This bathhouse is a "historical place of generations" if it were not for this miracle of the era, our children would have no idea how everything was before.... All people are different, but there is something that unites everyone, cleanliness, culture, the past, and it does not matter what color the doors are or the wallpaper))) There is a clean room, although it pours like an "old lady"))), it breathes like in "childhood", it seems to me that even people from the past are there))) they also stand and talk over a "cup" of beer and there is such an atmosphere that you forget that from the outside 2024))). I was with the children in the suite, 4 hours were not enough for three of us, time stopped there and it was great to tell the children about their childhood memories of that wonderful past!)))

If you want to go back to the 60s, then go here. The sanitation is complete. It's just going to be demolished and rebuilt. Nobody seems to know about cleanliness here. Everything is crooked, oblique, etc. I didn't even want to leave my things in the lockers (they were probably from the opening here)

I read them all and everything is true: the situation is real in the USSR, I immediately remembered how my father and brother went to a public bath in Russia in the distant late 80s and early 90s when I was still small and for some reason everything really surfaced in my memory as if I really got into the past. And now directly about the bath: let's start with the big advantages, as always, there are two steam rooms and one sauna, the steam is wonderful, there are a lot of it and enough for everyone, it was 6.01 yes, there were a lot of people since Christmas is a big holiday and therefore everyone came 6, but even with such a number of people in both steam rooms it was possible it was good to have a steam bath without hurting each other, there was almost no one in the sauna at all. The steam room and sauna are quite comfortable both in terms of repair and in terms of the atmosphere, the steam is very very good even for such a number of people. In this bathhouse, you can meet all generations of people from children to deep pensioners, and this already says a lot. Yes, repairs in the washroom and lockers and ventilation all require unambiguous repair and replacement, and showers. This is how a public bathhouse should look so that people have something to compare it with. For the money that a ticket costs, you get a pretty good service, considering that avid steamers are here and communicate for half a day. I definitely advise you to visit and plunge into this atmosphere.

The only place in Gomel where the soul rests, I go almost every week.
Where did you see 2 Russian steam rooms, each for different steam lovers,+ sauna, all for 7.80. There were many baths in the city. The steam is the best here, but the lockers and the rest are already props, everything is secondary.
I wouldn't change anything. Still, instead of new plastic windows, I would put old wooden ones with shutters back.
And what's the bar downstairs? Yes, only for one bar 5 stars. Soviet paintings were pitifully removed.
I would write a book about this bathhouse. Fairy tale
And I put up monuments to the workers of this bathhouse during my lifetime, holy people.

To be honest, it's a horror and not a bathhouse. I often visit Brest and go to Lazne in the center for 8 rubles. there is something to compare a huge steam room with wood and perfect steam, a good hood, a powerful stream in the showers, marble benches in the washroom, new lockers without locks. And we have 3 steam rooms, but it's just a nightmare in the second department with tiles on the floor, and in the first it's not always better if the stones are warmed up and the steam burns damp, the floor is always wet, there is little space. SAVING electricity heating elements are turned on at a minimum, the hood is not included. There is no water pressure in the shower, they also block the pressure. SAVING on everything they can. The walls are covered in fungi and mold, the lockers are smelly, the wardrobe has been done for a year, the bar is creepy. After each sitting in this bathhouse, only negative impressions remain. I hope the management

If it is possible to give a name to a public bath, then it can be deservedly called a "time machine in the past," unfortunately, in the past. We wanted to build our own bathhouse, but when we got here, we realized that there is no better bathhouse. At the entrance, even the smell says that this is another era, I want to plunge into this forgotten atmosphere further. And here it is a "transition" in which they sell you a ticket to a place where you haven't been for so many years. A few steps and you're already there...And there everything is still as in childhood. And these lovely aunts-workers at the reception have not even aged. They are also attentive and polite...Only the basins have changed...Progress is evident. Everything is great here! Let's move on! The steam is wonderful! The atmosphere is bath...Everything is fine! We steamed, washed and went down to the buffet satisfied. There we were met by a youngish bartender and created for us a cozy atmosphere of the past... He has a separate respect! The assortment of the bar is much better than in other baths of the city. Checked!There is no better bathhouse for 8p! We recommend it and use it regularly ourselves!

I've been going to this bathhouse for a couple of years. First of all, because it's close, and because I walk alone, without company. The price for such an entourage is too high, but it's good that it's unlimited in time. The steam rooms are good, the steam is good. As described above, of course, I would like to see such a sought-after and atmospheric institution restored so that it would be pleasant to go there. Of course, I would like the lockers to be bigger and newer. Of course, I want there to be good ventilation, because the fact that condensate drips from the ceiling is not pleasant and not suitable. The fact that half of the valves do not work well in the showers is also, somehow, not right, at least. I would like to invite guests or friends from other cities to this place to steam, but I'm afraid that not everyone is ready for "hardcore". I hope that the city authorities will take care of such a central place, find funds and make repairs. You don't need any luxury, you just need everything to be in order, clean and dry where it should be.

I love the bathhouse in principle.
Bathhouse 1 is a time machine. When you get here, you find yourself in the atmosphere of the Soviet era: the lack of repair, as well as toilet paper in the toilet. The dead lockers in the locker room. The plaster is falling off in the washing compartment. All this, accompanied by the cheerful laughter of the bathhouse workers, takes me back to my childhood.
What is missing? Competent marketers who can turn minuses into pluses, profitably beat the design, create the atmosphere of the USSR (in a good way).
There are enough soulless washrooms in Eurostyle today. But there is no such corner-native, understandable, warm.

Honestly and frankly.The sauna makes a depressing impression.I decided what to put 3 or 4. Gloomy externally and dysfunctional inside.If there are 3 places (sauna and 2 wet steam rooms), I did not want to go to any of them for steaming.Benches instead of shelves and stones behind a dense lattice .The supply of roaring steam from the pipe and the tightness does not allow you to relax.
Fans of steaming their legs lying down, according to the classics, this is not here.
Further, the pressure in the souls is very weak when several are turned on at once.No pouring buckets, no font, etc. options for fast cooling (except for a basin with a cold.water) is not provided.I understand that I'm being picky, I might offend the guests, but this is the best public bath in Gomel and, honestly, so far the worst of the 9 public baths I visited in Belarus ...
