It's a very good theater. A cozy room, armchairs and location (proximity to the metro). The cast is just wonderful. Interesting performances for different ages.
I found the only negative only in the buffet. If you don't like to drink hot coffee, then don't buy it during the intermission. (First, they will make you coffee and make the payment, and then they will warn you that you cannot enter the hall with coffee. They have ice, but it is not offered. If you find yourself in such a situation, then immediately ask for ice.)
I was pleasantly surprised. It was the first time. The whole interior is in an autumn torn-out style, everything is very neat, everything is new, neat.Even the toilets pleased me. A very interesting ceiling on the second floor. You can sit and admire during the intermission. The performance itself also left positive emotions (Figaro). The actors just lit up. I'm thinking of visiting again sometime.
I love you, dear theater staff, and more importantly, my ten-year-old son loves you very much. You treat the classics boldly but respectfully, and modernity respectfully but ironically. We attend all your performances repeatedly, and we look forward to the premieres.
From personal recommendations, our top 3 is The Wild Hunt of King Stach (this is a masterpiece, I'm sorry for the pathos, but we are sophisticated viewers)
The Canterville Ghost
Johnny is the leader of the Redskins.
I will also recommend the Master and Margarita, at my own risk, as I liked it. Do not expect a wow effect (this is for Wild Hunting, by the way), the scale of the work cannot be covered by this small scene. Touching Vera Makei in the title role, fragile, strong, a little otherworldly, sometimes gorgeous set design, especially the ending. Wonderful cast.
Of course, this is not a retelling or quoting of a great work, it is "on the subject", but how good it is.
And P.S. My child is growing up with you, and I thank you for your hard work!
I was at the play "Princess Mary". Stylish, humorous, sensual and in a new way. Thanks for the emotions. It was probably the best production I've ever seen. But I haven't seen much to consider myself an expert. Now I want to go here again, but to another performance. With such productions, maybe I will become a connoisseur😁
The play "Princess Mary" is a classic based on the eponymous chapter of Mikhail Lermontov's novel "The Hero of Our Time".
Live music helped to feel every moment of what was happening on stage. The performance turned out to be mischievous and dynamic, it was made in line with the current modern theater.
A pleasant interior and a cozy room, in the buffet you can have a cup of coffee with dessert or something stronger.
The excellent location of the theater in the very center of the city makes it possible to get to it by metro.
And after the performance, it's nice to walk along Independence Avenue and enjoy the evening coolness.
"Dzikae palyavanne karal Stakha". The performance exceeded all expectations. Bravo to the actors. Cozy atmosphere. There are a couple of "buts". First of all, there are queues for the toilet and buffet. I didn't get anywhere in fifteen minutes of intermission. Secondly, the distance between the rows of seats. You practically rest your feet on the back of the person standing in front of you.
We were at the Penguin Show! Everything will be fine. Excellent acting, relevant musical accompaniment. The children enjoyed the interactive interaction with the audience (answers to questions, a dance flash mob). One should especially note the presence of several festive photo zones in the foyer of the theater.
11/26/24 we went to the Play W + T = Love - I really liked it. The staff, the interior and the atmosphere are super, I was with my wife and son for 12 years. He liked Onegin! The chairs are comfortable. All the actors did well!
Great theater. You can go to any performance without looking at the description, and you certainly won't lose. The work of the actors and directors is simply excellent. Raisa Astredinova IS THE BEST ACTRESS OF THIS THEATER, IMHO!!!
This theater was a discovery for me. Very, very worthy of both the theater and the play (Zhenya+Tanya = love). It went without expectations, but in fact it turned out to be a great production with great actors. The sound is great.
A wonderful performance of "Marriage". Excellent acting, a full house, a full house, with the majority of the audience being young people from 18 to 40, it is pleasantly surprising. Despite the middle of summer, and this is the middle of July, there were a lot of spectators, stormy applause, the incessant phrases "Bravo" and "Well done", a lot of flowers at the end of the performance. Thank you very much for your professional work. It turned out to be a great summer evening.
For the first time in almost 30 years of living in Minsk, I came to this theater with 2 children for the first time. (I've never had a chance before, I've only dreamed of it). After so many laudatory reviews, we were excited about the New Year's news about 3 penguins. At first everything was fine, the very diligent staff helped me to undress quickly and took me to the right places. The adults were sitting in front, but in general, it was visible. After about 10 minutes, the youngest (4 years old) got bored, and after about 20 minutes, the eldest also got bored, despite a little interaction from the actors. Children are not spoiled by various theaters and shows, but the action was really sluggish, solid songs under the veneer. My niece's mom told me that it was very cool at another performance, 5 sets were changed... They moved the ice floes here, waved rags a la waves, and lit up a bit... and everything. A very blurry role of Santa Claus. Then everyone was invited to a large hall with a Christmas tree. And for 10 minutes we circled the crowd in a round dance, played frozen and finished in a ball. Okay. We leave the hall, and there's a buffet with a small game room. The children were already hungry, and we happily headed there. Junior goes to the playroom, coffee for the moms, popcorn for the kids. 2 minutes of rest.. And here it is, the moment of truth. An employee enters- did you like everything? Perfectly! Please leave the buffet in 2 minutes, we have a new performance. We only had time to take a couple of sips of coffee, thanks at least the buffet worker offered the lid. We've earned money, and you eat and drink on the street, your problems are on the way out! , not the entrance!!!We see an announcement from the buffet: the buffet is open for 15 minutes after serving. It looks like there are 5 minutes left for us due to the show at the Christmas tree.We went downstairs, saw the decorated hall, the children rushed to look. Before we had gone 10 steps to the decoration, we were again urgently asked to leave as soon as possible. We were practically surrounded, if only we could get out as soon as possible. I have never seen such disgusting behavior in any theater. 3 stars only for the beauty of the premises. I will never take my children to this "beautiful" place again, and I do not recommend it to anyone.
Very good children's productions. The actors are playing great. The child was delighted, and I liked it.
In Winnie the Pooh, make a rabbit genatsvale 👌🏻😂
We have been able to evaluate this theater so far only from the perspective of young viewers - we have been to children's performances. And I'm already thrilled! We plan to get acquainted with the rest of the repertoire, including for adults. It's amazing how beautiful a performance can be. Light/color/sound attract attention 100%. Performances in Russian and Belarusian. For the musical motifs, the costumes are beautiful. There is a buffet, but we have never been there. And to the artists, of course, bravo!
An excellent theater, a small but comfortable hall, attentive staff, beautiful painting on the ceiling in the lobby on the second floor, there is even a buffet.
Just a delight! We watched the production of "Polochanka" in the Belarusian language. Everything is clear, very sincere, it moved me to tears. The actors are great fellows 👏👏👏
Recently, the performances have been on top, the screenwriter and director are just a star, the theater has received a second wind thanks to these people. I highly recommend the performance: The Queen of Spades
On January 7, 2024, my friend, my children and I came to the performance "How Uncle Au celebrated the new year." The gorgeous hall, the actors, the scenery, the buffer workers are all at a high level. After the performance, we decided to go to the buffet for coffee, as it was -20 ° below zero outside. No sooner had we sat down at the table, than a theater employee came into the buffet and told us not to stay late. We weren't going to, but we'd like to have coffee. Less than three minutes later, the second employee came in and said in a sarcastic voice that it was time for us, because they also needed to DRINK TEA. We were in a good mood after the performance, discussing with the children how good it was that even in such a cold we came to the theater. We took the children and coffee and went to the wardrobe. On the way, a friend stopped to take pictures of the children, and I went to pick up my things. She was also told there to hurry up, because they needed to ventilate the room. We didn't object here either, we started dressing the children. But when the lights were defiantly turned off in the wardrobe and once again they sarcastically told us to hurry up and throw the theater, some man could not stand it first, he was also with us in the wardrobe with two sons. To his remark that this was the height of lack of culture, the theater worker continued to insist that we leave. The whole impression of the performance and the theater was ruined. The work of actors is devalued by such an attitude towards people, and most importantly children.
For the head of the Youth Theater, this should serve as a signal for at least a serious conversation with the team. If we don't have an understanding of ethics and culture in theaters, then where should it be?!
The performance is wonderful, the child watched without stopping and was emotionally attracted. The buffet did not work, there is no parking. We will definitely come again
I definitely recommend the theater for young viewers to visit. The repertoire is very diverse, wonderful performances for audiences of a wide age range from 0 to infinity. My family watched most of the children's repertoire and a couple of 16+ performances. Always interesting scenery, good costumes. I want to emphasize the high professionalism of the actors. Beautiful interiors, a small cozy hall, comfortable chairs.
Everything is great! It's very beautiful, I liked everything. Interesting performances, comfortable chairs, the atmosphere is amazing. The repertoire is quite diverse (in any case, young and I have enough theatergoers).
The staff is extremely polite and friendly, the location is very convenient, easy to reach by almost any type of transport. I don't know about parking, I'm not a car lover.
Polite staff, clean, beautiful. The performances are very interesting, both for children and for adults. You can go to the buffet, have a snack. And on the ground floor you can buy souvenirs- toys for children
It's a very good theater. Korotkevich's production is a classic. But unfortunately, I didn't like Canterville - the actors are wonderful, but the elements of the musical with the soundtrack forced me to leave after the first intermission.
We attended the performance of Dzikae palyavanne by karal Stakh. I really liked the performance itself, especially after reading the book, the whole idea of the director was clear. The theater itself is a small, cozy hall.
16.11 I was at Figaro, I had a lot of fun. Modern, funny. I especially liked the performer of the role of the Count - his amble after the gazebo with "Suzanne" is something. He's a mood maker! I will definitely come again!
Wonderful theater. A wonderful troupe and always excellent, interesting productions. A wonderful team of employees. We always enjoy going to this theater with our daughter
A good place to go with a small child and introduce him to art. Talented actors, interesting performances. We took the child on a fly-clatter, I liked it. Ticket prices are low
We plunged into the atmosphere of coziness with children, starting with tickets at the entrance and a wardrobe, a wonderful performance, happy faces of children and small souvenirs at the exit... I highly recommend it to children. Thank you very much to all the employees!!!
I had a chance to visit the wonderful play "Figaro" on January 27! First of all, I would like to note the gorgeous performance of the actors. The role of Figaro is well played. But other actors were in no way inferior to Figaro - the Countess, Susanna, the count, the funny nimble page, and the whole team on stage look great and well-coordinated!
I would also like to note the director's component of the play. It looks very easy, three hours flew by unnoticed for us, and throughout the performance we laughed and empathized with the characters during the development of the plot. At the end, the hall exploded with stormy applause, which confirms the above.
Thanks to the actors and the director for the pleasure they had while watching!
At the Canterville Ghost, I cried at the end.
I find it difficult to perceive information in Belarusian, but they (the acting team) "punched" me on an emotional level
Tickets were bought in advance. It was necessary to "kill" the evening, but it turned out to be completely different. It was fun and interesting. Great actors and an interesting plot. They left very satisfied. Thanks for playing.
A wonderful theater, intimate, cozy and very beautiful. The children liked it, and so did the adults. We were at the New Year's performance, the children were delighted, and the adults had a sense of wonder.
Convenient location of the theater. There is a beautiful interior inside. The staff is polite, pleasant. The toilets are clean, the hall is comfortable, upholstered chairs, wide aisles. The actors did well, they played with a bang.
We were at the performance 36/6! It's amazing! The entire cast is bravo! Vera! A special bow to you! As always on top! We are waiting for more and more comedies from you all!)
The performances are wonderful, everything is great! The hall is cozy, the stage is visible from any place due to the good location of the chairs. Polite staff.
I decided to take the children to the play. I was worried that young people who are used to current smartphones will not be interested. And I was wrong. The children were absolutely delighted. Me too. Now they are asking to bring them together again. I am choosing and planning in the near future.
It is a very good museum with an interesting exposition, but there is a catastrophic lack of light in the main halls. Fluorescent ceiling lamps distort colors, and it's just dark.
At the same time, many great artists are exhibited.
If you haven't been, be sure to go!
