The hotel is good, but not five stars, 4.5.
We rested at the beginning of the covid. The food is good, a variety of banana food 😂
But there is another one, of course. The most delicious porridge that was eaten.
It is very interesting to feed animals and watch them. The sea, the buzz, everything is like in the pictures. The room stock is a bit old. We moved out of the room. They noticed that they had left a silver ornament. Returned, not stolen
Photos of the hotel are stuck from the ceiling, the hotel is on 3, before (2017) it was EVERYTHING!!! Much better, Hotel 4, where did the fifth star fall from? We were very disappointed, the new owners killed the hotel, it was much better with the Italians.
+ The sea. Fish near the "breakwaters", it was interesting for me to swim with a mask.
The food is ordinary. I didn't stay hungry. The territory of the hotel is very green. Birds walk around the territory. The room is clean. The bed linen is clean. The Internet in the room is free, the signal is good!
- rocky entrance to the water, I was better off with slippers. Something tasty was disassembled very quickly and a new portion was not carried immediately...I'm talking about mango, for example. The territory is shabby (the one that is not green)...there are hotels where it goes into flavor...like a touch of antiquity... That's not here...old and not worth the money (imho). The room is very old. Everything is new everywhere in the photo, but this is not true. There were micro ants in my room. Someone lives in the bed too, after one night I woke up bitten, it looks like a bug bite, but this is not accurate, otherwise I would have been bitten every night. The air conditioner didn't work well, it made noise like an old refrigerator... but... Due to this, it was possible to block out the noise from the music, it is SOOOOO loud. Music until 12 a.m. and later...It was terrible for me!!!! Because of this, my whole vacation is ruined. I hadn't read about this in any of the reviews, and therefore I wasn't ready for this. The air conditioner only froze, did not change the mode as a result, it stopped working. The reception said that it was a breakdown on the street and they are fixing it, but this is not true
The hotel has justified 5 stars. The food, alcohol, location, clean beach, staff were pleased.
Positive: 1. If difficulties arise, they are solved within 15 minutes. For example, issues with the room (no hair dryer, beach towels, room cleaning, etc.).
2. Food is on fire! It is delicious food, not ordinary and the same thing every day. Pizza, like in Italy. Pasta is prepared in your presence from ingredients that you choose yourself. Ice cream every day. Chicken, fish, beef, pork to choose from in different cooking methods. There were mussels and squid. Lobster menu for a fee. You can sign up for the Ala Carte restaurant 3 times a week. That is, Brazilian, Mexican, Japanese, etc. cuisines are free. The food, again, is delicious.
3. Entertainment. The animation is super. The guys are positive, they try their best, and they can do a lot and even more! Thank them very much for the mood and the emotions presented. There is a program for every day. Stretching, aqua aerobics, social dance lessons - before lunch. After lunch, volleyball, tennis, crazy games, zumba and other entertainment. In the evening, the disco is approximately until 2 a.m. and the animation guys are around all the time. And they will invite you to dance and will not let you get bored.
Cons: the entrance to the water begins with large stones (sometimes cobblestones 50x50 cm). It lasts a maximum of a meter. Then the sand. It's not a problem, just extra time to log in. If there is no storm and the water is clear, then it does not cause discomfort, since you can see where to step. The sand is closer to white, but not snow-white. There is no music on the beach (where the pool is, the music is great). There are no more disadvantages in this heavenly place.
Bottom line: I advise you to come, see, try everything to the maximum and relax your body and soul. Time flies by imperceptibly here. And yes, I want to come back!
This is our fourth time in this hotel. This hotel is the best where I have been, there are many animals like turkeys, ducks and many different exotic birds, I am very glad that I found this hotel. With COVID-19, the hotel's services have hardly changed, the food is very tasty, and a wide variety of fruits. All the staff and animators at the hotels are very friendly and helpful. If you have lost your bag by the time you arrive, they will call at least the whole area to find it.The price is not very expensive, we took 330.000 for three with a child of 12 years for 17 days and 16 nights through a mother-in-law tour.In general, I really like everything, we are going to fly back for the New Year.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!
Good territory, great beach, terrible food (I tried everything for 3 days, spent 2 days on tolkan, ate boiled potatoes with greens the rest of the week), standard rooms for 3 and not 5 stars. The first number that we were given, a layer of dust as thick as a finger, everywhere. Non-working plumbing, the pusher was repaired 2 times))) and I'm not the monster))). The hum from the air conditioner is like sleeping on the runway. Oh, and alcohol from under the counter, badyaga is terrible, drink only what is poured in front of you from bottles! And the locals, it's just ..... A scribe... Now, at the mention of the Dominican Republic, even the eye twitches... I do not advise against the word-at all!!!
I do not recommend this hotel. We had a rest in December 2021, building 4, floor 2, Double Deluxe room.
Upon check-in, we were allocated two bath towels and one foot mat for two people. That's it! After our request, they brought one face towel. A day later, another one was brought for the face. Towels sometimes came across quite old, crumpled at the edges and gray in color (originally white). A maximum of one towel was changed per day, or none at all. When asked to replace the towel, the maid smiled warmly, nodded and said "no problem", but this did not mean that she would replace it today and replace it at all. By the way, our hotel guide described the Dominicans exactly like that.
Water from the air conditioner dripped from the ceiling between the entrance to the bathroom and the wardrobe, and there was a puddle on the floor. We have made a request. The locksmith came the same day, but after his "repair" nothing changed. The next day, the application was repeated. This time, apparently, I did something, because it stopped dripping, but for exactly a couple of days. Then it dripped again, but only a little. But! When vacationers moved into the room on the floor below, the floor began to be covered with dew in the area of their air conditioner. Their air conditioner cooled our floor, and moisture condensed on it. Our floor was always cold and wet (between the bathroom and the closet).
Room cleaning is very conditional. It is better not to look under the bed, it has not been washed there for several months. The walls, the curtain in the bathroom are so dirty, dirty, and stained that it is not pleasant to take a shower. The faucet above the sink is short, it is not convenient to use, splashes fly in all directions. There was water around the sink, which the maid only wiped occasionally. The shampoo bottle over the bathroom is barely holding on, it's about to fall off. The hair dryer is also kept on the wall "on snot".
The coffee maker wasn't working. Our application was ignored. Or was it repaired in the same way as the air conditioner? But it never worked.
Next - food.
Many people write in the reviews "you will not stay hungry." This is true. But you won't get pleasure from eating either. There are a lot of salads, but their appearance was alarming. The soups seem to be good, but they were so salty several times that it was impossible to eat. The milk was sour several times, and the yogurt frothed too. The first time they showed sour milk to the restaurant manager, then they stopped. They realized that it was useless.
The choice of dishes seems to be there, but there is nothing to eat. As much as my boyfriend is not picky about food, and then he said, "Yeah, Dominicans can't cook."
Now, that's what we didn't like.
The Caribbean Sea, of course, is gorgeous. The descent to the sea is rocky, but there are good beaches of other hotels within a 10-minute walk. Maybe other hotels are better? But we don't set foot here anymore))
Anyway, it's unlikely that we'll fly to the Dominican Republic again. It's a very long flight, not worth it. We hope that Thailand will be opened after all))
They were in December 2021.
The food is edible, the sea is warm, the staff is polite, everyone says hello "Hola!". Cool.
The rooms are not new, but everything works. Only the door to the balcony was not locked.
There is a swimming pool, but it was not used. It smells like bleach.
One of the worst 5 star hotels in the Dominican Republic.
The room stock is old. But they even cleaned up. The hot water was stable only in the early morning or at night. It was impossible to adjust during busy hours. The mattress was rumpled. The pillows and mattress were already in such terrible condition that everything was in 2-3 pillowcases. The rating for the rooms is 2.5 out of 5.
Very hard audibility - even the slightest noise can be heard. Without exaggeration.
The area is really well landscaped. Ducks and geese are running around, there are a bunch of peacocks and other birds.
There is a basik - we have not swum more than once. We went to the beach.
There are a lot of sun beds - but you need to take them next to the water in the morning. In general, it's not a problem - I threw towels (they give them separately under the beach) and went to breakfast.
Entering the water is uncomfortable due to the fact that there was previously a coral shore that was covered with sand. The sand was naturally washed away. But they knew this in advance from previously left reviews. But the sea is clean from this - there is no turbidity from the sand, nor algae. And if this is news to someone, then on this side of the Dominican Republic is the sea, not the ocean.
Lots of sun beds are good - enough for everyone. But the beach itself looks like a collective farm because of this.
The overall rating for the beach is 3.5 out of 5.
And now the worst thing is the FOOD.
The Shvets table - it seems to be a lot of everything - but there is NOTHING to eat. The food is so tasteless. That you'll just be looking for something to eat. We talked to Russians and Ukrainians - everyone was terrified of food and also every meal is just a search for tasteless and cheap food among just terrible food.
Seafood will be free, except for shrimp and mussels- but it will be impossible to eat from them. It's just slop.
We were also at the New Year's dinner - there was a crab and mussels - the same slop. They didn't eat. The smell is the same.
What did you eat? Scrambled eggs for breakfast. Meat for lunch. There's meat for dinner too. It's you that they cook with you right away.
Everything will be very greasy. Even for those who are used to eating fried potatoes))))
There are 4 separate restaurants free of charge. And 1 or 2 paid ones, in my opinion.
You can go to the free ones 3 times a week.
But everything is also bad there. In Rybnoye, for which there were at least some hopes, they did not even begin to eat - they just left.
The food is still tasteless, cooked terribly.
In general, you can talk for a long time about how bad it was with food. The rating is 1 out of 5. One point for just not starving to death.
Now, as for drinks, cocktails are cheap. Tasteless. But the rum itself is normal.
And just good local draft and bottled beer under the brand "president".
The most important thing who has read up to this point is to be careful with the ice. In general, in the whole Dominican Republic. Non-drinking water is frozen.
What else should I add? If you thought that I was kind of spoiled and wrote all this from the top, you are mistaken. If you want to check, go check it out) but I warned you)
In general, everything is more or less except food. You don't notice the rest because you get high in the Dominican Republic from the weather and the sea / ocean)
I don'T recommend this hotel as a result.
It is dangerous to visit with young children.
The title is sonorous, but there is an explanation for this. So:
1. There is practically no food available for younger children. The exception is oatmeal and yogurt during breakfast.
2.There is no children's playground and no children's animation except for 20-30 minutes of children's dancing at 8.30 pm local time.
3. Mosquitoes on the territory. Their peculiarity is that they fly completely without sound and the bite site itches only for a short time.
4. A rather steep descent into the water. A meter from the water's edge, large stones are already beginning, which are not visible due to the sand agitated by the wave and on which even adults can easily break their legs.
5. on the beach itself, there are often stones sticking out of the sand, about which my child injured his toes several times while running. The peculiarity of these stones is their relative invisibility due to their sand-like color and loose structure. They look like small sand piles and that's the danger.
6. An infection is walking around the hotel. The first days we swam in the pool and on the 5th day my child's temperature rose to 39 and there was incessant loose stools and abdominal pain, vomiting. We had to call a doctor who prescribed us an antibiotic, which did not immediately correct the situation. Asking parents with children, it turned out that almost all children vacationing during this period got similar phenomena. On a couple of evenings, the children vomited right during the children's dances.
7. A special trash is two working motorcycles with punched mufflers constantly cruising around the hotel. The noise is incredible. A quiet hour for a child is an extreme event. I had to close the doors and turn on the fan in the bathroom, the one-dimensional noise of which partially offset the harsh noise of a motorcycle passing under the windows.
As for the rest for adults, I have never been hungry. Mango and papaya fruits are constantly in the dining room...Seafood. Meat. You can always find an empty table. The empty food trays are updated in a timely manner. Alcohol in bars is not branded. A delicious chocolate drink and coffee brewed in the bar.
You could always find a free sunbed on the beach, despite the full load of the hotel.
The animation guys, as has been noted many times, work perfectly. The programs are almost all day long. There are no Russian-speaking animators.
There are fish of various kinds in the sea. I have seen moray eels and barracudas personally. A mask and a tube with you are desirable. Not the red sea, but still.
In the evening, after the children's animation, there is an adult program.
The rooms are partly old and partly renovated. The TV did not turn on - the batteries in the remote control ran out. The remote was changed on the fourth day, despite daily reminders. As a result, they changed the remote control and replaced it with a remote control for another TV model. I left a request for a replacement of the remote control a couple more times, after which I spat on this case. TV is not the main thing on vacation.
Wi-Fi is available at the reception, on the beach and in the room. There was a great lack of Internet in the dining room. Perhaps it was not specially made there so that people would not linger.
There are shops to the right of the beach. Where you can buy mangoes for a dollar. You won't find it cheaper, so you can buy home gifts as well. Do not buy cocoa balls in these shops, they are fake there, as if they look like a truffle candy. High-quality cocoa balls can be purchased at the MYA market store, which is a 20-minute walk to the left of the hotel. Google map will help you. There is also rum, coffee and other gifts for the house. Prices are 25-30% cheaper than at the hotel. Mango is not there). Next to mya market, below and to the right of 150 meters, there is a Russian shop, which also has interesting products to buy and so on.
I do not recommend swimming in the hotel pool. Loose stools and abdominal pain will spoil your rest.
The territory of the hotel is very green, the shade of trees is everywhere. It is very beautiful and pleasant. Fish and turtles in an artificial pond. A family of turkeys, ducks, and a peacock walking around the territory.
In addition to a mask and a snorkel, I recommend taking an antibiotic for intestinal infections, a thermometer, mezim, immodium, a fumigator with tablets in the room.
There are no 8 operating restaurants there, as indicated in some sources. There is actually only one and a common dining room. In general, the hotel is almost fully operational: many restaurants are closed, the infrastructure such as fountains, etc. is not all working. The staff is diverse: some are really friendly, but there are also indifferent or even negatively minded. What was the cost of an aunt-waiter casually serving meat in a restaurant. A friend was congratulated on his birthday after 40 minutes of waiting, while there was no cake - they folded ordinary cakes and stuck a candle in! The hotel did not congratulate another friend on his birthday in any way. Shame on the hotel!!! In fact, these are 3 stars at most. Everything is in a state of oblivion. The beach is normal. At the entrance to the water, the remains of a coral reef that was once blown up to create an unobstructed entry into the sea. Think about it, those who appreciate nature - is it worth going to such a hotel! There are no natural juices. They give you something like a dry diluted swill. The food in the dining room is good - there is a lot of choice. However, there is not much choice of fruits, as would be expected in a tropical country. For example, mangoes were rarely given and extremely limited. The hotel is located close to the entrance to the national park, but there is almost nothing to do in the park, because there are few paved trails/routes. No excursions to the park are offered. I only know one path leading to the cave. It takes about 30 minutes to get there. Wear comfortable shoes and no slates, because most of the trail over the rocks is sharp in places. In general, the hotel management is reprimanded for not caring about the organization of the hotel. Perhaps the hotel shone when it opened, but now everything is completely different. Friends who vacationed here 3-4 years ago did not recognize the hotel. They said that everything used to be more dignified.
The stunningly green territory of the hotel with a small zoo - ducks, geese, turkeys walk around the territory, they can be fed. Fish and turtles live in the pond, they love buns very much)
Our room was normal, unremarkable, clean. Take mosquito repellents and more! They are not afraid of an ordinary fumigator.
The food was very tasty. For 12 days, we have never repeated the dishes, there are fish, meat, seafood, vegetables and fruits. Desserts and pastries are generally killer delicious. It's better to drink coffee in the coffee bar, it's insanely delicious!
A great place to relax, the Caribbean Sea, white sand, smiling and friendly locals, everything is great at the hotel, there is something to eat / drink around the clock, now (February 23) I am here, I don't even want to think about going home, I fell in love with the Dominican Republic and this hotel.
A normal hotel for its number of stars. In principle, I liked everything, except for a couple of moments. First of all, the rocky entrance to the sea on the beach. I saw at least four people who badly injured their legs, including me. The pool is very dirty, I have never seen it cleaned, although it smells stable with bleach. The food menu is pretty boring, but don't stay hungry. Room cleaning is also a three-piece. If something is not completed, then the refrigerator will not be replenished. Check everything in the room! The hair dryer was changed, the phone did not work. There is not a single channel in Russian on TV. On the positive side, if you want a delicious cocktail, then find a gentleman on the beach, his name is Willian, he is the only one who was happy throughout the vacation!

Good afternoon.
I was vacationing with my wife and adult daughter (14 years old) at the Be Live Collection Canoa 5* (Bayahibe) from September 14 to 25, 2019 from the tour operator Coral Travel, according to the All Inclusive catering system, on the Caribbean coast.
The flight to the Dominican Republic was operated by Royal Flight. There are no complaints, the departure at 07:20 was carried out without delay. During the flight (for 11 hours), they were fed 2 times on board, and water was carried several times (standard set). There was a cooler in the cabin, it was possible to drink water at any time without any problems. Please note that on the company's website you can choose seats in the cabin for an additional fee. You will not receive any other preferences for the seats you have paid for. I think that the costs on your part for choosing seats can be avoided, you will be provided with seats at check-in, although, according to observation, some couples in the cabin were seated almost at different ends.
We arrived in the Dominican Republic (at Punta Cana airport) on schedule. Previously, on the plane, the flight attendants handed out Migration cards required by the local customs service to fill in (there is nothing difficult to fill out, you can find a sample of filling on the Internet). The only negative thing about the whole trip was that they passed customs for exactly 2 hours, the room was stuffy. At the same time, a plane from Canada landed with the Russian side (500 people) (approximately 300 people). The flows were immediately divided: 1 window for passengers with children under 7 years old and flight staff, 3 windows for Russians, and 3 windows for Canadians. When you arrive in the Dominican Republic, immediately forget about the rush. Everything is very measured, no one is in a hurry. But no one canceled the creativity on the part of the host party. When people began to worry and express their first discontents, local dancers were invited, who began to entertain tourists with local colorful dances and songs!!! Dissatisfaction was minimized, many switched to video and photography of an impromptu concert. When passing through customs, fingerprinting of each adult tourist was carried out, this method of identification did not apply to children. There are no tourist visas and fees when visiting the country.
The transfer from Punta Cana airport to our hotel took 45 minutes (an extreme tourist of our hotel boarded the bus after passing customs 2.5 hours after boarding the plane). We got there quickly, our guide Marina told us a lot of interesting information about the Dominican Republic. We were at the hotel at 15:30 (time difference from Moscow: -7 hours). We were greeted with welcoming smiles and the obligatory "tea", a local drink, for new arrivals, and within 20 minutes, we were checked into the room, the suitcase and bags were delivered by the hotel's belboy (thanked with a tip).
Upon check-in at the reception, we were given three electronic room keys, three cards for receiving beach towels, a lock with a key to the safe (for an additional fee, payment at check-out). There was no additional charge for Wi-Fi, it worked throughout the hotel. We communicated with relatives via Skype without any problems (there were, of course, "hangups", but where without it).
The room was standard (we were settled in No. 720). I was very pleased that the room had a balcony and was located on the 2nd floor of a 3-storey cottage. In the room: 2 double beds, telephone, TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, iron, coffee maker, hair dryer (it is better to take your own), mini-bar and safe (paid, $3.5 per day). The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub (not a shower cabin). The mini-bar was replenished on a daily basis – cola (3 bottles of 0.5 liters), sprite (3 bottles of 0.5 liters), beer (2 cans of 0.25 liters), still water (initially 3 bottles of 0.5 liters, then 1 bottle of 1.5 liters) + coffee, tea, sugar. Room cleaning is daily, towels and linen are changed once every two days (or if required more often, you can always arrange with the friendly staff). No tips were left for cleaning, but this did not affect the quality of cleaning, changing bed linen, filling the mini-bar and the variety of towel figurines. They did not refuse the safe, they felt that it was better not to take risks, as they say, God protects the safe. In our room, an adapter to local outlets for charging mobile phones was not needed (in extreme cases, an adapter can always be purchased in shops on site).
The territory of the hotel is large and well-maintained, all surrounded by greenery and flowers. "Chicken Paradise" is the affectionate unofficial name of this hotel. And all because here you can see and feed free-roaming ducks, geese, chickens, turkeys and other feathered friends. There are several reservoirs on the territory: in a small artificial one (near a Japanese restaurant), feathered young animals swim, in a large natural one, in addition to geese and ducks, fish and turtles live. Starting from breakfast, lunch or dinner, it is considered mandatory for a tourist to stop and feed birds and waterfowl.
Bars and restaurants. There are 5 restaurants with a variety of cuisine and 6 bars on site. The main restaurant is the buffet restaurant "La Piragua" with a huge selection of meat (veal, lamb, beef) and fish dishes, pastries, ice cream and fruits, fresh juices for breakfast, at least two types of soup for lunch. It is impossible to stay hungry here and, unfortunately, not gain extra pounds (even if you arrange yourself sea swims for an hour or do fitness at a local gym). There are dishes for dietitians and, of course, a children's menu – breakfast cereals, porridges. The food is always fresh, there were no special dishes. The fruits were watermelons, melons, pineapples, bananas, apples, mangoes, papaya, passion fruit, avacado, pitaya and carambola. As for seafood, the choice, to put it mildly, is not very rich. In the hall, after you have sat down at the table, the service staff comes up to you, and you can order drinks (only wine and beer from alcohol). From A la carte we visited 3 restaurants – Japanese, Mexican and Mediterranean cuisine. I liked the Japanese cuisine restaurant the most, where a whole performance was played with the preparation of dishes, in which the guests of the restaurant took a direct part. A little more was expected from the Mediterranean and, especially, Mexican (but this, as they say, is for an amateur) – the dishes are delicious, but the choice is small, with seafood very scarce. You could have a snack during the day at the pizzeria Pizza and Pasta Snack Bar. Seafood can be ordered at El Pelicano for an additional fee (from $30 per dish).
The bars offer a wide selection of alcoholic beverages (there is even champagne, although you will not see it among the bottles at the bar, but if you ask for a glass, they will not refuse you) and locally produced soft drinks, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. My preference on this vacation is rum or mamahuana (a local alcoholic drink consisting of honey, rum and (or) wine infused with plant components: wood, bark, leaves, herbs and spices – BE SURE to try it). I must say right away that the bars were not empty, however, during our presence at the hotel we did not see ANY (!!!) a drunken tourist who needed outside help to get to his room. The work of the bars began at 10:00, ended in bars: by the pool, on the beach, in a Mexican restaurant – at 18:00, and in bars: in the theater and sports bar - at 24 hours. In the coffee bar you can enjoy a wide variety of delicious coffee (opening hours are from 10:00 to 22:00). If you want to order a coffee cocktail popular all over the world using ice cream, then order Irish Coffee, unfortunately, they do not cook it. At the beach bar, you can order an original alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktail in pineapple or coconut for $2-3
The contingent of the hotel. Germans, French, Argentines, Americans, Spaniards, Ukrainians, Belarusians and Russians lived in the hotel. The atmosphere was very friendly: cultural and calm communication, the absence of any hostility and aggression towards others, a continuous sea of smiles and positivity.
Beach. The hotel has its own sandy beach (fine white sand), partially equipped with awnings and a sufficient number of sun beds. There were enough sun beds for everyone, there was no need to come early in the morning to book it. For an additional fee ($10 per day), you can use a comfortable four-poster beach canopy. Beach cleaning was carried out on a daily basis (including from marine "goodies" that come ashore after a surf or storm). To maintain cleanliness, the beach is additionally equipped with garbage containers. After swimming in the sea, you can rinse in the outdoor shower at the entrance / exit to the pool area, the toilet room is located in the building next to the shops on the beach. Beach towels are provided free of charge by the hotel card near the pool (at the entrance from the cottages to the pool area to the left). In the evening, towels can be exchanged for new ones or handed over after receiving the cards. The opening hours of the towel collection/delivery point are from 7:30 to 18:00.
Many are afraid of entering the sea. Fine sand is replaced by a narrow strip of stone slabs or stones that make it difficult to enter the sea, and then sand again. Unfortunately, after walking along the beach, we could not find a place where this strip would be absent, and the entrance to the sea would be ideal. A more or less good entrance, which was used, is located on the left side of the lifeguard tower (if you look at the sea), and a wooden deck leading to the sea can also serve as a guide for the entrance. To solve the problem, you can buy bathing slippers in the shops at the hotel (from $15) or bring them with you. We did without them. Be careful when entering the sea, especially when there are waves on the sea. The swimming area is fenced with buoys, not very deep. When swimming up to them, be careful, as you can hit artificial underwater fences (they resemble large cement amphorae without a lid and bottom, with a large number of holes inside). If you stand on such an "amphora", then you will be stung. Local fauna lives next to the "amphorae" – a variety of colorful fish, small crabs, sea urchins, so take a mask, you will not regret it. For those who just like to swim, you can arrange swims along the beach (150-200 m). The sea is gorgeous: warm and beautiful, there were no ALGAE. We rode the waves, swam and dived a lot.
Weather. During this period of time, the rainy season is replaced by sunny weather. This period is not yet the season for the Dominican Republic, but for our family the climatic conditions were very comfortable: the air temperature in the afternoon – up to +32, in the evening – up to +29, the water temperature – +27-+29 . During the rest period, we caught a tropical downpour (20-30 minutes of torrential warm rain, received a lot of positive emotions), for a couple of days the sun was hidden for some time by unexpectedly running clouds, the sea was a little stormy, but no one raised the red flag prohibiting swimming on the beach.
Animation. Cheerful, joyful, non–boring people, always smiling and responsive, starting and ending their day with dancing: in the morning from 10:00 – on the beach and by the pool, and in the evening - on Show Time. Darts, boccia, beach volleyball, aqua volleyball, water polo in the pool, aerobics, Latin American dance lessons, evening show programs are far from an incomplete list of the list that the animators of the hotel offer. I will not single out anyone, since the guys work as a well-coordinated unified team. The winners of the contests are usually awarded before the evening show program – men usually receive the winner's diploma and rum or cigar, girls and children – the winner's diploma and coffee beans. There are no losers in contests, everyone is charged with positivity and delicious cocktails. Don't be afraid to participate in contests, don't worry about what others will think of you, just relax and enjoy life. Picturesque nature, music, dancing, sea and sun – it's a BOUNTY. I recommend that you definitely watch the evening show program at the hotel - the Michael Jackson Show, you will not regret it.
Excursions. During our stay in the Dominican Republic, we went on an excursion to Saona Caribegna (the cost of an excursion with lunch included on the island and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on the ship was $79 per person, the tour was ordered from a representative of Coral Travel). This is a paradise island from Bounty ads with fine white sand, turquoise sea and palm grove. Initially, due to the rain, the tour was postponed to another day (Coral Travel does not risk the lives of its tourists and cares about the impressions they received from the tour). The postponement of the tour was carried out on the date WE desired. It took 45 minutes by minibus from the hotel to the pier. The boat trip to the island was 1.5-2 hours. Time flew by unnoticed – the sun, the sea, incendiary dancing under the guidance of the captain's team. According to the guide, she had not seen such a cheerful company of Russian tourists, gathered together for the first time, but dancing and singing very amicably, for a long time. We spent about 3 hours on the island: we had lunch, took a lot of interesting photos, sunbathed and swam. The daughters arranged a photo shoot with a professional photographer for an additional fee. For an additional fee, you could order something from seafood (a portion of lobsters cost us $30). We returned by high-speed boat, the boat trip took about 1 hour.
Our friends took a Safari tour of Hamer Jeeps (cost $99 per person), were very satisfied: we drove to the Antarctic coast of the Dominican Republic and swam, got acquainted with the life of local residents and local cuisine (we stopped in one of the local villages), stopped in a field, chopped and tasted one of the main export products of the Dominican Republic - sugar cane.
Before leaving the Dominican Republic, Coral Travel organized a trip to buy souvenirs at the store (the deposit for the trip was $ 10 per person, this amount was deducted from the receipt of purchased goods at the store). In the store, the guide conducted an introductory tour of the products offered – tea, coffee, cocoa, chocolate, rum, cigars. Various drinks were tasted. We bought everything in full.
Additional information. There is a private Club for VIP clients on the territory of the hotel. The Adult Club rooms offer high-quality service, meals are served in a separate restaurant, including access to an exclusive beach area and pool. Entrance to the Club is limited, only VIP clients are allowed.
Shops (including souvenir shops) and pharmacies on site are located next to the reception. Additionally, souvenir shops and shops with bathing goods are located on the beach.
I really liked the work of our guide from the Coral Travel company Marina – she did not impose excursions, provided all the necessary information, promptly solved any issues that arose, was always in touch via WhatsApp to provide all possible assistance. Thank you.
I will definitely advise my friends to visit the Dominican Republic and, in particular, this hotel, and there is a GREAT desire to visit this heavenly place again.
Overall, a very decent hotel. I rested twice. There are two main disadvantages:
Russian Russian children's club is actually unavailable because none of the staff speaks Russian. - the lack of animation (it is only formally available)
- for Russian children, the children's club is actually unavailable. none of the staff speaks Russian.
You should come to this hotel only if you want to enjoy the almost untouched nature. There is a nature reserve nearby - you can walk for several hours without civilization along the picturesque beach.
The kitchen is at a decent level, but there is not enough star from the sky. The same goes for the rooms.
There are already a lot of Russians this year, so there will be a suitable company.
The animation is super, the show, the dancing, they try very hard to entertain, the sea is beautiful, there is a cleaner beach a little further away and without stones, I would like the rooms to be updated and shrimp included in the menu. Otherwise, everything is fine.
Of course, after the sunscape service in Punta Cana, you can't compare, but the sea is gorgeous. There are problems with the air conditioning. The food is good. You can take everything for snorkeling for free, a kayak and even a sailing catamaran, but before that you need to complete training. Animation works well, as well as the hotel holds various contests for vacationers. I'm happy with my vacation.

The location of the hotel is excellent, the sea and the beach are beyond praise! The territory is excellent, green, well-groomed, birds, ducks, geese, etc. are tame. The power supply is 4-ku with a minus, normal. The staff is satisfactory, apparently it all depends on which shift is working, some do not even say hello. But the most important thing about the hotel is its location. I would still go there!
A great beach, one of the best in the Dominican Republic. Beautiful territory, lots of all kinds of animals. Not the most recent issues. On the one hand, the food is varied, but on the other it is of the same type and gets boring quickly. The fruits are very tasty. Different bars for guests of different status.
The hotel is suitable for those who want to relax on the shores of the beautiful Caribbean sea with a nice white beach, the rooms are good, the food is excellent, everything is no frills, it is not 5 stars of Turkey, the service is of course weaker, but it is the Dominican Republic! Don't stay in the hotel, travel! Yandex, add at least some information and maps of this country, there are a lot of Russians here, but with your service, for example, you can't travel around the capital...
I'll start right away with what I liked. The beach! Indeed, this is something heavenly: white sand, palm trees, warm sea (06.01.19). The sun beds are a little wet in the morning, but this passes when the sun comes out. There are bars on the beach with free drinks, but if you go there often and you have already been remembered, then they pour it reluctantly. Of course, if you leave them a couple of dollars, you'll get leniency in return and you'll be welcome until the bar closes.
Unfortunately, everything else was not pleasant, neither the hotel, nor the food or drinks. Everything is at an average level, for a 5-star hotel. The hotel/room is terrible!!! The light switches are broken. The faucet in the sink was dangling. The air conditioner was working very noisily! The restaurants that are included in the paid program were also not surprised by anything. There is no super food, no frills!
In my opinion, they flew in order to feel the contrast, from winter to summer - it's cool. And so, for this money (400,000), you can have a good rest in autumn or spring in Europe!

I stayed at this hotel in early November 2019. The vacation turned out to be amazing, thanks in part to this hotel. The hotel is located on a picturesque, remote beach with clean white sand, azure water in the sea and beautiful palm trees. The entrance to the sea is rocky, but if you go down from the pontoon, you can pass the stones and feel the soft sand under your feet. There is no one on the beach except the vacationers of the hotel, which, in my opinion, is of great importance, since the beaches in the Dominican Republic are public and locals come to them. There was no such thing in this hotel.
The rooms are located in three-storey blocks. My room was on the 3rd floor with a view of the neighboring buildings. The room stock is not fresh, cosmetic renovation is required, but this did not spoil the rest and being in the room, which I only came to sleep in. Nothing was flowing from anywhere, everything was working properly and everything was fine. The room was cleaned daily, although cleaning boils down to taking out baskets, changing those towels that are on the floor and sweeping. The linen was not changed for 10 days of stay, but I was alone in a double room with two beds and slept first on one then on the other, that is, a change of linen, or rather its absence, did not upset me. The room has a hairdryer, a minibar with daily refilled beer, pepsi and 7up, hygiene kit: soap, shampoo, shower gel and body lotion, safe, TV, ironing board and iron.
The food at the hotel is good, varied with seafood: squid, fish, shrimp, mussels were frequent guests at our tables. For me, everything is delicious and very tasty. The fruits were mangoes, pineapples, carom, papaya, melons, watermelons, apples, bananas, limes and passion fruit. There are 7 a la carte restaurants, where everything is also very tasty and you can visit them 3 times a week by appointment.
The hotel has animation for both adults and children, throughout the day. In the evenings, there are daily performances in the theater, a disco, an outdoor bar on the street.
I would recommend the hotel to visit

Beautiful territory, beautiful beach. Fine sand dissolves in water and makes it cloudy - it's not healthy. The food is disgusting, they don't know how and don't want to cook. Those who write that it is delicious are usually not picky and eat everything indiscriminately. You are in isolation, there is nowhere to walk, and you have to cut and saw to get to the city.
You can write about this hotel for a long time, but my mood was spoiled on the first evening after arrival - nothing was eaten from everything that fell into the plate. Life didn't prepare me for this.
Advantages: proximity to the sea, a cozy courtyard, a small town with infrastructure (1 km) and souvenir shops.
Good kitchen (4/5), there are always free sun loungers, three bars.
Cons:
strong alcoholic drinks are invigorating.
There are no Russian-speaking employees at the reception. If you are hosting guests from Russia, connect at least one satellite television information channel. Not enough seafood. Your chefs don't know how to cook meat. Just like in Rui Naiboa, it is raw or over-dried. It's probably everywhere in the Dominican Republic. Your animators on the beach spend all day sitting and drinking alcohol with tourists on sun beds. What are you paying them for? Clean the entrance to the sea from the stones. These are small flaws that I pointed out to you at your request. Everything else is just great. The sea, the weather. In general, everyone is in a good mood.
Well, I'm impressed by everything that happened at this hotel. It seems to me that at the moment it will be the most memorable of all the places I have visited. Let's start from the beginning.
About La Romana airport, everyone knows that everything is sooo slow there, at least 2 hours of downtime (tip: it's better to take paper to fill in the data and go immediately closer to the entrance) . Somehow we got out of there and the bus immediately picked us up and took us to the hotel in 25 minutes (it's very fast), the guide didn't even have time to tell us anything.
We arrived at the reception , left our bags, changed our clothes, went to breakfast and to the beach. Check-in to the rooms from 15:00, but my wife and I were checked in earlier, but we did not like the room because there were two separate beds, not one large one. Upon request, we were kindly changed and instead of the third floor, we received a second one in the first building. The rooms are normal, standard, everything works. A minibar (2 beers, pepsi and 7ap, coffee and tea, instead of a kettle there is a coffee maker) about the sockets they say to buy an adapter, but it worked fine for me, so see for yourself. The standard rooms do not include a safe and are offered for a fee, like 3 or 4 dollars a day, I do not remember exactly. Personally, I bought a small bag lock and everything was fine and saved $50.
I'll start with the food. You won't stay hungry for sure, I won't say that right wow, but when a typical meal gets boring, fruits, ice cream and sweets save you)) For breakfast, freshly squeezed juices and fruits (well, fruits around the clock, of course) a huge selection of everything, but not everything tastes like they say. The food is of course for 4 . It saves with a variety of 5 restaurants that are included . Only 3 restaurants can be booked per week (yes, they must be booked in advance) . I must say right away that pizza and Brazilian sucks completely, you can go to Milos once for dessert, take a chocolate fountain, the most normal, but long service. A cool Japanese restaurant, of course, the chefs arrange a show and cook in front of you, well, go to the Mexican one (from the second course, the mix is the most important topic, the last one seems to be on the menu).
Beach. I think many people are interested. Everything is great, of course, not just perfectly white sand, but still it is closer to white. The sea is beautiful, the buoys have artificial coral reefs and you can see different animals there. There is a minus one – this is entering the sea. First there is sand and then a meter and a half of cobblestones, large stones, in places it even hurts to step on and again the sand is soft. I found a more or less normal approach from the lifeguard booth from the Vera Club (the second booth from the pier if you look), wonderful, funny Italian animators usually hang out there. There are enough sun beds for everyone, start sunbathing in the shade otherwise you will burn to blisters.
The territory of the hotel is large, there are many different trees with and without fruits (I found two mango trees, if anyone is interested). There are a lot of animals that can be fed with bread from the canteen . 6 restaurants (one is paid) and a cafe on the pier is paid, but a photo shoot can be done for free))) 1 main pool (not very much, the water is waist-deep, warm, it's better to splash in the sea) and 2 VIP pools.
Entertainments. Darts, table tennis, boccia, volleyball, football, mini golf, archery once, you can also go canoeing (all inclusive). In the evening at 10 o'clock there is a show program. The most interesting thing is the Michael Jackson show, although when the dancers changed after some joints, other shows became interesting. The advice for "Russo turisto oblico morale" is to participate in competitions, win and get prizes, as I did, there is nothing complicated about it.
Animators are of course a special kind of entertainment, it just so happened that I started my vacation with Italian animators (Jack, Simone, J Blue, Paola Rodriguez, Davide, DJ, etc., they are just great, very funny guys, I recommend) A little later after some funny moments, I already started chatting and having fun with international ones, I want to highlight especially active in my direction are amigo – Dumba, Caramelo, Cappuccino, Vanilla, Bruno Mars, I don't remember the rest, but they are also good animators. In general, I was not bored, everything was cool and fun, I got a lot of emotions and impressions for a long time.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to the hotel management for the prompt execution of my requests. I think that the hotel is worth recommending to friends and relatives, and if there are discounts, then I will come back to you! Sincerely wrote a review by Nikolai for the Be live collection canoa!
I almost forgot to tell you about the guide who hangs out at the hotel. He's a crook, his name is Konstantin. Instead of suggesting that there are cheaper shops (from the hotel to the left to the Catalonia hotel, opposite there is a minimarket and a little further where the casino there are inexpensive shops and you can bargain. A free bus drives there from the reception, take a brooch with a schedule from the guys who are standing at the exit with their luggage.
Konstantin will offer you an option with the name factory (where there is no factory, but a very expensive store) and do not expect help from him, he does not care about anyone. There have already been many complaints about him. In short, I warned you. Thanks for attention.

Just returned from vacation, the hotel is great! The beach is clean, there were enough sun loungers for everyone, a large swimming pool, there are also enough sun loungers on it. The territory is small, but green and well-groomed, full of wildlife - ducks, peacocks, turkeys, turtles, fish. The food is fine, the central restaurant is spacious, there was always enough space for everyone, there were no queues like in Turkey. A good a la carte Mylos, everything is delicious, but extremely unhurried (this is generally a common feature of Dominicans). The bartenders in the bars are friendly and not greedy, they will pour as much as you ask). The room was taken superior, got the 3rd floor in the 18th building, the room is quite fresh, everything worked properly, the only minus is weak sound insulation, at night you could hear suitcases traveling down the corridor and cheerful Spaniards in the next room dropping dishes on the floor) otherwise the hotel is solid 5
An amazing trip, including thanks to the animators of the hotel, the chefs and its territory. 5+ a lot of different chips will not be boring. It's a pity that brady could have had more for 11 nights.
A wonderful blue sea, a beach with white sand, a green area with fruit trees and wild birds running around and asking for bread, but a slightly battered room stock, a battered pool and it's time to make up. And so the food is super, the cooks, the sea, the sun have never been repeated in a week.
Excellent hotel, large territory. The rooms are decent in the new buildings. Nimble staff. A large selection of food and drinks. The show program is so-so, but the beach is great.
High humidity, the jacket was hanging in the closet, moldy for 12 days. Excursions were cheaper at the hotel than at the Pegasus guide, and than at many Russian locals. The Pegasus guide Sergey actually said so much crap... The bed was changed 1 time in 12 days. If you have geographical cretinism, you will not master the territory of this hotel in 12 days, my girlfriend could not walk from the room to the restaurant alone)) The canteen is a little sparse. But sign up for local restaurants, they diversify well. There are many birds, fish, turtles and lizards on the territory. It is interesting to observe, many are tame.
Everything was great. Few Russians (5% out of 100) The air conditioning system failed sometimes. They went to do it and disappeared. It's their thing to disappear and say they're coming. The beach is nice, white sand, but when entering the water, pebbles. The pool is large, but a meter deep. There is a lot of alcohol, but it does not get drunk))) Mostly one rum)
Excellent hotel, very kind staff, very tasty food and almost around the clock. The beach is like in the picture, I really liked everything, we were there for 10 days
A great hotel for your budget. It is more suitable for people of 50+ with its rhythm.
All life is only inside. There is absolutely nothing nearby. The nearest shops are about 3 km away.
The food was disgusting, we haven't eaten worse anywhere else! Improve nutrition!everything else is fine, the sea, the sun, the beach. Even on the beach in the area of the VIP zone, sewage is drained into the sea.
Draining the sewage system into the sea right on the beach, and in the VIP guest area. Dead turkey chickens are lying along the walking paths and no one cleans them up until you complain.
