An egregious incident occurred in a store in the Rio shopping center today. The child was watching a dinosaur toy, and it was standing on the edge of the shelf and fell out of his hands. He put it back in its place. For understanding, this is a small plastic dinosaur. The packaging is a cardboard box with plastic glued to it. And this plastic packaging peeled off from the cardboard along the contour. Obviously, the packaging was damaged before us, if the packaging was detached from a slight fall of a small toy. After the toy fell, a disgruntled seller immediately approached me and after a couple of minutes came up to me saying that the child had broken the toy and we had to pay for it. Considering that the toy was not damaged, but the problem is only with the packaging. And the child accidentally dropped it out, he did not pick or spoil it. My son was immediately scared and told me that it was an accident. I told them to contact the manager or show me the rules according to which sellers should demand money in such situations. To which the seller rudely shouted at us: Oh, that's it, don't.
I went to the cashier, where another seller was standing and asked for a book of complaints. They continued to answer absolutely rudely that she was not there. I asked for their names to leave feedback about the incident. They brushed me off again. Then this seller started calling someone and telling me to give my name in order to collect the alleged money. I looked at my upset son, who was whispering to me that he had done nothing wrong, and told the girls that we were leaving.
So the child burst into tears at the exit, of course I calmed him down. We have been regular customers of your network since we lived in Russia. But the child said he would never come to you again. Of course I am too. I wonder how the seller's behavior correlates with your company's policy. I consider this a blatant disgrace. You are a store for children and in such situations there should be a completely different code of conduct that sellers should be familiar with.
