The central train station is co-located with the bus station. It has ample stores to shop from for last minute gifts. There are also different restaurants to choose from. The Aynali Doner restaurant serves delicious food at an affordable price. Overall, the train station is nice and clean with plenty of seats/bench to relax. The workers at the train station are very professional and knowledgeable.

Neat, clean, and odorless.
The location is excellent: near the 28 May metro station, bus station, and the boarding point for the Express Bus to the Airport (it takes 40 minutes, costs 2.5 Manats, Wi-Fi is free, runs every 30 minutes AROUND the CLOCK!!)

We passed by and looked into the train station. The number is comfortable enough. The facility is well guarded, there are a lot of police, it pleases. There are cafes. There is a metro station nearby.

Baku Railway Station is one of the most beautiful and modern buildings I have visited. The interior is decorated in bright colors, large windows make the room bright and cozy.
Ticket terminals are intuitive and easy to use.
The new double-decker trains are stylish, comfortable and equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant journey. The care for passengers is felt in every detail, which makes the station an ideal place to start a trip to Baku! :)

We bought tickets and traveled to Ganja by high-speed train. The cashiers speak Russian. Everything is clean and tidy. One of the disadvantages is that you need to come a little in advance, since tickets and luggage are checked for a long time at the entrance to the platform.

Be careful! Apparently, for security reasons, there are no luggage storage facilities in Baku. There are cameras at the station, but they don't work. We really needed them, so check in advance.
