Pros- clean, cozy. The food is not very good. The baked potatoes are raw inside, the sausage made from poultry is just sawdust. The choice is basically small. I barely ate, a little herring under my fur coat, but then my stomach hurt(Unexpectedly, they said it was a normal place with simple edible food. But we won't go any more.

We had a family weekend break in Vitebsk and went to have lunch in the dining room of the Batkov hut.
I really didn't like the food. It was bland and not tasty, it seemed that it was made from not quite fresh products. Everyone took different dishes and salads. And nobody liked it. Most of the food was left uneaten.
I will add one star for the friendliness and courtesy of the staff.
The next time we arrive in Vitebsk, we won't go there anymore.

A pleasant place in Vitebsk, where you can have a budget and delicious meal. We were at 17.08 in the evening, we had dinner quite early, at first the hall was half empty, but after a while there were more guests.
Of the advantages:
+ for dinner (cold brew, chopped cutlet with side dish and juice) they paid a little less than 11 rubles;
+ despite the low cost of the dishes, there is no feeling of a cheap canteen: the cutlet is tender from white poultry meat, not onions and bread, without cartilage, pieces of bones and fat;
+ portions are large;
+ clean room and restroom;
+ convenient location of sockets;
+ attentive and helpful staff;
Disadvantages that should be noted by the managers of the Batkov Hut:
- the dishes are served slightly warm. You can, of course, use a microwave, but it is unlikely that this will favorably affect the taste of dishes, and why create a queue of dissatisfied guests to it ...
- cards with the names of drinks are located very inconveniently inside the refrigerator, you have to bend over open glasses with juices, compotes and fruit drinks; there are not enough cards indicating what they are made of juices have to be determined by color, or specified at the checkout.
Despite the disadvantages, the impressions are generally good. Thanks!

We took an elementary set: soup, two pancakes with meat and a small chicken sausage. Such a lunch for two cost us almost 1300 Russian rubles. The interior could not be seen very clearly, as the people were visible and invisible. We were in the city of Vitebsk during the days of the Slavic Bazaar, most likely this affected both the price and the workload of the hall. In general, we did not get any vivid impressions. It was quite possible to eat in any of the open cafes on the pedestrian streets of the city - you would get more impressions for the same price.
