A beautiful, cozy place. The area is all strewn with restaurants and seafood stalls in the center. There is almost everything that is supposed to be seafood.
When choosing, BE sure to count in pieces per person, not in kg.)). Most prices are per kg., but nothing prevents you from taking 30 mussels (for example) and 10 king prawns for two. We can bargain a little) they often start first themselves.
Sellers like to talk and you ask them for what and how much). English will help a lot)
There are many tables around, but all with different tablecloths and different colors. These are all different restaurants. And the prices in them are different.
Ask how much it will cost to cook what you bought (this is separate additional money).
For example, we had seafood for 460 liras and in the restaurant a check for 360 liras (for cooking and service) for a total of 920 liras (almost 2,900 rubles) for lunch for two / three) + alcohol separately.
It's worth a visit. Authentic, beautiful, and memorable.
4 stars due to the obsession of the sellers. I don't really like it, but that's the very atmosphere of the market.
The fish market in Fethiye is located in the Old Town. It is quite easy to find it, my wife and I walked from Chalysh and at the same time took a walk in a beautiful park built right on the shore. The market is very clean, you can find any seafood. Since my wife and I lived in an apartment and had the opportunity to cook ourselves, we bought dorado, shrimp and squid. We had everything cleaned up right away. Well, yes, it's expensive, of course, the prices bite. But, on the other hand, you can't eat such fresh and delicious seafood in Moscow. Therefore, we did not regret spending at all. There is also a fish restaurant on the market for those who wish.
Fresh fish and seafood, a pleasant atmosphere in the evening, it took us a while to figure out how much the service in the restaurant where the fish was cooked for us, but the prices are affordable, they don't know how to cook octopus, it's expensive, but not tasty, crabs are also not worth the money. Squid, shrimp and fish, that's what you won't lose, and there is fish stewed in a pan with sauce, the cooking method is not only to cook and fry, we recommend you to visit
An inconspicuous micromarket in Fethiye with a circular arrangement of counters in the center of a small area, there are 5 or 6 sellers in total.
Fresh fish and shrimp. We cleaned everything from scales and armor, it's convenient.
We were in the morning, judging by the availability of cafes right there on the market square, by the evening all the products can be cooked.
I recommend it to all seafood lovers!!! The system is as follows: you buy fresh seafood and they are transferred to the selected restaurant. They offer cooking options and additional dishes to serve. (The price of fish and cooking are paid separately)
We visited this place for dinner and came just for fish for self-cooking.
The best place in all of Turkey. At the market, you choose fish, octopus, shrimp and any other things that live in the sea and sit in any rest around - they will be brought there and cooked.
It is very tasty, cozy and authentic.
A very tasty place is the Fish market in Fethiye. In the shopping malls themselves, you can choose fresh marine life in great abundance. the choice itself. Nearby , we can say right there in five meters there are a lot of tables , it is necessary to pay attention that there are many tables and they are decorated with different tablecloths and other identifying interior , the owners of the tables are different and everyone has their own kitchen . We were lucky and the seafood we bought was cooked just fine.
The market, where they almost grab you by the hands, looked and went to another place to eat, because many write that they cheat in cooking fish, bring ready-made other fish not the one that you bought, they also wind up additional drinks and salads in the receipt.
A great place, the freshest fish and seafood. You take it on the counter, they immediately prepare and set it for you at any free table, of which there are definitely more than a hundred around the counters
We were with friends from Germany 2 years ago, the prices were more decent then. This year we had a rest at the end of May, I decided to write right away. The first time we came, we tempered 3 kg of shrimp, cooked well, but it seemed that somehow they gave less. We decided another time to order individually, who wants how much, it turned out to be 30 pieces each, one 25 pieces.. There are 145 pieces in total. At first, the seller did not understand what we wanted at all, he only insisted on the weight. As a result of the debate, they counted, weighed, and got a little more than 3 kg. When it was cooked, they brought me a portion in a frying pan - I counted it!!!!- in general, 16 pieces. The other has 21 pieces, etc. We were not informed of a total of 27!!!!!!! pieces. (this is about 800 grams.) The mood was spoiled. We found out-we found out - they all have "no problems"). And they charged 850 lire for a salad with 2 bottles of Cola. We decided to write reviews and no longer go to brazen sellers... Or everyone will individually take a bag of shrimp personally and give it to the cook... Well, that's how it turns out. Therefore, the advice is to keep a close eye... although they were watching, there is no sense.
Well, super cool......We were sitting next to each other at the table, at least for something.
Fethiye's business card is the fish market. What kind of sea creatures are there))) Upon purchase, they will immediately cut it up and, if necessary, they will cook it immediately!
We found out about this place on YouTube and decided to visit it. The result is this: my stomach hurts and I spent the whole evening on the toilet, my wife is sick. I attached photos of the restaurant itself, I think it will be clear where. In short, I do not recommend it...
I would call this place an outdoor restaurant specializing in freshly caught fish. Although you can just buy seafood that will be cleaned, chopped, and so on.
We did not eat on the spot, bought what we needed and cooked at home. The prices here are above average, but everything is fresh if you are not deterred by the fishy smell (for an amateur, specific). If you want to eat fish cheaply on the embankment in the place where the river (canal) flows in, you can do it for a very reasonable fee, but without a choice of dishes and cooking method. A bonus there will be a sunset dinner with the opportunity to admire the turtles that swim to this place to feed on algae brought by fresh water. I highly recommend it for visiting with children.
Delicious fresh fish and seafood for every taste is here. This is both a market and a 2-in-1 restaurant. It's only a few steps from the counter to the table. We were advised to visit this market by local residents. And we were absolutely delighted! Now, as soon as we arrive in Fethiye, the first thing to do is to come here)))
So many different things! So many different goodies! We bought the freshest shrimp. They were immediately cleaned and cooked for us (I note that cooking was not very expensive). It was very tasty! Be sure to go to the market if you are in Fethiye, even if you are not going to buy anything: just look.
Fish market plus restaurant, good interaction!
I smoked a fresh product and it was cooked in front of you, a good story
Excellent seafood quality, normal cooking
Recommendation!
There are a sufficient number of restaurants and cafes on the market where, with the help of local chefs, it is possible to cook and taste the purchased seafood. Who hasn't visited the fish market yet, I recommend
Here you can buy your favorite seafood and right there in the restaurant for 80 lira, including cooking and service, everything will be presented with fervor from the heat.
There is fish, but the prices are like in Russia. The same dorado, with a bargain, is like in our stores. Delivery is around 13-00, but if you do not understand, then they will try to sell you yesterday's fish, even without a discount.
The exotic combination of southern fish shops, where you choose fish, shrimp, and they will soon be cooked for you nearby, in one of the restaurants of the courtyard, served with a good side dish, vegetables, bread.
We had a knowledgeable local guy with us. We stopped by after the hammam.
Overhead, the branches of a tree are spread out, it is late evening on September 21, the full moon is peeking through. Entourage: pieces of nets, sails, rudders, anchors, models of fish, crabs...
Local musicians and singers move from table to table. There seems to be a wedding in one part of the courtyard, and a birthday party in the other. Songs, conversations, noise, tobacco smoke (they smoke a lot, that's why I rated it lower), the smell of seafood (not for a pampered nose), and then the aroma of fish dishes. If there were torches or oil lamps instead of electric lamps, it would feel like we were transported 150 years into the past. Although the two-hour time difference was overwhelming, it was impressive. An anisette cocktail also helped. We went to the Oludeniz hotel to Russian rock, where some words should be replaced with "peaks"
A nice atmospheric place. Noise, noise, color. I recommend fish baked in salt. True, they will ask you for money for all the fun, but it's worth it. I recommend you to visit.
I am disappointed with the market, the touts are not pushing fresh goods, choose the goods yourself and do not listen to anyone, do not like it, go to another seller. There is an option of cooking on site, located away from the port
A great market. Fresh fish and seafood are inexpensive. You can buy, tell the seller to cut up the fish / seafood and they will be cooked for you in a restaurant, which is full on the market. It is recommended to visit.
The choice is not too big. The market is aimed at tourists. The price of fish is quite high. But the fish is fresh, we cooked it ourselves in the apartments.
