I read reviews that it was like the best beach in Abkhazia and I came... Well, the road goes only through the whole of Pitsunda, from the side of Sukhumi it is not an option to stop by at all. The road along the beach itself is dusty, the beach infrastructure is a C minus. The beach is really sandy at first glance, but when entering the sea there are stones, so do not expect a miracle here. Still, the local municipality (this applies to everyone in Abkhazia) would somehow monitor the cleanliness of the coastal zone and there would be more tourists, people would be more satisfied, and the local budget would receive more money. Somehow unite the locals, in the end it's in the common interest, the place is promising!

The beach itself is sandy, not pebbly, as it is mostly in Abkhazia. We are located near the boat rental place, right in front of the seamount. It is quite possible to swim to the mountain, which we did. True, there were a lot of jellyfish that day, but you get used to them. It is necessary to swim to the mountain, because an underwater mountain about 100 meters from the shore is an interesting sight.
