Mexico is distant and mysterious, strict and friendly!My wife and grandchildren and I visited the Yukotan Peninsula on my birthday from 30.10.-6.11.2021 Of course, crossing the border in Mexico is a "separate song"!The rest itself in the complex"Barcelo Grand Otel 5*” made an indelible impression: food, room service, accessibility of entertainment establishments and of course the Caribbean Sea with a clean beach and gentle clear water!!!Early in the morning I went to greet the dawn, after breakfast the whole family went to the beach, where you can not only swim, but also go boating, surfing or just sit in the Jacuzzi and drink beer, tequila, whiskey or rum!Since the territory of the complex is huge, you can take a ride by car every 5 minutes.In the evenings we walked along the alleys, visited the theater complex, unfortunately I did not go to the casino.The food is high-class, varied and for every taste (from European to Mexican and American cuisine).The rooms are spacious with a balcony and a beautiful view of the natural park, where squirrels, iguanas, and capybaras come in the morning.The room bar was replenished daily with delicious local Corona beer and Fanta soft drinks"Pepsi."We had a good rest, the children are happy with the local Aquapark and the warm, quiet and affectionate Caribbean Sea on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico in the Riviera Maya area!!!

An excellent hotel complex consisting of 6 hotels. In four of them you can use bars and restaurants, and in the rest you can only walk around the territory. The length of the beach is about 2 kilometers. There are a lot of places to take pictures. The entire territory of the complex is perfectly illuminated, which adds variety to the experience. In front of the Palace in the sea you can find a lot of fish near the reef, as well as an excellent sports complex and SPA to feed sea turtles with banana. There are two large theaters in which colorful shows are held in the evenings to the "live" music of the orchestra. There is a casino, bowling alley, mini golf and many slot machines in the Sports Bar. The disco was closed. There is a go-kart drop and a "live" wave and its own dolphinarium. Wedding ceremonies are held almost every day at various places on the beach. A bunch of iguanas and other small animals are running around the territory. Non-intrusive animation will not let you get bored, and excellent Cuisine and high-quality food with drinks will complement your vacation with positive impressions!!!

Very spacious rooms with good air conditioning. Good restaurants a la cart. We liked Italian the most, but it was in the mall. The beach is good, the water is clean. Waiters carry drinks and cocktails on the sun beds. The food in the shared restaurant is also delicious and varied. Alcohol will also be brought by anyone. And if you tip a dollar, they will bring you quickly and exactly what you ordered! :)

The hotel is super. A very large hotel complex. A free two-storey bus runs through the territory. There is a mall (shopping center), a water park, a roller coaster on the territory. The food is great, a huge variety of food. Very tasty desserts. There are many themed restaurants (not all of them were pleasant to taste).

A delightful hotel with a beautiful , well-maintained , huge territory , comfortable rooms. Impeccable service and high-quality, delicious , varied food . I was especially impressed with the assortment of seafood products and dishes! There are delicious cocktails in all bars, the bartenders try to satisfy even the most demanding customers.
The hotel staff is very friendly, attentive, and professional. Both adults and children will not be bored here . There is a children's club with good animation and a water park for children. The hotel has its own dolphinarium, which holds beautiful dolphin shows every day. Evening animation is also on top. What is especially important now, in the modern conditions of the pandemic , sanitary measures are being carried out flawlessly , in full. Despite the heat , the staff works not only in medical masks , but also in protective screens , glasses , and rubber gloves . After each visitor to the restaurant, tables and chairs are processed by dez. by means of . And all this is done at ease , with smiles ! I would like to return to such a hotel again , and more than once !

I am currently vacationing in Barcelo Maya tropical, the hotel is beautiful, my room is on the 1st floor with access to the terrace and 2 sun loungers. Among the advantages are a beautiful view from the room, very high-quality pastel linen, good cleaning, the room is large enough, free minibar. The food and service are better in Barcelo in the Caribbean, we eat there. Of the cons - a noisy copus, there are many local and noisy Russians. There are occasional algae on the beach, and today there are also large black flies flying near the water. I will be at the hotel until 06/19/2021 and I will be happy to answer your questions

Nice big hotel. It is slightly below the level of the Barcelo Bavaro in Punta Cana. It is better to settle in Maya Palace, it is much fresher and the choice of dishes is better.

What I didn't like: the room stock (old furniture, a rusty refrigerator, cracks on the sink and rust on the bathroom), slow check-in (if Americans are forced to drink welcome), then Russians are not, irregular cleaning; ignoring staff without tips. Among the advantages: a chic hotel area, la"card restaurants in the evenings (a wonderful steakhouse restaurant, fish, Mexican, so-so Spanish, Japanese). Evening entertainment at the Tropical Hotel (just super), beach, cocktails.

Disgusting hotel and disgusting beach. It was the 5th time in the network of Barselo. This attitude towards tourists is very strange. Unprecedented, I would say. I wrote an appeal to the general manager at the check-out. They didn't even reply or apologize. We were newlyweds. We have never even done anything pleasant in the room, etc.

Room service is minus 1!!!!, you have to ask for everything, slippers, bathrobes, pillowcases, I took off the bed linen myself, otherwise they won't change! The room cleaning is disgusting!
