Belarusfilm Film Studio is located at 98 Nezavisimosti Avenue and is one of the leading studios in Eastern Europe. It offers a full cycle of film production, including the development and refinement of scripts, the formation of film crews, the selection of actors and extras, the production of scenery and the rental of costumes and props.
On the territory of the film studio there are three film pavilions and a full-scale site with an area of 90 hectares, where various landscapes for shooting films and clips are presented. The film studio actively cooperates with foreign companies and attracts investments for the development and modernization of its activities.
The staff of the film studio notes the high level of professionalism, creativity and comfortable working conditions. They also emphasize the importance of preserving the traditions of Belarusian cinema and actively participating in international film festivals.
Belarusfilm Film Studio is an important cultural and economic center of the country, which contributes to the development of the film industry and the preservation of national heritage.
I was on the tour for almost two hours, it was very interesting, history, exhibits, pavilions for filming, storage of furniture, various household utensils, clothes, shoes, hats, weapons, everything that can be used for filming films and mutfilms.
The pride of the Belarusian cinema. This studio has shot a lot of iconic films, even the Adventures of Pinocchio. The studio itself has covered pavilions for filming movies or TV shows. There is even its own armory.
We were on an excursion with children. Impress with huge hangars with furniture, shoes, costumes...And all these are props...Interesting! You can touch and try on a lot of things. And if you also watched the films shot at this film studio, then the interest is multiplied by 5) And the costumes, it turns out, can be rented very budget-friendly here. The guide is friendly, unobtrusive, very patient. It's a great place. Definitely worth a visit.
A fairly clear room. We were on the set.
Of the cons:
- there is no toilet paper and soap in the toilets
- the room is stuffy
Of the advantages:
- very close to the metro
- polite security
- the organizers of the set are cute girls
On September 13, the Council of Veterans of the Mogilev Automobile Plant, a branch of BelAZ, organized a tourist trip for veterans of the plant to Minsk, to the Belarusfilm studio and other important historical sites in Minsk. The studio impressed with its scale and the number of exhibits, which number in the hundreds of thousands. There are costumes and shoes of Karabas - Barabas, Little Red Riding Hood, Pinocchio and others. There are a lot of clothes and shoes from the 18th - 19th centuries, weapons and other antiques. How they take everything into account is incomprehensible to the mind. There are several large pavilions in the studio, where the entire interior is equipped before filming , houses and huts are assembled that cannot be distinguished from the real ones. Near the studio, in an open area, there is artillery, which is used during filming: with a caliber from a howitzer to a shrike. We especially liked the pyrotechnics and weapons warehouse. A young guy in a camouflage uniform thoroughly explained to us what types of weapons were used to protect our country during the wars.Carbines, rifles , submachine guns, machine guns, armor-piercing weapons, even the Maxim machine gun, which the Chapaevites fought with. There are checkers, daggers, swords on the table. Everything was allowed to be touched by hands. It should be added that all the weapons on the stands are in working condition and are used on the set. However, for some, blanks are fired during filming. The guide told an interesting fact: the diameters of the barrel and , accordingly, the mines of our and German mortars were different : our mines and the barrel were larger, So the mines of German mortars could be used for ours , but our mines did not fit their mortar. There are different types of radios, telephones and other household appliances of different modifications in the warehouses of equipment and are arranged in ascending order. We did not get to the warehouse of automotive equipment used on the set, as it would have taken an additional day to inspect it. After the tour, we had the honor to have lunch at the local cafe "White Roses". Here, after grueling filming, local Allens Delons and Leonards DiCaprio are delayed. We liked the service and the range of dishes. After Belarusfilm, she showed us the main historical sights of Minsk. She showed the restored town hall, Trinity suburb. There are a lot of sports facilities, there is a 100-meter long swimming pool , a hockey palace that was built for the 2014 World Cup, a gymnastics palace, the Kommunarka factory, the Agat plant and others. We also drove past the lake and the famous village of Drozdy, where the wealthiest Belarusians are entrenched: businessmen, functionaries and sports officials. The tour guide said that the cheapest cottages start at a million dollars. You guys have settled in well, judging by the medals our athletes have won. Interestingly, with such a "fierce" fight against corruption, no one got to them.
It is pointless to compare Minsk with Mogilev, but "there are spots in the Sun". Our driver initially drove in the wrong direction, returning back, barely squeezed between two rows of passenger cars that were placed opposite each other in violation of all the rules. The area near the studio, on the back side, is overgrown with bushes , and there is not a single bench near the facade of the building: why would that be? In Minsk, I worked in the direction in 1973 - 76, at a motorcycle factory. Now the plant is on its knees, but a construction site has unfolded on the territory of the plant, probably the Chinese are " doing something chemical. ". Minsk has changed dramatically and left a double impression. On the one hand, giant buildings are striking, and on the other, I sympathize with the residents of these skyscrapers.
Belarusfilm has a tour of the film studio. I really liked it. It lasts 3 hours, very interesting. Huge halls with furniture from different eras and years, costume rooms, an armory. A very cool movie studio!
It is the building that is interesting, with a history, with its own character, as a building everything in it is fine, but in the rooms where the programs are filmed it is very stuffy sometimes it is simply unbearable even for a young person to be, there is not enough oxygen. It 's better to freeze a little , but to breathe than to count the off - scale pulse from lack of oxygen, an air conditioner would not hurt more .
The history of Belarusian cinema.
Wonderful films were born here, giving rise to good feelings in the soul.
I hope everything will come back and we will see new ones.
Expectations were not fulfilled. The pavilions are just squares fenced off by party lines. We were very pleased with the staff, they are all sociable, pleasant, they help at everything, they try.
A good film studio since childhood.our Belarusian films always penetrate to the depths of any person's soul.yes, without pathos, without additional effects, but really simple and somehow childishly naive.
I liked the tour. I found myself in a Great Empire. We touched the "bins" and saw the epochs. We returned to childhood, where Alice the Fox, Pinocchio, Little Red Riding Hood ...
Time flew by unnoticed.
The building is beautiful, the architecture is impressive. There is a pass mode inside, you just won't get there) maybe there are opportunities to consider this studio, but I don't know about them
We rented a uniform. Everything is prompt . They always meet us halfway. thank you very much.

I was on the set of the factor.Bai
liked everything very much, the friendly and courteous staff, there were no problems with entry, the queue moved quickly and the show was awesome
An interesting tour, I really liked it! Thanks to the guide Elena.
The weapons depot interested not only boys, but also adults.
In warehouses with clothes and furniture, it felt like I was in the USSR.
Very informative and interesting, I recommend it!
ARE THEY DEAD? Is there anything else being filmed here? Except for "soap" and zakazukhi for Russian TV. Almost nowhere now do we see Belarusian films proper, which are infrequent on TV screens. And not at all in Minsk cinemas. But what wonderful films - informative and interesting - were shot here. And the acting school has still been preserved since Soviet times, it's enough to go to the theaters. Then what's here now? Well, except for excursions. Where is the exhaust?
I was here on the set of the program Фактор.by .
Everything was great, but it was sooo stuffy… There are definitely not enough air conditioners for a modern playground.
Very cool. The staff are very positive people. We collaborated with them on the project, it was a pleasure to work with them. It's just a pity that the extras are not fed😅😅
It is a pity that few films are being made now (2-3 films per year) They earn money from films all over the world, but they don't know how to do it here)
We wanted to get in when we passed by as a family. But it turned out that only excursions are accepted and you cannot join them. Very sorry. It would be possible to allow entry for individual guests. I hope to be able to visit again.
It's a good place! Soaked through with inspiration and creativity for little money)
The architect of this wonderful structure was probably a mole in a previous life... The labyrinths are such that, according to an old legend, several people disappeared in them)))
It's actually a very strange place. People are very rude, as if someone is forcing them to work there. I wanted to rent a suit. Not only was I practically forcibly kicked out of there, because there was an hour left before closing, but also all the old things (but okay, that's not the worst thing) and dirty. It's very strange. Does no one follow them and never wash them at all?! My advice is, if you don't have a budget shooting of a retro-style movie, then I don't recommend taking costumes there.
