and a cool pool.
For breakfast: classic European breakfast. One of the pleasant features is fresh delicious pastries. Of the nuances: there is no coffee machine, you need to ask the waiters. Regular juices from a pack. There is always a small queue for scrambled eggs after 9. In general, breakfast is 4+.
Location: located in the White City- a new area, on the site of the former industrial zone. Now there is nothing to remind you of the past - everything has been rebuilt. There are empty sites around the hotel for future construction - it will be difficult to walk to the city. But for some it will be a plus - there is no fuss around and in summer there will be a pleasant breeze from the sea. Download the local Yandex taxi and go ahead)) . It is impossible to go down to the sea, and it is not necessary - it is polluted with petroleum products.
These are the main nuances of the hotel. In general, I will give the hotel 5- , we liked it.
Great hotel. Everything is super: the service, the rooms, and the breakfasts. A good fitness room and a swimming pool. It is located near the coast of the Caspian Sea.
The only, but very unpleasant incident, because of which I lowered the rating, is that part of our group was not checked into the hotel for a long time. There were no rooms available, although the rooms were booked and paid for long before arrival. At the same time, the staff at the reception did nothing to solve this problem. They were settled only after coming to their leadership and the threat of legal proceedings. But several comrades, after a tedious trip, also waited half the night for check-in.
The hotel is simply top, there is an exit to the embankment, you can take a good walk and breathe the sea air... Very good breakfasts, only plain orange juice is served, you can immediately see that the substitute
I only came for 3-4 days. On the 1st day, I visited 3 rooms, which is why I spent the whole day moving from one room to another, the last time they put me in a room where the lights were constantly turned off, considering that there were scary paintings hanging there, I was scared.
There were holes in the dressing gowns, and the second time they put me in an unmade room (there was hair everywhere).
The next day, they promised me a room with a beautiful view, as an apology, and even showed it, after which they promised to call me back in about an hour.
Accordingly, they did not call me, and when I went down to the reception in the evening, they told me that for "technical" reasons they could not put me in that room. And they moved to another room.
Considering that I only came for a couple of days and spent the first two days asking questions about the rooms, I was upset.
In addition to all this, I would like to note that when I was in the room, I had a constant headache, since the rooms are not ventilated.
But there are also advantages.:
Beautiful hotel and courteous staff. But the rooms need to be repaired, all the furniture is ruined.
The hotel exceeded my expectations! The service is top-notch, the staff is friendly and attentive. The room was clean and cozy, and the view from the window was amazing. The breakfast was varied and delicious. But it is true that there are a lot of Pakistanis and other peoples of Indian origin. But I still recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to relax comfortably and enjoy excellent service.
I really liked the hotel , we lived on the 10th floor with a wonderful view of the sea and the city 🔥 the atmosphere , breakfasts , and the 5th floor with a lounge food court and a bar are just perfect 👌
The rooms were very well cleaned , the others were complimented in the form of a cake 👍🏻 the spa and pool are excellent
Service 💯 service 💯 the breakfasts are very tasty and for every taste! The spa and pool are great! The rooms are clean and very cozy. The White City restaurant has excellent cuisine. The staff is very polite and friendly 😍
The hotel has its own 5 stars. The rooms are beautiful, clean. But unfortunately the sea is normally visible only from the suites. Everything is new, modern. The pool is decent. But there is only one sauna in the men's part and one in the women's. Also a hamam. The breakfasts are gorgeous - you don't even have time to try everything at once. But the problem is with coffee. Normal only for money. The biggest disadvantage of course is the location. The outskirts are an understatement. Construction site and embankment. There is nothing else nearby. In general, a cool hotel with a few "buts". If from the point of view of sightseeing Baku, but I do not recommend it. If on a business trip, then a good choice.
The best hotel for Baku! My favorite)))
The breakfasts on the veranda, the pool overlooking the sea, are great and the staff is very attentive.
It has been at a high level for a long time. Thanks
A wonderful hotel.I liked absolutely everything-the room, the restaurants, the spa....The only thing that upset me a little was the saunas separately for men and women. But this is just a small thing that did not affect the overall impression. If I go back to Baku, I will definitely stay at this hotel.
If you give yourself 5 stars, then match them. There is hair everywhere in the room (!!!!!), mismatched cups and glasses (dirty upon check-in). The reception is extremely slow to respond to requests. For example: when we checked in, we had disposable slippers, the next day they were cleaned, they were thrown away, but new ones were not put in. We asked for slippers, they told us that we could go to the room, they would bring them to us. We waited an hour!!! They called, and they told us to take another 15 minutes. In the end, we went on our own again.
Cons: far from the center, tired rooms, windows don't open, towels are yellow
A good hotel, but very large and therefore oversaturated with guests. The service and breakfasts are excellent. The sea view and Primorsky Boulevard are excellent. A big disadvantage is the serious walking distance from the historical center.
It's a nice hotel, but it's already old. But faith used to be good) now everything is worn and the view is not very good on the 3rd floor..
and so, in principle, Marriott is a good level. The breakfasts are excellent 👌
I was staying at this hotel as part of a delegation. Everything is at a high level! I really liked the breakfasts and the attentiveness of the waiters and administrators. I really liked the waiter Subhan. With him, we felt like real long-awaited guests! For 3 days, he remembered what kind of coffee we like and always found us at the tables to bring it! We really liked this attitude💛
Good afternoon! In general, I can't say anything bad about the hotel, but there were a large group of 58 people, with a quick check-in problem, although I sent all the passports in advance. At the reception, they do not try to delve into the situation, they can be answered with scripts, the rumservice is long, it's easier to go to them myself, well, because it's a big maze, navigation by numbers is of course there, but it seems to me that you need to draw the path to the room on the card case :)) But the impressions of Baku are amazing, I recommend it to everyone)
Not a bad place, good service. But! When booking, we thought that there would be a beach - it is, in the form of an embankment))) very far on foot from the center, everything was blocked during the passage of Formula 1, but we walked a lot along the strange, clean and huge embankment)
Nice hotel. It is located next to the embankment, but construction works are going on all around, which spoils the view and is sometimes noisy.
The hotel has a gym and a decent level swimming pool. The breakfasts are varied.
When I went to another delicious breakfast at this hotel, I noticed the shelves with books that guests leave in all languages of the world, and took one to read, planning to spend my leisure time in their huge luxurious but quiet spa. I didn't know then that it was with this book and with Marriott that a new stage in my life would begin, and this fabulous hotel would forever remain in my heart....
A chic new hotel, a beautiful view of the embankment and the sea, but the staff is not very trained, I did not wait for coffee from the waiters at breakfast, I had to ask the manager. The location is slightly away from the shopping center and the central part of the city
Great hotel, super view of the water and the flame towers, the city looks beautiful in the evening. A very good plus of the hotel is the ATM downstairs, where you can change the cash currency.
Because we checked in a day earlier, we booked standard rooms for a day (ours were occupied). The rooms are in need of renovation, the view from the window would be amazing if the windows were washed. The breakfasts are ordinary. There were a lot of people from India, Pakistan and other countries in the hotel, so breakfast was held in some kind of chaos.
The next day we moved into our rooms with a terrace and access to the lounge. This is heaven and earth. The rooms are spacious, with terraces, you can sunbathe on the sun beds. And most importantly, we had breakfast separately in the lounge, where people were also from higher room categories. They had access to the lounge all day, and you can also have a snack there in the evening - everything was included in the room rate. I liked the pool and saunas, but there are few sun beds near the pool. The control system in the hotel was annoying: when entering the hotel, they search, even if they left for a couple of minutes. I didn't really like the food in the restaurant
A cozy hotel. It is somewhat remote from the city center, but this can be considered as a plus - silence. Near the embankment, along which with beautiful views in 30 minutes you can walk to the center. Rooms with sea views outperform rooms with city views. Nice spa area, swimming pool. Excellent breakfasts. The room itself is somewhat shabby. But not critical. In general, a pleasant feeling from the stay. And the staff is very friendly.
A luxury hotel. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and bright. There are rooms for people with disabilities. A varied breakfast. Everything is delicious
Excellent hotel, located at some distance from the old town. The service is at a high level. There is a place for hiking. Excellent breakfasts, courteous staff.
A nice hotel with its own flavor. The staff is polite and helpful. Give the technical team a little extra push and everything will be fine. Check your phones before checking in, clean the head shower, it's not fashionable to wash under it.
Terrible hotel. I booked through Yandex, but the hotel charged another price because they don't work well with Yandex. Well, the money was on a foreign card, so they wouldn't have settled.
Dirty windows and a dustpan bathroom. Taxis at the hotel are bred for the money of visitors.
The hotel restaurant is also so-so, I was looking for a waiter for 10 minutes, the hedgehog is terrible.
The hotel is located on the waterfront but it is far from the center and inconvenient.
Great hotel! Clear! The staff was polite and the check-in was as quick as possible. The sea view is magnificent. I used the services of a beauty salon. Everything is fine!
I liked everything. Breakfast fire. The service is very good. The room has everything except a toothbrush. An iron and ironing board is a big plus when you're with suitcases.
I took off the star for the fact that there has been no repair for a long time and some details of the room are already clearly patched.
Great hotel, friendly staff. A good SPA, although saunas are separately male, separately female. Large swimming pool. The rooms are cleaned daily, located in the "white city" on the embankment. Recommend.
The best hotel in Baku! American style. Fashionable, modern, by no means tired eomer6. And the shutters are wonderful! Impressive is always a mountain of baking😍😍😍this is my weakness! And the cheese platter for breakfast is great!
