The rating is 5 stars for the hall. High elevation, fairly good visibility. Comfortable chairs.
A small theater. A clean, tidy lobby. Beautiful Christmas tree on the second floor. There is an aquarium with fish, which is very attractive to children. There is a buffet. There are enough places on the second floor where you can sit.
We went to the children's play "Morozko" in January 2025. I was not impressed by the performance. Unfortunately.
First of all, the performance is a bit boring. Children like to be lively. Baba Yaga was the one who gave it away. So she had facial expressions, and play, and activity for a children's play. Personally, I had a lot of scenes of Leshy, Kikimora and Baba Yaga (I don't remember them in the fairy tale). There are a lot of dialogues and texts for children, and there is also an incomprehensible dialect in Baba Yaga's speeches. There are few songs, not enough music, and dancing, too. They sang to the soundtrack. The actors could have turned around more in their game, the roles were interesting... But there was a red lollipop that everyone had been savoring for so long (it felt like they were just filling in the time).
Secondly, the costumes. Kikimora, Leshi, Baba Yaga and her ridiculous umbrella - this is already some kind of last century, honestly. That's it, these "knitted granny rugs made of colorful rags in public" - that's how they make an impression. You can make it easier and tasteful. More minimalistic. More modern. Choose the colors correctly! Limit yourself to a few basic colors in the production and build on them. There is no brightness or pure colors, the costumes are dim. It's a children's play! I want to be colorful! Take a look at the video (if the moderators add it), how your costumes look faded. Maybe find a young modern designer... Pinterest is the same to watch. Yes, the acting is important, but so are the costumes! On an equal footing. I would like to come and watch the play "as a whole" in our time. And for the Actors, and for decent costumes, and for the scenery. And to make it all harmonious! To leave an aftertaste of "Yes, it was all stylish and tasteful." Unfortunately, there is no such thing yet.
I liked the scenery in the play: there was no overkill, everything looked somehow easy. They did a great job when the hero Morozko controls his blizzard - this special lighting effect is beautiful, I liked it.
Third, take care of your bathrooms. In particular, with a female one. In the booths (in all of them!) disgusting scents. The whole impression of your theater is spoiling. Hang up the flavors if you can't eliminate the causes. Because everything is clean, tidy, and the smell is even worse.
They write about polite staff. Yes, polite. But very very quickly, everyone is asked to leave the theater. There was no atmosphere of relaxation. Everything is kind of fast, fast, fast. Culturally, this is how they direct you to exit from the second floor.
We are going to have another children's play in this theater. Tickets have been purchased. Let's go and take a look. Maybe my opinion will change for the better.
But at first glance, the theater has something to work on. 50 productions. Tickets are sold out. The price for the performance is not low. You can try your best in all plans. Better less, but better!
* We won't go to the Morozko a second time. Unless it's a completely different production and costumes. But you can take a child once. Unfortunately, there are not many children's performances in Minsk.
A good theater, a wonderful interior, a wonderful hall with comfortable chairs, rows with a rise, everything is clearly visible. We watched the play The Last Victim. The acting is excellent, with full dedication. I didn't like the production a little, the plot of the play is more dramatic, so an unnecessary farce did not always seem appropriate. The set design is gloomy and sparse. Some of the characters' costumes are more classic, some are modern, and this combination was also a little confusing. But, in general, it's worth visiting the theater, because the actors are great

A magnificent theater with great actors and productions! A cozy room, very comfortable chairs. I love the first row, the effect of interaction with the actors is created. Excellent actors, we often go to theaters and, in my opinion, the strongest troupe is here. The game of the couple Daria Izmailova and Andrey Gladky, and the sophisticated Evgeny Lukyanov, was especially touched. Thanks again to the whole theater for the wonderful evenings under your roof
