We were in the restaurant on 09/23/2023, the roast was cooked terribly, the waiter was told about it.We are also under the unpleasant impression that we need to pay 10 rubles for the maintenance of the cake for the holiday (i.e. for taking the cake to the birthday boy and for cutting).There are no complaints about the staff, the attitude to work is excellent.I would like to say about music, if on a paid basis, then at least we started the music program earlier (at least at 19.00).

We are tourists in Belarus and wanted to visit a national restaurant with an appropriate atmosphere, but we could not get into this "restaurant", because we did not pass face control Today 08/24/12 the heat is +34, respectively, we were dressed in shorts and T-shirts - men and girls in dresses, the usual urban style, not even a beach option but the receptionist looked down at us and said that this place does not mean entering in shorts.
Well, in fact, this is a basement, in fact - this is a basement room that has been converted into a "restaurant"! We do not treat such establishments (converted basements) badly, but this Hut has too much pathos.
Perhaps it's for the best that we didn't go there, all the tables were empty and only one table was occupied by guests (they didn't pay attention to their clothes, probably they were sitting in tuxedos), we went to another place, at the entrance they asked the receptionist if it was okay that we were in shorts? Well, in general, we all laughed heartily together and had a good time.
The funny thing is that we did not follow the reviews that people wrote about the Belarusian Hut and decided to give this institution a chance, but in vain, we only spoiled our mood. It was unpleasant. Administration, please write that you have an entrance only in formal clothes and do not spoil the mood and impression of vacationers in your country. One star is all you deserve.

I visited the restaurant on 30.05.22, and this visit ruined the evening, because time was spent, but dinner was not possible. Merchant pancakes with meat, mushrooms, herbs, cheese and cranberries were ordered. Of all the above, there were pancakes, more like pancakes with a small addition of potatoes, sprinkled with mushrooms (dried, partly burnt) and cheese. The receptionist was polite, said that according to the cook everything was supposed to be, but after looking at the dish she realized that this was not the case. At the same time, I waited for almost 40 minutes for all this splendor. And as a result, after drinking a pot of tea, she left the establishment. At least the bill was only for tea. I do not recommend this place.

May 11, 2019. The Belorusskaya Izba restaurant on Sovetskaya Street in Gomel. Inside it is very cozy at home, delicious, high-quality and fast cooking. The dishes are delicious and extraordinary. We arrived at 23.00, an hour before closing time. A charming girl (I don't know her name) greeted me very warmly. The weather outside was disgusting, it was raining heavily. Before the "Belarusian Hut" we visited many establishments, but as it turned out, in Gomel almost all restaurants and cafes in the center are open until 22.00-23.00, and we went to each establishment about 30 minutes before its closure and were told that the kitchen was no longer working, or asked if we would have time to eat in 20 minutes before the closure of this cafe.
We came to the Belarusian Hut an hour before it closed and asked if they would close in 30 minutes. We were told that they were not closing, we could settle down and we immediately felt a friendly atmosphere! Thank you. We wish prosperity to your restaurant, and your employees a high decent salary.
